11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Cabourg and Bastone were excellent hotels.

Amazing Experience, I would recommend this to anyone with an interest in the Western Front.

The meals were amazing....but The hotel meals in Normandy were our least favorite. It would be great, that a few options be provided, as opposed to Chicken and fish each night at that hotel. The breakfast there was also just ok.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Just a little more information regarding culpability and mindset of German people for events leading up to and during the War years.

Both support staff and meals were simply outstanding.

I’ve been on other tours but, ProCom stands head and shoulder above others.

I already have recommended ProCom to others and will continue to do so. Can’t wait for my next adventure with the organization.

Simply scrumptious meals with beautiful presentation.

Truly a professional in every sense. Great personality and always a smile.

Especially enjoyed the ceremony at the chapel. Nice touch!

Wish I could give him six stars. Looking forward to a Viet Nam Tour with such quality staff. He made all of us feel important and constantly asked if there was anything more he could do. Can’t say enough about his professionalism and personal care.

Amusing and personable we’re Bruno’s best remembered qualities.

What a wealth of information and ability to put you in the battle through imaging.

It’s still hard to believe we had such a personable and knowledgeable guide. What a sense of history and perspective.

So much knowledge in one tour guide with a wonderful sense of honor.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Very helpful and upbeat.

Couldn’t have been better.

Hotels were great! Well located with excellent food.

Incredible to see and the guide was awesome.

Such a contrast to Omaha. Really enjoyed this day with the beach and the towns. The paratrooper support was incredible.

Really interesting to see the actual bridge remains.

I loved this part of the trip. Belgium is beautiful and the WW2 history is incredible. Really enjoyed the day on the front line following Peiper’s advance. Sorry, this should be in the northern line section. Loved seeing the Bastogne entrenched line and Foy off in the distance.

Yet another somber experience. I’m very thankful we stopped to see this.

Yuck, but had to see it.

In the heart of the beast. A wonderful tour with a great guide.

Unbelievable. What an interesting site and quite strange experience. Having watching lots of YouTube’s of the actual rallies, this was quite a day.

My favorite!

Somber experience. Loved it.

Wow, such a great day!

Canadian museum and beach guide was enthusiastic and informative.

Wow, a wonderful site to visit.

Loved seeing this site.

Very interesting.

What a beautiful seaside town and the harbor remains were surreal.

Well done.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

I think the tour was great. The local guides were very knowledgeable and did a great job. Everything was run in a first class manner and I am completely satisfied.

Almost to much food but fortunately we were able to walk it off.

Robert did an outstanding job in keeping the group informed and prepared for whatever was upcoming. Especially did good work on the snow-out on the last day at Berchtesgaden. On short notice, came up with a great "plan B". Robert is a very personable young man who shared his knowledge of Europe to enhance the group's experience.

Christophe was exceptional. Thorough understanding of the battle of Normandy and able to communicate well with the group.

Robert discussed the morality and choices made by the average German regarding the concentration camps which I thought made the visit to Dachau more interesting than just a recitation of statistics. Very thought provoking.

Excellent understanding of the Battle of the Bulge and able to communicate the information to the group.

Liked that it was all inclusive and at an affordable price point. Very satisfied with the quality of the local guide, and procom staff. Staff at the hotel professional and provided welcome environment . Left me with a desire to return home and learn even more about D day and to share my experience with others. Yes I would recommend your tour and already have.

loved the wifi access and also the charging ports. Driver kept us all safe.

Local guide did a great job

Christophe, was very knowledgeable , brought History to life.

Visitor center was closed and access to the cemetery restricted due to preparations for the actual D day Big celebrations event.

lunch spot provided good views of the area. Plenty of time to explore on our own after lunch

Local Canadian guide did a good job

A nice finish to that day

felt that there was not enough time to see all of the museums

Gabriella did a great job of keeping us all informed of changes and making sure that she didn't lose any of us

Beautiful facility and location, and great food.

Other than spending more time there, I don't see how the tour could have been improved. Even being well read regarding the history, the combination of lodging, transportation and information would be hard to beat.

My only reservation is that given the seaside location, I'd have liked to have seen more seafood.

Danielle was great fun and a great addition to the tour.

5-day Normandy Invasion review

The tour covered a lot of ground in a very short timeframe. Everything was top notch from the food to the tour guides. I loved not having to plan or book anything. Everything was taken care of so my husband and I could just enjoy our trip.

Tony's driving skills are astonishing! He was masterful with the bus through extremely narrow streets and around tight turns.

Sue was great! Very friendly and we loved talking with her about her life and working with BBOB.

Danielle was amazing! Very knowledgeable with a great personality and wonderful stories. When people ask about our trip, we always mention Danielle and how amazing she is!

5-day Normandy Invasion review

Lance was very helpful, upfront, and good to work with.

Very helpful material. Data provided enabled us to better plan and prepare for the trip.

Not really, Perhaps a bit more history on the sights we were to visit. The data was obtainable elsewhere, but having it as part of your packet would have been more convenient.

Good. The showers took some getting used to. No doors and a short glass made it diffficult at times to keep the water from out of the rest of the bathroom.

Good service getting us into the program. Great service once we were picked up and taken away.

Very favorable impression. We are already telling others how happy we were with the tour.

Excellent. Your crew did a fantastic job getting us to a great place to dine and some very tasty meals. I loved to local fare, especially the cider.

The bus was a bit cramped and the overhead bins could have been a bigger. It was hard to store everything without having it in your lap. The recharging plugs were a big help. Our driver was a real pro. I’d hate to drive a vehicle that size in that traffic and in those tight areas. He never missed a beat and we felt totally safe in his hands.

Again, to actually walk the beach and climb the slopes brings out the heroic measures these men went through.

Being there gave us a whole different perspective on what took place. The openness and true lack of cover for approaching troops made the realities sink in a bit deeper.

Actually seeing what is there as opposed to seeing the movie meant a great deal. The glider pilots did an excellent job. Good training. Good flying. It took a lot of courage to do this.

Very, very moving. If this place doesn’t get to you there is something wrong with you. To see that many crosses and Stars of David and realize most of these men, and women, died pretty much on the same day and place has to be thought provoking. To realize there are still people there who take that much care of the grounds means the sacrifices made have left a strong impression on people.

Impressive, but not as much as I thought it would be. Such a small area for such an heroic action.

This is one of the beaches we never received sufficient schooling on, probably due to the fact it was not ‘American’.

Very sobering place. It is hard to believe so much damage could come from such a place.

Being there gave us a better idea of the close quarters involved and how difficult it would have been to avoid becoming a casualty.

Another place we have had too little schooling on. My comments on open warfare followed by urban warfare probably should have gone here. The fact remains, the British and the Canadians performed bravely and well. My hat is off to them.

I wish we could have actually walked the battle area. It would have made for a better understanding of what took place.

Very informative, especially when it came to the gliders.

The plane ride helped one get a better feeling of what it was like going in. Obviously, not as much as actually undergoing the experience.

Very impressive. I was not aware of its existence.

See above.

Seeing the town so close to the landing site gave one pause knowing that one had to get across the beach against severe odds and then be forced to fight in such close quarters. The remains of the Mulberry system was a bit disappointing until one realized it has been 70 years of pounding surf on the remains and yet they are still there. The engineering that went into it is also amazing considering the lack of today’s computer assisted calculations and drafting.

It helped to actually see the place as opposed to just reading about it and looking a pictures.

Catelyn did an excellent job. We left on time. Arrived on time. Saw some sights we would have missed had we done this alone. Her advice was excellent. Her help making our tour a great one was indispensable. I’ve had other tour managers and she is right up there with the best. She conducted herself very well and is a credit to Procom.

Stephan was excellent! Language was a minor issue. Trying to absorb all eh tried to pass on to us was very impressive and probably an impossible mission. I learned a great deal.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

They answered any questions I had promptly and directly. Helpful!

I would have like to had been given the opportunity to at least request a side trip to a family gravesite prior to the start of the tour. I could have asked the tour Director ((I didn't) assuming it was too late.

I thought all the hotels were very good and certainly served the purpose. Mecure had a good dinner buffet with entrée choices. much appreciated, Melba was a bit smaller but well maintained. I suspect that market had fewer choices./ The owner/manager was very good and worked very hard to service our group. The Courtyard Marriot was the best of the three offering larger rooms and some English channel TV service. All three could have offered more English content TV feeds

Everything exceeded my expectations. No complaints. We were well feed, keep a reasonable timetable, packed a lot in so for what we did thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I have some disappointments however. Not being able to see the actual foxholes in Bastogne and not going to the Eagle's nest was a big disappointment. The Berchtesgaden website said it did not open until May 24th so not sure why it was on the itinerary for a May 13th visit?

Informative, interesting, varied. Service was very well done. Easy to be there. Schedule was full and the accommodations were comfortable

Generally the food quality and quantity was very good. There were a couple of occasions that were not quite as good as the standard but nothing worthy of a complaint

Charlie was great. Coach was comfortable. Wifi worked well. Adequate stops along the way.

We visited several areas of Omaha beach which gave us a very good perspective on what happened there. Glad we took in the Overlord museum to compensate for the limited access to the full cemetery

Well done. Lots of time to view all the exhibits, beach areas and cafe

Well done. Guided tour was adequate

Good. Very disappointed that we did not get to the actual foxholes where easy company were during the battle. Apparently the road was blocked as they are trying to protect the site for the 75th anniversary celebrations late this year

The guided tour was very good and the subject matter expert was unique in offering his perspective. The tour of the military equipment was well done, impressive as was the visit through the headquarters and the recreation of the scenes

Weather did not cooperate. Steady rain and cold but was still interesting. The Tour Director added a special wreathe laying ceremony which was a very nice touch for those who participated

Everyone should experience this tour!. Food was OK but should not detract from the impact of visiting this historic site.

Generally very good. Guided tour was well done. Weather did not cooperate but interesting nonetheless

Very interesting

Unique frank perspective

Very interested in the actual battlefield sites so well done. Guided tour was excellent in his enthusiasm on the subject.

The actual grave areas were cordoned off in preparation of the 75th Anniversary celebrations (that is what we were told) so limited the full impact of the visit but the facility is very impactful. The visitor centre was not open.

Well done with pretty of time to visit the entire site. The visitor centre was somewhat restricted due to the security screening measures so we skipped that

Well done. The guided tour was excellent and the museum excellent

Thought the site was good and time to visit adequate.

Barry was exceptional, and handled the unexpected with ease. Easy to relate to, responsive, organized and caring

didn't think there was much to see so OK with not spending much time there. I thought the British could have done more to honour their troops!!

Exceptional as we were able to gain better access that was originally planned due to the tour director and driver's initiative. They backed to bus along the access road until we got to the Manor. The owner came out and gave the group an impromptu talk about the action that took place there. Would have ben out of the park if we could have actually walked the tree line where the gun emplacements were.

Well done. I could have spent even longer in the various museums but in fairness to the group we had lots of time.

Good spot to view the remnants

I found it a little difficult to know where to view the presentation and wondered if I had missed some of it

local first hand knowledge!

Nice walk with the tour guide.

very knowledgeable and interesting

5-day Normandy Invasion review

Lance was excellent. He answered all of my questions, usually in less than a day. He did a great job.

Lance answered every question I had and then added even more information that made my understanding even better.

I would like to have received more information on the places where we had lunch or dinner. I lost my notes on them and I was planning on sending them a letter telling them how much I enjoyed their food and service. I did tell them face to face as we left each establishment, but I thought a letter would have been an extra. Your people in the filed did a great job in finding not only where to eat, but what to pre-order. We really enjoyed what was served, especially when given a chance to try local foods as opposed to "American" foods. Local fare made the trip much more enjoyable.

The rooms were a bit small by the standards I am used to when travelling around the States, but then again, we enjoyed the service and the food. The people were great and the food was very delicious and healthy.

We are very pleased and will tell others this.

We are very happy. It was a trip of a lifetime for us. You met all of our expectations and then some. We are already telling others about what all we did and how well things went.

I'm surprised I only gained 2 pounds! Then again, before I joined the tour group my wife and I spent seven days in Paris, mainly walking. I think we walked close to 50 miles in seven days. That takes a few pounds off you. Every meal we had was excellent! Whoever took the time and effort to scout out where to eat and what meals to have served out did themselves. I wanted to eat local dishes, I did and they were great. I enjoyed some of the best sea food I've had in quite a while. The breakfasts were just enough and tasted good. The local cider was a treat (Thanks Catelyn for recommending them).

The seats were a bit cramped and leg room could have been better. The overhead storage was a bit shallow and that made it hard to store one's personal gear. Our driver as great. A real professional. I oversaw safety issues for years, to include drivers, both professionals and non-CDL types. Normally, I am very nervous when other people drive and I am a passenger. This is especially true on crowded roads and roads with less than optimum room to spare at corners and intersections. Our driver handled all aspects of this trip in a truly professional manner. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the gentleman's name (Catelyn can tell you if you do not already know).

Another impressive place to physically walk and experience, especially if one has a real idea of what transpired there and why.

Again, I studied the battles while in high school (Culver Military Academy) and college (USMA), but actually being there made a much different impression on me. Reviewing maps tells you who moved where and when, but actually walking the ground and seeing the obstacles gives one a completely different perspective of what took place. Having been on competitive rifle teams in high school and college I had a much different perspective on what both a defender and an invader went through. I could more easily see why the casualties were so high.

I knew about this operation and why it was undertaken. Actually seeing where the gliders landed; how close they came to the bridge when they did land; and, how close the opposing forces were when they fought (in mainly open areas) was impressive. Why more men were not killed is unbelievable. Then again, I have to believe the opposing troops just were not battle-hardened enough for the job. Had they had more experience I think the out come could have been different. My hat is off to the glider pilots. Great training and determination paid off.

Extremely impressive! We knew it would be, but knowing this was not sufficiently effective enough to get one ready to actually see the place. Almost a sensual overload. My hat is off to everyone who works to maintain the place. They have done a magnificent job. Probably a labor of love for many. If anyone can go there and not be touched there has to be something wrong with them. This really brought home the significance of what took place. I wish every American could tour this place as a requirement to getting one's high school diploma and/or college degree. If more young men and women were to physically see this place and be educated on why it was there our country would be a better place to live.

It was not as impressive as I thought it would be. I know the history. I even met a man who made the climb. I'm not sure why, but for some reason I expected more.

Interesting beach. I supposed because I went through American schooling not much was taught in regards to Juno and Sword. That is a pity. These guys did a whole lot to make the entire plan work. I learned a lot here.

I've seen pictures, but physically being there is even more impressive. I would have thought the guns would have done more damage (even though they did enough). Learning why they did not (communications) was not something taught in school.

Again, I had studied this in school. It was amazing so many survived. but just as amazing anyone would have "volunteered" to do this.

Again, I did not get as much education on this beach as I did on Omaha and Utah. I wish I had. From my point of view, attacking a beach and crossing several hundred yards of no-cover sand is bad enough, but doing that and then having to fight in an urban area is even worse in many ways. Yes, a brick wall may give you some extra cover, but it also hides a lot problems areas, too. Seeing this made that point even more obvious to me.

I understood what transpired. I would have liked to have been able to physically walked the area in order to get a better picture of what everyone went through.

This reinforced what I had already been taught. My wife found it as being a brand new lesson. She had no real clue as to how glider operations actually took place; the way the planes took the gliders aloft; the way they were loaded and unloaded; the harsh realities of bad landings; and, how courageous these guys had to be to jump out of planes or ride one into an unknown landing zone. She got a real education.

Almost too commercial. Most of the info provided had already been given elsewhere. The plane ride was interesting, but there was not enough information as to why it was called what it was called.

I knew the German's suffered immense casualties and had to have been buried somewhere, but I did not know where. Going to this cemetery was a real eye-opener and filled in some blanks in my knowledge base. I was impressed that the cemetery was well laid out and maintained. One might have thought this would not have been the case based on the feelings the French probably had during and after the war.

I expected to see more and learn more. I studied engineering as well as history and military science and tactics, but I think more could have been laid out on this subject. The whales were new to me. I had learned the Mulberry Harbor was made in England and towed into place. I do not believe many of the people on this tour fully understood how this was done or the full significance of it being there.

Impressive and well done.

I knew about this place and its history. To see it in person put a whole different light on the subject. Reading about something is one thing but actually being there is something else again. It makes the history that much more personal.

She did an excellent job. She was diplomatic when necessary. Always helpful. Made sure all of our needs were met. Offered timely and accurate advice. She had a time table to meet and she made sure it was met (herding cats in many ways). She was and I am sure she will remain, an very good face for Procom. She did an outstanding job. I've had tour managers before that I would cheerfully kick off the bus. Not her. My wife and I are more than happy with her performance.

He provide more information in three days than I think I received in over seven years of education in military science (high school and college). I only wish his English had been better. I am slightly hard of hearing and this caused me to have trouble hearing and understanding what he was trying to put across. Great guy who is truly interested in what he is presenting. I wish I had every teacher in school as interested and dynamic in the material as Stephane is. School would have been a lot better and much more interesting to me than it was.

5-day Normandy Invasion review

Extremely informative. I never felt we were wasting time and being held too long in any one place yet I also felt that we had enough time at most locations to see all we wanted. For me, at age 68, I was tired at the end of the day but not totally worn out. I think it was a good mix of riding and walking. I can't imagine a better tour of the places we went too with the time allotted. One thing that was a problem for my brother and I was that even with the instructions to get to the parking lot at the airport, we had difficulty getting started in the right direction and wandered around for a long time until we were able to find a gendarme who helped us.

My personal preference is not to have a full course meal for lunch. I would have preferred a choice of something lighter like a sandwich or caesar salad. But all the food was excellent.

Seats are actually a little tight for a 6 footer like my brother and I. Otherwise, the bus was fine. Tony the driver was excellent. He got us in and out of places I couldn't believe we could get into. He seemed to be a really nice guy and very professional. He's a keeper too.

Probably the best tour guide I've ever had. Outstanding local knowledge and answered every question. Went out of his way to talk about things we were interested in.

Matt couldn't be more accommodating or conscientious. A nice guy who clearly enjoys taking us out. He got to know all of us individually and was attentive to special needs. He's a gem!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

It was a great tour. I would definitely recommend the tour and already have.

Charlie was awesome He made our rides very pleasant.

Our tour guide was awesome, Reg Jans, I had seen him on a few videos before going and he is amazing with the information that he knows

We needed more time but we were able to cover almost all of the information that was there.

This was on my fathers bucket list even in the rain it was a good stop.

We were told we were going to walk about an 1.5 miles, it was well over that. The tour guide had a ton of information that was very interesting to hear.

We were able to meet Charles de Vallavieille which made the visit even better.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

I’m saying yes but only because there is so much more I want to know. Our manager and guides were fantastic but there is no way to cover everything.

They were all good. They provided great breakfasts and good dinners. Might have had more choices on dishes,

If there was any complaint, and it’s not really Procom’s problem, is I think this was rated a level two exercise. There might be a way to say for those over sixty it could seem more strenuous! I won’t put this on Procom but it’s just a thought. My wife and I have been on many tours and though not in the best shape, this one hit us harder especially at the end. Again, not on Procom but we also had events before the tour that added to our fatigue and we have also not been on a tour of this length. Additionally I must say that Barry was super accommodating and helpful to us in this matter.

No meal was bad but there might have been more choices. Mercure had fish and beef two nights and fish and chicken the third. We had versions of beef stew three times. Again, all were good but might offer different selections.

No complaints! Charlie was fantastic!

Just not enough time as the museum was so comprehensive.

Leg problem developed making a long walk not advisable.

No fault of BOB but construction blocked a lot.

Very technical and knowledgeable!

Fantastic! Guide was great!

Loved her! Knowledgeable and funny!

Both were great!

5-day Normandy Invasion review

Staff was amazing. Breakfast was great! Rooms were very clean.

Tour covered subject and sights very well. I was well versed on the Normandy landings, and someone who only had a limited knowledge of the battle would come away with a much greater understanding of the subject.

Tony was very professional, and very safe.

Methias was very knowledgeable about area! He was great!

Extremely! Matt would remember minor details about special needs that were discussed many days before trip. Young man was squared away.

Very comfortable, excellent staff and food was always top notch.

Everything went well and the tour was full from morning to night. The staff had excellent knowledge of all the locations we visited.

Everyplace was stopped for lunch was excellent.

Very comfortable.

Excellent background and knowledge of each location. He should publish his work, it would be a best seller!

She was wonderful at herding the cats on the tour. Very caring and accommodated everyone during the entire tour. Giver her a raise!

5-day Normandy Invasion review

Natasha was spectacular helping us get everything booked.

Procom covered every aspect of information we needed.

I have never stayed in such a beautiful place. This hotel was as perfect a place as we could have hoped for.

I loved it! There were a few times it felt a bit hurried, but overall it was excellent.

Maybe just a tad more variety. Too much pork.

I swear Tony could park that bus in a shoe box.

I could not believe the sheer cliffs and imagining how soldiers climbed those cliffs to assault German positions.

I loved touring the gun emplacements

Just wish we had a little more time here, but it was still great to see.

Mathias is a walking history book.

Just wish we could have seen the actual gun positions.

The authentic WWII memorabilia was amazing.

Still blood stains on the pews.

Matt rocks!!

This was a gem right in the middle of Bayeux. My heart hurt looking at the ages listed on the grave markers. So young.

11-day Normandy to the Bulge review

The consultant took the initiative to call me regarding a question on the donation I intended to give and cleared-up any questions I had.

The tour catalog was very comprehensive and satisfied my desires.

My bed is Bastogne was perfect in terms of getting a good night of sleep. At each hotel the staff was excellent and the food was good. Hotels were clean and convenient.

You did a marvelous job on this tour and I intend to come back for another tour of two, or three.

I cannot think of any aspect of the tour that was a dis appointment. As I said to Charlie, "The tour met achieved my hopes and exceed my expectations." I have already been talking-up your tours and fully intend to see you forks again.

Far Better than I expected! Good variety of good food.

A luxury coach with a friendly, capable driver. I was glad I was not driving on some of those Normandy roads.

High tide during our visit precluded getting down on the beach but the fact that we were there and could see the difficulties in getting off the beach were amazing.

Explanation of the time-frame for subduing the beach and for Ted Roosevelt's role was very valuable.

A beautiful city with amazing views from the ramparts. The local tour guide rambled a bit so that was a disappointment.

I must compliment the locals for their preservation of the original bridge.

Again, the upkeep and general air if respect in this place are entirely appropriate to the recognition of the sacrifice.

I cannot praise Charlie too highly. He was personable, humorous and knowledgeable. I hope I am lucky enough to have Charlie leading my next BBOB tour.

A very good view of the valley and the explanation clarified a lot for me.

Christoff and Henri were well-prepared and knowledgeable.

The guide did a great job of pointing out the painstaking efforts of the Battle Monuments Commission and graves of particular interest.

This was one of the must-see places on my list and the sights as well as the narrative by the guide were very good.

This was one of the high points of the trip for me. Preservation of the guns and the observation bunker were outstanding.

Information provided regarding the actual positions of the snagged parachutists made me feel like an insider.

Most impressive, especially the mounting of historical photos in the places where they were taken.

C for me. ontemporary photos of the "Dead Man's" vehicle and the surviving building made history come alive

The castle was wonderful.

Excellent preservation of what remains and pictures of the contemporary installation aided my appreciation of the significance of these harbors.

A little confusing with different scenes showing up on different parts of the screen.

Seeing the foxholes from which this battle took place was moving.

5-day Normandy Invasion review

had several questions before, during, and after booking. procom answered very patiently

I liked the hotel. it was nice and the location was excellent, but what procom calls 4 star, and would I call it, are different

it is impossible to be prepared for every possible contingency, but procom did an excellent job producing this tour. Gabreilla was a tour manager with skills far beyond what her age would have first suggested.

everything was nearly seamless from pick up at airport all the way through to tour completion. accommodations were good. food was good. water was readily available throughout the day. tours were good, interesting, and maintained a good pace. not too fast or too slow. however, because of the pace of the tour, a basic knowledge of the history was a must to understand the context of what was being seen. a VERY SHORT basic introduction or outline with a simple map at the beginning of the tour would have been useful to those not familiar with the subject, such as spouses or others along as a companion. other than some small technical difficulties, use of the radios during the tours was tremendous. allowed a great deal of freedom to explore the sites but still stay fully in touch with the guide's narration. loved the tour. the local guide, Christophe, really cared about the subject matter and it showed. he added a real depth and impact to the history. adding in personal stories of soldiers as well as civilians, turned out to be more emotional than I had expected. only wished it had been longer and had more time to explore the different locations more fully. i completely recommend this procom tour, with the caveat, go for the longer tour if you can.

everything was very good. no unpleasant surprises. no shortages at hotel breakfast and dinners and with a great variety. some of the establishments seemed a little overwhelmed by appearance of such a sizable crowd all at once. seating was sometimes crowded.

had some difficulty with wifi connection. driver had excellent skills, always on time and prepared

one day not nearly enough time for such an enormous site with such a complicated story, but I suppose that is what a longer tour is for

an excellent guide. friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, excellent language skills

wonderful town. movie was a moving testimony. seemed noticeably light on honoring or even mentioning the British, especially considering it was at a British landing site

only site offering a detailed tour of german fortifications. museum was a little light on displays and content

everything popular culture visualizes as the legend of the atlantic wall.

a necessary stop to pay homage to what happened there, but its' single monument doesnt make it look like many people attach much importance to the site.

only location where authentic and reproduction collectables were available

heart breaking story that is not well known

extremely friendly. great language skills. could have been a little more prepared for some unusual but not unforeseeable difficulties

5-day Normandy Invasion review

We loved the Chateau de la Bellefontaine in Bayeux. Only issue really is that each room occupant should be given a key to the room. When we arrived, the hotel staff was just implementing a new electronic card system and we couldn't get into our room. Was fixed in five minutes. Still, each occupant should get their own key.

I would recommend this Tour for the person who wants an intense, though not terribly rushed, exposure to the highlights of the Invasion. It was, for me, a perfect complement to the hundreds of books and many films I have watched about D-Day.

Apart from the fact that we had pork three times our of four or five meals in the middle of the Tour, the food was very good. Breakfast selections were varied and good. Suggest a can of Pam spray by the pancake grill and maybe even a small set of written instructions on how to make them. There was a lot of trail and error there.

Yes, Tony, whom many kidded about how young he appears, is an excellent driver. Many will comment on his expertise in backing the coach into very tight spaces. He managed the narrow country roads without any problems. Well done.

For the first time, I understood the importance of Utah Beach as relates Cherbourg. Utah Beach, perhaps because of the relatively low casualties, get under-appreciated.

Mathias had a PhD level knowledge of the Invasion and added a great deal to the value of the Tour. The fact that he is French is a bonus.

I wish we could have seen the actual Manor at Brecourt. We all know the story well, from the Band of Brothers book and series.

This was unexpected and an example of the many, many stories of courage that emerged from the Invasion.

Matt is a consummate professional. He is knowledgeable, confident, and a problem-solver without drama. I have to imagine that he is a very-much valued ProCom employee.

Glad to see that Major Winters got such permanent recognition. He is a great example of the citizen-soldier.

9-day American Civil War Tour - March to the Sea review

I found all accommodations/presenters proficient (save Carter) and willing to please.

The only meal I did not like was the Italian food on final night; this was first time in my life I returned food to kitchen.

Debra was super--caring, full of information/fun facts--took questions from all quarters and answered or found answers. She was not fearful of saying, "I do not know."

I especially enjoyed Bobby-Jones exhibit.

only downside--rain--appropriate for cemetery tour. How did you manage that?

The lecturer went like a Gattling gun--did not segment for dispersion of information.

Very good ranger--answered all questions.

Presenters just fabulous as well as exhibits--first time for me at Naval Museum/Civil War.

Ranger was wonderful.

wow--what a joy to see/hear about the adventure. I did not enjoy the cheesy film shown on bus.

Delightful--I hope she had safe delivery of little ranger.

Her presentation attempted two wars--Rev and Civil--disjointed; it would have been better to focus on just one.

11-day Normandy to the Bulge review

Very Satisfied

Would have liked to know that we were to be "on the move" each day as much as we were before leaving the US. IT would not have changed my plans but would have liked to know.

Hotels were fine and clean. Hotel bar service at no hotel was great. I do understand why but being w/o transportation to another bar made us a tad "captive."

Avant and Ann Taylor were excellent too...

Great tour! A bit much for older participants, but I think your company choose most necessary and best places to visit. I DO understand there is much to see and you want your participants to get their money's worth (which we DID). I mostly kept up but skipped upper Mont-St-Michel and Lux city.

Generally, meals were excellent. way more than I usually eat. One beef meal was way sub par. One beef and potatoes meal was best (Dinner-Bastogne). One lunch restaurant in France (name ?...sorry) had ONE non English speaking server. He was a teenager and totally overwhelmed by our group. It was the fancy pink joint with linen on tables and nothing to drink for first 1/2 hour

New coach with John our "combat" driver...

Patton...YES!

Charlie was great with a wonderful sense of humor

Best local guide we had...

Too much walking for older persons

Again a lot of walking for older folks after the rigor of previous days...and I love Castles!

The "My Trip" link is an excellent idea.

Small room on first floor facing main road. Traffic very noisy.

This was very different from the first trip. We did mostly battlefields during A Nation Tested. On this trip we visited Forts and very impressive Museums.

Nice variety!

She did a fantastic job! Life happens....... In spite of all the personal problems that hit her at home - Debra continued to run the race through to the finish line! This woman can handle anything thrown her way! A true leader!

9-day American Civil War Tour - March to the Sea review

They were very helpful whenever I had questions

The My Trips website was incredibly helpful in Pre tour information set up and Guide contact

The service provided by ProCom was very well done and continues to be much appreciated and professional

This tour is excellent and most informative. For its first time out it was incredibly well done making ProCom a tour company to come back to

The drivers need for Deborah's assistance in navigating made for some concern and frustration for her and the passengers

Deborah did an incredible job hurting all of the different characters on this tour, organizing it, managing it, and making it interesting

The History Center in the Cyclorama we're very informative and quite interesting

Other than the cold rain the site was very interesting however it would have been nicer if it would done in the morning and then something else in Atlanta in the afternoon

The tour of the site was excellent the tour guide was most informative

Lookout Mountain and the ranger guide tour given for it was quite interesting if a little winded

This place was fascinating and the guy was most informative

The site is very moving humbling and the p o w Museum connected to it is very well done

This site is very informative although the guide at it was less than thrilled or driven about the subject

This is a cool Fort and a very informative tour given at it

The importance of this ship cannot be understated and the tour regarding it Miss well done

This site gives an excellent overview of the full range of forts in America from Colonial to post World War 2

Outside of the Cornerstone that this site represents the remnants of the site are rather lacking

He made the weather bearable and he made for a very informative overall view of the cemetery

Mr. Carter was excellent he did a great job in covering the entire battle and the time before and after it. Having him do the entire day would be an excellent idea for next time

The ranger was incredibly well-informed seemed to enjoy the topic and newer stuff

He and his assistants brought to life a rarely-seen section of the Civil War regarding the brown Water Navy

He was informative albeit somewhat lackluster and periodically hard to follow

He was very informative and very helpful with showing us around and giving us an accurate depiction of the Ford and it's life

He did quite well and made it quite entertaining

He did very well given the unending questions from some of the other guests. He connected it all quite well

She obviously knows her stuff and knows a lot about the city however a bit more of a focus on the 19th century would have been nice.

This was very well done and most informative as one of the early forts protecting the area

He was a bit winded but other than that he was quite informative

This was nice recovered a bit more information than expected but gave a good overview of the Old Town

He was very good although it would have been nice to have a tour where you are taking around both sections of the Ford

9-day American Civil War Tour - March to the Sea review

You guys did a great job and we had a wonderful time from start to finish.

I have a keen interest in the Civil war, so knew I would enjoy the tour. My wife on the other hand, gave me the tour as a Christmas present and came along. She enjoyed it a great deal and learned a lot. We are talking about doing another one next year. It is a testament to the quality of your tours that a person with only modest interest in the subject could find it so educational and enjoyable.

Breakfasts were always good. Lunches were fine, nothing special. Dinners were for the most part very good other than the buffet at Hotel Indigo the night we arrived in Savannah which was very weak. We did an Easter buffet at an airport one night which was fine, but not great.

Debra was fantastic. Not sure she could have done any better a job. Since it was the first time for Procom doing the march to the sea, there were some unexpected things that came up and she managed around them extremely well. Would give her 6 stars if I could.

Absolutely amazing.

I think by the 5th fort, we were all a little "forted out".

While Sumter needs to stay on the tour due to it's historical significance in the war, it actually was a bit disappointing. Wonder if a private boat tour of Charleston harbor, going up to and around all of the ports would be more interesting.

One of the best of all.

She talked so much you would stop listening and then be lost.

Fort was fine, but the highlight was the person who spoke to us. He was excellent.

I love the Procom Tours and look forward to my next in 2020

I would recommend changes to the route. Atlanta to Columbus to Andersonville and then Savannah. Reduce back tracking

For the most part, meals were excellent. However, eating at late hours such and 8-9PM are difficult on the digestion and sleep

"R.T." was very courteous and considerate. Did a magnificent job at maneuvering that large coach through narrow streets

Debra is a wonderful person but tends to be a little disorganized. Not too good at reading maps more charting routes

9-day American Civil War Tour - March to the Sea review

On the whole, I thought that the sites/locations we visited were quite interesting — Andersonville and the day spent at Chickamaugua being the highlights for me. My only suggested addition (if possible) would be to drop by the old Confederate Powder Mill in Augusta — the largest gunpowder production facility of the Civil War. This, of course, would only work if the tour roadmap was altered so that we would be taking an Atlanta-Savannah route rather than the Columbus-Savannah route that we took. The Charleston walking tour was good but could be improved — perhaps a tour of of one of the stately homes/gardens and less guide discussion about various forts etc that we would soon be visiting later (and receiving the same information from their guides). On the food/dining front, my only suggestion would be — where feasible (ie ..a spot like downtown Savannah) — to give people money so that they can actually go off and find their own spot to have either lunch or dinner. I really did not enjoy that buffet at ‘Pirate’s House’ (horrible! haha) in Savannah and would have been happy to find another spot. Group meals are fine but being able to go off at least once (or twice) to find your own spot to eat would be nice. Obviously, this would not work if ones hotel is far removed from areas where restaurants are clustered.

The amount of information provided prior to the trip was amazing. Please keep doing this because it is extremely useful when visiting another country.

The driver was great; he driving skills were second to none, I felt safe the entire trip. He took the time to assist each tour member with their luggage and assist each member on and off the motor coach. Great job!

Milan was outstanding; his knowledge and personal attention to each tour member was outstanding. His historical knowledge mixed with his humor was fantastic.

Amazing

8-day Battle of the Bulge review

Debra Watkins is awesome! Very responsive and helpful with the 2 trips that I have taken so far (Italy, 2017 and Belgium 2018).

I really like the My Trip feature with all the information that is provided. I also like being contacted by the Tour Manager a month in advance.

I especially liked that the Hotel Melba was within walking distance to the main street in Bastogne.

Overall service from Procom is outstanding. This was my second Procom trip so I can see that there is institutional excellence with the way that Procom does business.

I had one of the best times of my life on this tour. The only way to do a Battle of the Bulge tour is in December. There is nothing quite like seeing the foxholes of Bois Jacques or the Luxembourg American Cemetery in the snow and fog of a cold December day. That, together with some awesome historical sights, wonderful tour guides, a terrific Procom team taking care of us, great fellow-travelers and some delicious food, all made for one of the most memorable experiences ever. One final point that also made the trip so worthwhile – it is very special to visit countries where the sacrifices of our Soldiers in WWII are still remembered and honored.

The meals were universally excellent. There was only one restaurant (Italian one on main street in Bastogne) that I would recommend not including on future tours, based on the long wait and absent-minded service (but the food was very good there).

The motor coach was just the right size for our group of 10, with wifi and water available to us. Driver was excellent.

Henri is an absolute treasure! His depth of knowledge, some of which is from personal experience, cannot be beat. You can tell that it is more than just a job for him; he has a passion for the history that comes alive when he is sharing it with others.

Our guide, Henri, was incredible. We were lucky to have him for a couple of days on the tour.

On the day we went, there was snow and fog, which was the perfect atmosphere for this somber event.

Guide was excellent.

Again, Henri was our guide and it was terrific!

This was more fun than I thought it would be! Just have to remember that if I ever go there again, to stand closer so I can catch some nuts.

Barry was outstanding! He took great care of us and it was a stress-free trip in every regard.

Great itinerary. I would recommend the tour because of the variety of sites visited and primarily for the access to the Rememberance event.

Coach and drivers were fine. We have been used to one coach and one driver for the entire time. I understand the challenges preventing having one coach and driver in Oahu.

Great tour guide.

5-day Pearl Harbor on a Budget review

There was enough info to keep me fully engaged yet still allowing some wow-factor surprises during the tour.

Really nice. Thank you for the opportunity to upgrade.

Very good. We especially appreciated the fact we were picked up at our hotel (upgrade).

Navigating Honolulu during the crowded annual Pearl Harbor remembrance event would have been difficult since we didn’t know the lay of the land and the rules of engagement dealing with logistics such as timing, security, etc. Robert was on top of that.

Would have been 5 stars had we been allowed to exit the bus to pay our respects but I completely understand why it isn’t allowed.

No complaints at all. The tour manager was great. Each of our destinations was great. The Anniversary of Pearl Harbor was an experience that we will never forget. It was an honor and a privilege to meet the survivors and listen to their stories. This is a company that genuinely seems to care about each guest and their experience.

The visit to the monument was on my "bucket list".Being there on the anniversary made it even more memorable.

8-day Guam, Saipan, Tinian review

I was very happy with both hotels. The staff at both hotels were very friendly and helpful.

I would highly recommend Procom to others

This trip was more than what I was expecting. It was important to see where my Father had been. The Veterans Of Foreign War learned about my Father and presented me with a medal and certificate in appreciation of my Father’s service. My Father passed away four years ago and it was an honor for me to accept this. It was interesting to go into bunkers, air shelters and even see Sherman tanks that are still in the water.

We had a variety of foods at both locations. I was looking forward to trying Chamorro food and was able to try Parrot fish. I love seafood so I was in my glory there.

Robert took very good care of us. He was a pleasure to be around. I would tour with him again.

Ray was very knowledgeable and made our visit to Guam interesting.

Genevieve is “Miss Saipan”. She knows everything about Saipan and is very proud of her ancestors. My Father was a Corpsmen in Saipan and Tinian and she discussed and described the war in such detail you would think she was there at the time. I would give her a 5 Plus rating.

We were thoroughly satisfied this tour was excellent.

Totally satisfied.

Both were excellent hotels

This tour was top of the line. We will recommend this to friends.

It was a great. We received history lessons and enjoyed the sights and learned many things we did not know about the war on these islands.

This was a great surprise and treat to be able to order off the menu, the restaurants were all outstanding.

Always clean and our driver Jack was very prompt and courteous.

Robert was great, he was a fine young man and a pleasure to tour with. He also knew the history of the islands and offered great insight.

We enjoyed all of the sights.

Ray was outstanding, very well versed on the history and sights.

8-day Guam, Saipan, Tinian review

A more detailed itinerary of each day would have been helpful for scheduling personal activities. On the South pacific tour, we had a free afternoon and it would have been helpful to know that well in advance so I could schedule my own activities. As it was, things worked out favorably and I was able to get an excursion at the last minute but I would have liked to be able to schedule it in advance.

Both resorts were nice and located along the water. The accommodations and meals were good. No complaints.

Never had a problem.

I really enjoyed the tour as did my two teenage boys that traveled with me. I enjoyed traveling with Rob H as well as the other tour guests. Rob's flexibility in dealing with our small group was great and I really appreciated him getting us the opportunity to swim on the submerged tanks at Saipan.

I never had a bad meal on the tour and remained, fat, dumb and happy.

Jack, the driver on Saipan, was just great. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. Great man. He added a great complement to Genevieve and they were a solid team.

Rob was really great to travel with and he was very accommodating. On Saipan, he had our tour boat allow us to swim out to the submerged tanks and get our pictures taken. That was priceless and earned him the highest rating.

The Guam tour was very good.

Our tour guide and driver really packed in about everything there was to see in Saipan. Both of them were just fantastic. We had a different driver on Tinian but he was very nice and helpful, too, and our guide was great.

Ray is very knowledgeable about the events on Guam and very personable.

Genevieve is just fantastic. She's native, she's knowledgeable, she's friendly, she's hard to beat. I really enjoyed visiting with her. Jack the driver was great, too, for all of the same reasons.

friendly and responsive!

I knew what to expect!

Yes- photos of my fellow travelers along with their bios would have made getting to know them a little easier.

All the hotels were excellent. I really liked Hotel Mandetta where my balcony doors opened up to the ocean view--just incredible to be able to hear the ocean all night!

I think Charlie (and Sue!) did a fantastic job! They are both super nice, very well-organized and handled every situation extremely well! I hope I get to travel with them again soon!

The tour greatly exceeded my expectations! Every day seemed to be even better than the previous day! The sights, the food, the history, our guides, new friendships and the connection with the WW2 vets through our fellow travelers made this a very special tour. Thank You so much for such a great lifetime experience!

Great variety of meals. I especially liked the meals at the winery (OMG good and so much to choose from!). The selection of food at A. Roma Lifestyle made my head spin-- so much to choose from!

Jimmy and Akush (sp?) were very nice and super friendly! How they managed all the tight turns and crazy drivers made the trip relaxing!

This place was incredible! Our guide was perfect!

The Abbey was so beautiful!

The Polish military cemetery was awesome and touching...and the view back towards the Abbey was incredible!

Our tours were perfect! no time wasted standing in lines and our guide Max was outstanding!

The Vatican was more impressive than I could have imagined. Our guide ran the tour perfectly!

Our guide for the Bunker tour at Mussolini's home (Underground Rome?) was another favorite! Nothing better than talking to a real archeaologist who has worked some incredible sites.

Marco was like being with an Italian version of Indiana Jones. He was so enthusiastic--it was great!

The man that established the museum was so nice!

Would have liked more time in Paestum to tour the Greek Ruins.

Wow! This place was more than I imagined...and the feeling you get walking it was enhanced by our guide Veronica.

Excellent job especially when it came to getting to know our honored dead.

Veronica did a great job! She pointed out a lot of things that really made the visit incredible. Perfectly paced for a group--I really enjoyed her company!

Max (aka Maximus!) was one of the best! His tour talks were extremely well presented and very informative. I liked his book so much that I bought one! Hope to see him again!

Very good tour and she had an excellent presentation!

Adequate. Identical breakfast buffet each day was tiring.

There really isn't enough directly related to Battle of Britain to support a full week tour. The related sites added to the trip were usually interesting. Wish we had more time at some sites (like Battle if Britain Memorial museum and less at some others.

Final lunch was excellent. Breakfast and most lunches were just adequate.

Very disappointed in their WWII displays.

11-day Italian Campaign review

I constantly saw ruins of small abandoned stone buildings in the farm fields during our bus rides and I would have liked to known a general time period that these structures were abandoned, pre WW2 0r post WW2 etc.? It's no big deal and I am sure there is no one answer to this question since our local guide didn't seem to have one?

The hotel in Cassino was very nice but the air conditioning was turned off for seasonal finincal reasons. The temperature was not the problem, it was having the window open with the road noise! other wise it would have been fine. Not a big deal but I really like Procom and I am just trying to give you and honest opinion.

I saw a lot of things and places that I never would have planned on seeing but was happy to do so! I was disappointed in the actual WW2 content but in all honesty I should not have anticipated seeing many elaborate monuments or memorials etc. in a country that was defeated by the allies before they saved what was left of their asses and joined them. Bottom line, I was spoiled by my Normandy tour which I highly recommend!. That was such an awesome experience for me (having a lot of WW2 veteran friends that served there. I would recommend this tour as a great history tour which includes WW2 content.

The little out of the way places were the best, the better hotels were good to very good, but Catania was the worst, I got tired of seeing the same cold food being recycled in various forms day after day!!!

Amazing drivers!

You could skip Catania as far as I am concerned, If I want to see trash I can go to Camden NJ USA for free!

Very interesting

Nice to see one time!

Very nice, helpful and courteous and was always asking and supplying water to us Keenagers!

Nice job considering the crowds!

Very nice but nothing can top Normandy

The Plaza hotel served the same basic meal and most items were served cold.

Your service was great had problems with hotels

Would never go back to Sicilia, the farther north we went the better it got.

The best meals were served at the A. Roma hotel and even there the morning meal was usually cold eggs, etc.

Great drivers

Only one small museum city was very dirty and unimpressive.

Great Experience

Very little museum's about the war difficult to visualize the battle fields.

Enjoyed the sights but once was enough river of people couldn't stop to enjoy

MUCH more time in the Catania WWII museum and less time at the more remote, less educational sites.

Very welcoming, friendly, informative, and organized. Consistently aware of what was going on with her tour partipants and any problems or issues they were having. Very proud and commited employee of ProCom.

Marlene is friendly and sometimes informative, but she was a little sharp and flippant in her responses to some questions. Too flirty with one of the tour participants which was very distracting.

11-day Italian Campaign review

Of the four tours that I have taken, this is the least favorite. None of the beaches had memorials or markers to indicate WW2 importance. I enjoyed the ancient historical sites of Italy and very glad that I had a chance to experience them, however I thought that the tour would benefit by providing more military history and perhaps a "staff ride" of the actual path of the battle fields. More local personal inputs of information passed down by family members who actually had first hand knowledge of the actions.

A couple of the meals were subpar compared to meals served on the other tours that I have enjoyed with Procom.

The tour guide was excellent, the cemeteries were impressive, however the landing beaches were a disappointment

I was very impressed with all of the guides, something that I have come to expect of the Beyond Band of Brothers organization.

12-day London to Normandy review

The hotel in Bayeaux was very small in that I had to almost slide along the wall to that side of the bed. We had to back into the toilet to close the door. The two evening meals were not the best; bland, uninspiring food, even the apple dessert was mostly not apple.

If I had questions, I would send an e-mail and they were promptly answered. There was very good information in our bags. I had a concern about the time of our return flight at deGaulle; I sent Sue an e-mail and she said others were having the same issue so the time we left Bayeaux was moved earlier. That was so appreciated. It was easy to navigate the different steps requested under My Trips; all that in one place.

The overall tour was professional and well-planned. The stopping points all combined to tell a great story and gave such a sense of history. There is nothing that we lacked or needed; maybe just more time here or there. It was a superb tour in every way and we have been telling our family and friends how great the tour and the tour company was. We look forward to taking another tour.

The meals in the London portion were superb; delightful and different locations for lunch like the Sunday lunch - wow; a variety of meals and locations in the evening. Breakfasts at the hotel were so good with many choices as well as the two evening meals. The Bayeaux hotel breakfasts were not bad, the lunch in Arromanches was not that great for either choice; the lunch location near St Marie du Mont was very good with a fabulous location; the dinner in Bayeaux after visiting the cathedral (thank you) was very good; but the hotel dinner meals were not that great especially considering the choices we had in London. Of course, the locations were totally different but feel that the hotel could 'up their game' in their meal selection and preparation. Overall, it was very good.

The motor coach was very comfortable. It was great to be able to watch a movie while going longer distances like to Portsmouth and Bletchley Park. There was good leg room and room to store a backpack. The complimentary water was enjoyed by all.

Again, with the rain, wind, and cold, it was harder to 'feel' the sense and significance of this place of history. I liked that it wasn't touristy; it is really a sacred place where so many died.

So many monuments; each told its own story. It all was visually stunning. The museum was so interesting.

The 'old' bridge surrounded by the glider and military equipment was visually beautiful; a compelling piece of history that took place there and remembered.

We had enough time to go into the tunnels and to walk around the immense area and buildings.

Very good; it looked like people just walked away after the war. Tour guide was very knowledgable.

Just superb! We had enough time to walk around the grounds, into the mansion and huts; time to read the displays, etc. It was a highlight of the tour.

So immense but we had time to go into all of the hangars and smaller building displays. Lunch at the cafeteria was great; good food and atmosphere.

Wished we would have had a bit more time but the tour guide was really great bringing to life some of the men who are buried there. It was a visually beautiful place but quite a somber feel. The ground were beautifully kept; we thanked staff who were outside working. Such a beautiful and peaceful resting place.

So much history that took place there; history was wellpreserved. The musuem was really great, a tribute to a great war leader.

Such a sense of history in this house; felt that the map room kept the feel of the 1940's and what was accomplished there.

Really a wonderful and interesting museum. The location is fitting because of the significance to the entire Operation Overlord. Again, the tour guide was so knowledgable. The tapestry panels were stunning.

We wished he would have been available all three days, not just two. He is a walking encyclopedia of information.

It was such a powerful place; reminded me of Arlington. The tour guide was so informative. The location is stunning. We were there for Taps; the veterans standing around us snapped to attention as Taps was played and the flag lowered. The tears just flowed.

Sadly, it was pouring rain with heavy wind and cold so didn't get to 'enjoy' that somber location. But the tour guide was very informative while we were sheltering in the bunker. He had a lot of information and a lot of pictures to show. I read more after we returned home.

Arromances is a lovely place; again, so much history here. Liked the remnants of the Mulberry Harbor and the sense of history all around the harbor and grounds. The cinema experience is a stunning experience but maybe too much going on all around to truly enjoy all that was showing.

The German bunkers really made this location come alive; what the landing troops faced. The museum was really good; the river of poppies is visually stunning. The Canadians are proud of their place in D-Day history.

The location of the batteries and bunkers really showed its significance to D-Day and beyond. It is very haunting to walk around this rural area; the scene of significance to the time.

By the third day, Barry had warmed up and became more outgoing. Sue was a hard act to follow. There were 38-39 of us; not so obsessive about counting heads. He was approachable but feel that he will grow into his role.

Stunning location; the story of the bagpiper by our tour guide made me look up his story after returning home. The memorials were appropriate and somber.

So glad we were able to see both St Maire du Mont and St Mere Eglise; so much history in both locations. We loved seeing the American flag flying so prominently. The churches were glorious. The airborne museum was really, really good.

We were given a lot of time, too much really, at this location. The museum has a lot to see; enjoyed going upstairs to look at the displays.

Sue was the absolute best. She so obviously cared about each of us and was relentless in making sure we were fed and comfortable. She inspired us to be on time each and every time we had to be on the bus; some people called her Mom which is indeed a compliment. She was forever counting heads to ensure we were all where we should be.

Rob was clearly comfortable and enjoyable to listen to.

It was a beautiful sunny and blue sky day. We saw so many London landmarks on the journey.

We didn't have time to go to the upper level. The lower level of the museum was superb; the view of the Channel was stunning.

He was late both mornings which started things off on the wrong foot. On the second day, he went off the road to the shoulder but recovered. That was jarring. He did not seem personable.

Very professional looking and in nature. He acted competently and gave the feeling he was professional in all aspects. The trip to Paris was enjoyable and he expertly navigated the city to the airport.

He expertly navigated the city streets and beyond in spite of where the steering wheel was and the counter traffic system in England.

11-day Italian Campaign review

Overall impression was excellent. It was very special to me since my dad participated in the Italian Campaign. I would certainly recommend the tour.

Outstanding drivers!

Since both groups were together for the walking tour, it was difficult for all of us to stay together. I would have liked to have heard more about the buildings and monuments along the way.

Again, having both groups together made it difficult to keep up with the guide.

Too crowded to really appreciate the Vatican and it was hard to keep up with our guide, who, I thought, was somewhat irreverent for the place visited.

Thank you for allowing time for me to visit my dad's friend's grave.

11-day Italian Campaign review

All the hotels were more than adequate

I recognize that Italian food is a bit heavy, so I would not be overly critical. And I would also complement the food concept of the Rome I recognize that Italian food if rather heavy, so I would not criticize the food overall. However my weight could use lighter food. The Roma hotel food was fabulous.

They were incredible

The place is over the top

While there is nothing you can do about it, the crowds were so large it took away from the experience.

Ditto to the above

I have a lot of experience with group travel and Camille’effort, knowledge, effort and manner was among the best leaders I have experienced. Give her a raise.

She was outstanding

11-day Italian Campaign review

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

I think we got lots of information and were well informed.

Since this was our second tour with the company, we had a good idea of how it would work.

Accommodations were highly satisfactory.

I have been on two tours now, and am considering another one in the future. Enough said.

We got to see parts of Italy that not many in the United States visits. It is run by a wonderful company who is customer oriented.

The food was wonderful.

Great work. I would never attempt to drive on the streets in a small car let alone a large motor coach.

Museum was very interesting. The old town walking tour was interesting and fun.

Had no idea this place existed until signed up on this tour.

Wanted to see this since I began studying about the battle.

It gave me an new perspective on the battles in this area. Seeing the terrain in person, and walking it, increased my education about the campaign.

I have been spoiled by the museums in Normandy.

Fascinating.

It has caused me to study about Mussolini further.

Awe inspiring, over whelming, and a little disturbing all rolled into one. How a church can become a state in its self is frighting. Hubris on display.

Loved seeing the terrain and defensive works.

Camille was the best. She worked hard, was extremely pleasant, and kept us well informed. I would love to go on another tour with her.

Highly entertaining and informative.

Great tour.

He is very knowledgeable and enjoyed his tour. One comment, he made a statement that the Allies used minorities (Poles, New Zealanders, etc.) and the United States in Vietnam (African Americans) as a form of population control which is absolutely unfounded. Asinine statement that certainly could have offended a Caucasian Vietnam veteran we had on the tour.

Wonderful guide. What a knowledge of Rome!

Enjoyed her tour very much. I am planning on using her again when we are in Rome in May, 2019.

Another beautiful national treasure for the United States.

That's why I was here, to see where my uncle served in the Second World War.

Did not disappoint.

She seemed a little scattered.

Gave a lot of good information.

Good tour guide. Lacked a little information on battles in the area (Rapido River).

11-day Italian Campaign review

Good, easy and efficient communication.

Cassino Hotel was awful, but I suspect there aren't many choices in the area. Savoy Beach could have been great, if the a/c had worked. Catania Hotel was adequate, but the city is a little run down, economically depressed and industrial. Are there any nicer cities in Sicily to run the tours from? Messina? Palermo? A Roma was very nice! Best hotel we stayed at. Extended my stay there by four days and it was well worth it. Also had some of the best food and the shuttle buses saved a ton of money on cabs. Italian cabbies are thieves...lol.

You guys always do a great job.

Best of Tour: Rome, Pompeii, Abby of Monte Casino and San Pietro.

Food was not as bad as England. Some meals were great! ARoma had a solid selection and good quality. The restaurant where we sat in a big semi-circle was a great meal. Excellent people. It was the place that had all the animals and peacocks. The hotel we ate at in Catania (other groups Hotel) actually served something bad. I had very slight case of food poising there. Luckily, I stayed away from the one fish dish that got others sick. Most of us avoided that dish. I think most people were a little disappointed with Sicily.

Hour wasted on tractors. Should have a shirt orientation and talk, then let people explore on there own. Wonderful museum!

Always awesome! :)

Excellent!

He was a good guide, but we could have skipped the first hour of tractors. Also, he took up the entire time we were there. Would have been nice to explore the museum at our own pace. Seriously? An hour about tractors and farm equipment? He was knowledable and a real gentleman. But his tour was too long and half our time was wasted.

Great guy. Knowledgeable and spoke well. He never stopped talking all day. He put most of my professors to shame lecturing that long. Not a bad thing. He really wanted to give us as much information as possible. Great guide! A+

I really liked Marlene. She was knowledgeable, sharpe witted and had a sense of humor. Some of our group didn't care for her. I thought she did a first rate job! Both days!

Was surprised. ABMC people are usually really on the ball. The two ladies didn't seem very well prepared for our visit. Was shocked when they said "it's only done as a private ceremony" when we arrived. They did a good job but not for an ABMC Cemetary.

11-day Italian Campaign review

It's always been top notch service with a "smile". I've never been made to feel like any question was too silly to ask.

Catania Hotel: The accommodations were good, but the food offered on the buffet dinners was the same each night. Most of it was bland and dry. Paestum and Cassino Hotels: Accommodations and food were good. My major complaint was the fact that both hotels had their air conditioners turned off. Rome hotel: Everything was fantastic here! Accommodations were excellent and the food was amazing!!

It couldn't be any better. What a pleasure it is to travel with this company. Good people, good tours.

Very nice tour. Would have like to have covered a little more on the participation of individual American and Italian soldiers. Italy is so beautiful. Would have liked to have spent one more day in Rome to cover the sites. With the relatively short duration of the tour and the vast amount of subject matter that's covered I believe Procom has done a very good job planning and organizing this tour. Great value for the money.

Nearly all the food served during the tour was outstanding!! The only mediocre meals were the dinners served at the hotel in Catania.

Very good! Wifi was weak or non-existent at times (and I'm not referring to the periods when we were in the mountains ... those times were understandable).

Amazing.

Beautiful!

Really enjoyed this!

Good stuff, but felt rushed to take it all in.

Felt rushed. May have tried to cover too much is such a short period of time.

Pretty good English. Was knowledgeable about the subject.

Max did an all around great job. Really enjoyed our time with him.

Spoke excellent English. Very knowledgeable. But just a little snarky.

Beautiful!

Wish we could have taken some time here to visit the temples.

very efficient

having the website with info is a good idea

more information about the hotel, what services are available at each one

Wifi was poor at the 1st 2 hotels and nearly useless, rooms were worn at the 1st hotel (torn carpet, stained walls)

the tours were packed with sites

Covered a lot, would prefer more concentration on WWII. Accommodations were not all 4 star hotels but that just may be the way Italy is. Need more food selections. Need to give have this filled out at during the tour as I cannot remember details after the tour.

could not eat the selected meal at most places and substitutes were provided but it took longer. food quality in Italy was fair at best. Should give a menu with a few options the day before for the next day rather then pick one option for all and expect everyone will like it

Drivers were fantastic dealing with the Italian dirvers

the 1st 2 museum about the history of the area are not interesting, stick to the WWII parts

the headphones were not always clear and would breakup a lot. Guide would move ahead of group and would loose the connection. Guides need to slow the pace or make frequent stops as the group would spread out.

keep pace the group can keep up with

good knowledge

eliminate the 1st 2 section of the Orme museum and concentrate in the WWII parts

very knowledgeable

headphones are not the best, not clear and break-up and need to keep a pace the entire group can keep up.

slow the pace

a lot of knowledge, clear speaker

needed to slow down some

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

Both guide Charlie and driver Zoltan were superb.

Charlie was full of fun facts both having to do with and beyond the subject matter.

Good value for the money, superb personnel.

He was very helpful at all times, and was an amazing parker!

Too much "new" type, should have gone to the Airborne museum.

Again, a cemetery is a cemetery.

The guide "Eric" needs to bone up on his facts. He said that MacArthur, once in the 29th Division that liberated part of the camp, went from a Colonel to a General from 1939 to 45. Though he was right about MacArthur's affiliation with the 29th Division in WWI, it was Eisenhower who went from a Col. to Gen. in 6 years. MacArthur was already a general in 1932----when he was Chief of Staff! I didn't want to embarass him, so I didn't say anything.

Eric was very informative on this part.

A bit melodramatic at times----would have been just right for HS kids, but not adults.

A cemetary is.....a cemetary.

The guide for all these was particularly good.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Great, but 10 hours of history lessons per day was a little tiring... I would have liked a little "off vox" time to just let things soak in... or spend 30 minutes doing the gift shop/bathroom breaks at the locations.

Zoltan was amazing! He could navigate the tightest spaces and I always felt safe

Would have liked to have time to go into the gift shop there

Good to see the Seigfried Line, but a lot of travel for little to see -- but I did learn a lot, so I don't regret it

Juno, Sword, and Gold were good to see, but I would tell others to skip them

8-day Battle of Britain review

Always friendly and helpful and enthusiastic service when you call the office!

Just the right balance. Love the fact that you can access everything via MY TRIP on the website. If you get stuck or have a question there is always someone to talk to via chatting or by phone.

The hotel seemed a bit "tired". The carpets seemed to be worn in areas, the color scheme especially of the carpets made the place look dirty. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The same for the cleaning staff. If, for example, my wife and I needed an extra towel or a bar of soap, the gal working our floor made those items available to us. For a hotel of this calibre, the restaurant/lounge area was small. While the breakfast was good, the buffet dinners we had there were below par. We had three buffet dinners there as a group and the menus were nearly identical. If we are to have a group meal, it would be better if it could be done in a private room. For example, on the meal for the last night, Susie wanted to speak to the group, it was noisy and it was difficult to hear her. My wife and I stayed in London an extra 5 days on our own. We moved from the Novotel Wembley to the Novotel Waterloo. That hotel was much better, larger restaurant/lounge area, looked cleaner, etc. I wondered if the "wear and tear" that I noted for the Waterloo was because it is so close to Wembley Stadium and the hotel gets crowds coming in just for events. Was this hotel location selected because it made it easier for the bus to get in and out of London for our various day trips or because it was the best deal for BBOB?

I loved this tour. There are always glitches on any tour, those that we encountered were handled very well, so much so that we hardly noticed that there was any issue. I would recommend this tour. We have been on 3 tours now and I always give high marks to BBOB when discussing possible tours with friends.

Too many buffet dinners at the hotel especially since each had a nearly identical menu. See my comments made earlier about the hotel. With all of the fine restaurants in London, we certainly could have had at least one more meal outside of the hotel. If we must have 2 or 3 buffet dinners at the same place, then the menu must change. The service was mediocre. When items ran out, we had to ask to get more. For the outside meals, overall they were good. The one evening meal that was lasagna was the strangest lasagna that I have ever had. While tasty, it was more of a thick soup than traditional lasagna. No bread at an Italian meal? No salad? Susie did an excellent job of guiding the servers to make sure that each person got his/her meal in a timely manner. When there was a choice, her guidance and assistance to the servers was greatly appreciated. For the box lunch two comments: One, give us a choice, do not assume that everyone likes the same thing. It wold not be too difficult to announce the day before "Tomorrow we will have a box lunch. Please check whether you would like …". Two, two sandwiches? Too much food. My wife and I took one box lunch and split it.

The only difficulty that I had here was getting oriented to the grounds, figuring out what was where, what I wanted to see, and how to get there after the underground tours.

Excellent lecture/demo on the Enigma.

It was a little confusing to have a Churchill Museum in the middle of the Churchill War Rooms. That is not the fault of BBOB, it is the fault of those planning/developing the museum. The Churchill War Rooms and the Churchill Museum need to be logistically separate from one another. Side-by-side but not one enveloping the other. Perhaps an orientation prior to entering the Churchill War Rooms explaining how the museum and war rooms are laid out relative to one another would be helpful.

While I enjoyed the Royal military police museum, I wanted more WWII. The guy who gave the lecture in the map room was excellent but he was forced to cut his presentation short. His frustration at having to give "just a brief presentation" was evident. I wanted to learn more and it was apparent that he could give us more information. So while I was excited to visit this important location that was key to the Allied planning of D-Day I was also disappointed.

I am a "history nut", love museums, historical sites. I always want more time at any museum/site. So this comment applies to all of the sights/events below! I wanted more time at each sight but I also realized that that is not always possible given the difficulties of scheduling each day. So, given the tight schedule we were on, ample time was given, I never felt rushed.

Very professional, friendly, helpful, always willing to take questions, engage in conversation. I still find it hard to believe that this was her first full tour on her own!

Enjoyable and fun. Lots of background information about London "then and now".

The only reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 is that we seemed to have to wait longer than expected to board. There seemed to be a glitch that was beyond the control of Susie. Once on board the sightseeing trip was very enjoyable. Sometimes, however, it was hard to figure out which building the commentator was describing.

8-day Battle of Britain review

People are always available to talk with directly, but the MY TRIP website works well, also.

The room was average. It was a good size, but the carpet was dirty as were the carpets in the hallways. The toilet never worked right even after someone came up and worked on it. We had to ask for more soap several times because they never left extra even when we only had a small chip left. There was nothing left on the counter except one hand soap, one shower gel bottle, and one shampoo---skimpy offerings. Food was average, not bad, but not great by any means. We had three buffet dinners at this restaurant (which I felt was two too many), and two of them were the same menu. This does not say much for the restaurant (or perhaps the BBOB person who ordered the meals?). The personnel here were friendly, though, and helpful.

It was not your best tour in terms of the hotel and food, but I can't complain about the itinerary. I would recommend it with cautions as to "lots of planes" :-) as noted elsewhere and in terms of the "average" caliber of the hotel room and food at times.

Most meals were mediocre. Where to begin...three buffet dinners at the hotel and two were identical---terrible. The food included in the buffet was nothing to brag about. Sometimes butter ran out, or bread, etc. and you would have to ask to have more brought out. The meals at the shopping mall---average at best. The Italian dinner consisted of a bowl of soupy lasagne AND NOTHING ELSE!! No bread, no salad, nothing to accompany the main course. That was a joke. At the shopping mall, the tables were set, but when we arrived, it took "forever" for the waiters just to take drink orders. These meals were not great. I might as well have been in the U.S. eating at a chain restaurant. The Blue Boar in London was WONDERFUL! What a treat. The lunch in the Dover area was nice: bright restaurant, good service, good food (fish, soup, etc.). The box lunch: PLEASE offer a choice of sandwich to sign up for ahead of that day. Too much food in the box lunch, also. Lots of waste; my husband and I split one lunch which was still almost too much food. There was another tiny place, located between two museums or something, which was very old and we were crammed in and they had a buffet of odd things. Peculiar; and I remember the chair seats were nasty. We survived, but I think BBOB could do better. The food on this trip was not your best effort compared to other BBOB tours we have been on.

This was a great experience. The tours were interesting, and we had enough time to explore everything.

Another wonderful place to visit. The guided tour part and free time was great.

Another awesome piece of this trip. An oral introduction to what was there would have helped me make better choices on what to visit after our Enigma presentation. Perhaps right before the Enigma presentation we could have gotten a 5 minute orientation to this place so we could mark our maps as to what we wanted to make sure we did not miss once left on our own.

I really liked this place, especially because we could get some walking in and also were out in the country. I felt we needed to have understood the layout of things a bit better prior to being able to wander about at our own pace. I think we had a bit of an introduction here, but maybe we needed to have someone orally emphasize what was in the area vs just give us a map. I don't mean you need to lead us by the hand, but just spend a bit of time orienting everyone before releasing them to pick and choose which hangars to visit.

This was a very enjoyable part of the trip. I did feel the guide enjoyed listening to herself tell stories a bit too much. The stories were fine, but she dramatically dragged them out. A few of us did not get enough time to see the Visitor's Center because we went into the office area by mistake---I would have thought it was just me except that I ran into others looking for a good sign to tell them to go into "this door" not "that door"!

Super, although crowded, but that is not anything you can control. Might be good if the BBOB tour guide pointed out to people ahead of going in that the museum is in the center and not part of the "war rooms."

This would have been better if the man who talked about the D-Day map had been given more time to present. I enjoyed the Royal Military Police Museum although I think some people did not understand its significance and may have run through it or not even gone through it. The overall history and current status of Southwick Park was and is confusing to me. While I enjoyed the Military Police Museum, I was confused as to why it was there in relationship to the Southwick House and the D-Day map room, etc. Each element was fine, but how was this all connected together historically and currently? I have to admit, even reading about this place online can confuse you.

Great.

I enjoyed this museum.

She was a superstar. For someone with not much experience doing this work, she was well organized, friendly, and smart.

Great. I especially liked that he talked about London today as well as talked about the history. If these tours were only about detailed history of the particular area of study being emphasized, I would not "buy a ticket." The extras included really round out the experience for those of us who are not hard core history buffs.

So glad you had us do this tour. It was a very nice way to get an overall review of London. Could this have been done on the first day, though, and been more effective?

Too many planes for me, but nothing wrong with this museum overall. When we talked to people on other BBOB tours who had taken this particular trip, they warned us that "you better like planes if you go on the Battle of Britain tour," and that was an accurate comment. Then again, you really had quit a lot of variety packed into this trip and we also did get outside of London and see some of the countryside.

This was great!

Hotel Melba owners made the group feel very welcome

very good very informative about the subject matter

needed more choices in Normandy

need more video screens

very knowledgeable but very difficult to understand

Extremely knowledgeable but too fast to follow at times. also walked too fast

Seeing the tapestry was a real treat. Needs to be a routine part of the tour.

Much too windy to go out to the Pointe. Would like to have done this another day.

Utah Beach-wish we had seen the gun emplacements at Brecourt Manor & would like to tour Brecourt Manor

Outstanding tour guide

He was the best. The American Cemetery at Normandy was closed due to weather on our scheduled day. He worked to reschedule the tour to allow us to go on another day. It was one of the highlights of the trip and one we would have missed were it not for Barry.

wonderful tour guide. Barry went out of his way to change up our schedule to allow for visiting the American Cemetery that was closed on the day it was originally scheduled.

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

I did most of it on line. The website was easy to navigate.

The information provided was comprehensive. If I have one piece of advise I have for future travelers, it is to pack as light as possible. The rooms we stayed in were nice but smaller than hotels in the US. We were notified in our literature but it doesn't hurt to emphasize this.

Our group was grateful when American style coffee was available.

This was our first trip to Europe. The tour covered many of the areas of interest we wanted to see. The tour director did a thorough job explaining where and when we should meet. We were very please with the overall experience.

The bus was comfortable. One more additional video screen would have been nice. I had a difficult time looking over the taller passenger to view the screen on the side and was not able to view the front screen from my position near the back of the bus.

We all loved our tour manager. He was knowledgeable and accessible.

The tour met all of my expectations. There was never a time when we did not know what was expected of us as a tour group. The tour description was accurate and I knew what to expect. We covered a lot of ground!

Hopefully, future buses will have recharge of phone/tablet capability. The driver was top notch and very professional.

A bit difficult to understand at times, but did a good job helping us understand the role the barracks played in the war.

Incredible guide.

Another great guide. Handled the group very well and addressed questions in a professional manner at all times.

Hopefully, his vast knowledge has been documented for the future. A true gentleman.

Detailed information provided. Very professionally done.

Fortunately, we were able to visit here as the cemetery was closed the previous day due to wind damage.

A very impressive sight!

Barry did a great job keeping everyone on task. The two additonal staff added to the efficiency of the group. Each added significantly to the tour experience.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Natasha was very informative answering questions regarding airfare and travel insurance.

After booking the tour I really didn't have anymore questions, I just had to wait for the date to arrive.

It must be a European custom but at the Hotel Novotel Bayeux housekeeping simply pulled the cover over the top of the pillow I used each day. I didn't expect clean sheets everyday but making the bed would have given a fresher look. Just an observation I was well pleased with everything.

General impressions is summed up with WOW. Great tour I would and will recommend to all my friends. I really think that Procom is a very organized company and pays attention to details. I assume it's from reading the surveys and fixing as many of the complaints as you can. No fixing here I think you found the right people and tours.

My needs were exceeded at each and every meal regardless of where they were.

We had driver Zolton so I did not catch his first name. Like Barry he deserves more than 5 stars. I really could not have gone on the streets with a bus like he did. Many time I thought he was not going to make a turn and next thing you know he's through the turn and moving forward. Great job and a hats off to him.

It's out of your control, but the American flag at the entrance to Omaha Beach was torn, tattered, and off the top ring support was torn as well.

Henri and Bruno both were walking encyclopedias. Knowing Henri was a child during these events made his comments more personal. Late in the tour I had information overload and will no way remember all the dates, names, and numbers he provided. Great job and keep him active.

Our local tour guide, Bruno, was a walking encyclopedia. Late in the tour I had information overload and will no way remember all the dates, names, and numbers he provided. Great job and keep him active.

A special thank you for having the associated military personnel in the group to present a wreath. I felt honored to be part of the ceremony.

Our local tour guide, Steve, was a walking encyclopedia. Late in the tour I had information overload and will no way remember all the dates, names, and numbers he provided. Great job and keep him active.

Steve was a walking encyclopedia. Late in the tour I had information overload and will no way remember all the dates, names, and numbers he provided. Great job and keep him active.

It was exciting having a local who was just a child during all of the events during WWII. Henri was also very knowledgeable and was great explaining all of the places we visited.

Christophe was a walking encyclopedia. Late in the tour I had information overload and will no way remember all the dates, names, and numbers he provided. Great job and keep him active.

Our local tour guide, Christoph, was a walking encyclopedia. Late in the tour I had information overload and will no way remember all the dates, names, and numbers he provided. Great job and keep him active.

If there were more stars to give him I would. Barry was very organized having a backup plan when we needed it. He made the trip run like a well oiled machine and I hope he will do the next one I decide to do.

Did not make it to walk on the beach due to construction being performed right behind the monument.

25-day London to Berlin review

All my questions and concerns were addressed in a timely manner.

The whole countdown on My Tour was a a great help.

The Maritim Hotel Berlin was by far the best.

The service provided was first class.

I think next time, I’ll take a shorter tour. But I plan to tour again.

We had great food for the entire trip.

The drivers did a fantastic job. The coaches were short on USB ports for charging.

More time here would have been nice.

I really liked the town of Bastogne.

I would have liked to have time to visit HMS Victory and HMS Warrior.

A stop at the Commonwealth Cemetary would have been better.

Other than desiring a little more free time, I thought the tour was terrific. And that comes from some one who really is not a WWII history buff.

Were very good after we left Bayeaux.

Surprised that the bus did not electrical charging outlets. It was modern otherwise but missing this one important feature.

Not the tour's fault. We simply had a miserable day weather-wise.

The pace was too fast and many of the sites were no longer the way they were when used by the Nazis. Can't expect that so why bother?

So knowledgeable.

Good man.

I can only imagine that the only reason we stopped here was for the store that sold authentic WWII memorabilia. Otherwise a waste of time.

Scary. I assume Peter was the first driver in Normandy.

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

This company was wonderful to work with. From the office paperwork to the on tour guide and bus driver, they were always available and helpful.

I think it would be helpful to somehow list that free time is not at the hotel, but at the location you are touring for the day. I thought that free time meant we would be at our hotel and could do laundry etc. What it meant was that you could shop or site see from the tour location. Not a big deal, but it would clarify.

All hotels were wonderful.

This was so awesome. This was our first tour in our life so we had no prior experience, but we had heard some other horror stories. We were so happy with our experience as they were prepared, and the quality was great.

Awesome

He is very good - and the personal involvement in the war as a child was such a nice touch.

I did the tour other than the gas chamber. The speaker was hard to hear.

It would be good to let people know the length of time it takes to get thru the tunnel and up the elevator. We scheduled our bus down and then spent much of our time in line waiting.

Difficult to hear. I will say - such a sad place and emotional to visit. He didn't interact like the other guides. The others seemed pleased that they were teaching, whereas Steve was more here is the info.

Camille was awesome!

He is an excellent guide - so much knowledge.

I would have preferred something closer to a town. The bar was limited in offering. The room heat/cooling was inconsistent (our travel partners were told that there thermostat was locked, but ours appeared to work). The breakfast staff was fantastic. One day the cleaning staff forgot to make the bed (I.e. cleaning inconsistent)

We were rushed due to weather and schedule.

25-day London to Berlin review

No hesitation about giving a five star rating. I wasn't aware of one problem during the trip. Everything went off like clock-work. The tour team was at the top of their game

The information provided was thorough and timely. I read all the materials multiple times and felt fully prepared for the trip.

The only real problem with the hotel in Nuremberg was that it was uncomfortably hot. No way to regulate the temperature. Thermastat did nothing. Opening windows did not help at all. Such a nice room bot be so uncomfortable.

Have already recommended to several friends and family, with the condition they understand the tour is jam-packed with activity and learning opportunities and is NOT a tour for relaxation.

I was very surprised at how good everything was, even the buffet meals.

Excellent! Always watching out for us. Always thinking ahead. Appeared very interested in knowing that we were enjoying the tour.

Excellent. Her life experiences will be something I think about for a long time.

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

While I have enjoyed the book of newsletter articles we received at the beginning of the trip, I would have preferred a booklet of articles/information specific to the sites we were visiting. It was such a whirlwind trip, with so much information crammed into one day (only 15 minutes at Omaha beach!) that having it in writing to refer to later would have been helpful. I understand that the local guides for each trip might be different and of course attendees will have different questions on each tour, but an overview for each site would have been nice. I would much rather have that than a book full of articles about places I hadn't visited.

We covered A LOT of ground in just 7 days (I'm not counting the first and last days of the tour). I think I would have like to have less stops in Normandy and so we could have more time at each stop. (And yes, I DO know that you have a 5-day Normandy tour.) This would be a great tour for someone who wants a little more flexibility in their budget and lunch/dinner options but doesn't want to plan an entire tour themselves.

I don't think it was specified anywhere in the materials we received that there would not be wi-fi on the "budget tour". It would have also been nice to have additional monitors for watching videos/films. I understand that placement for the two we had & why there weren't more, but maybe some could be added that folded up when not in use. That being said, our driver was AWESOME. There were times that we were holding our breath, and would have bet that he wouldn't be able to make it through some of those narrow streets - but he did.

DEFINITELY not enough time here.

I think Bastogne was my favorite stop on the whole tour. I knew virtually nothing about the battle there until we visited.

The personal stories shown throughout the museum along with the presentations made the most impact on me.

The cemetery superintendent was wonderful - excellent presentation. I liked the stories about the people buried at the cemetery (the nurse planning to meet her sister in Paris but never made it), only woman buried at the cemetery.

Such a somber place. I learned the difference between concentration and extermination camps. I also didn't know that the prisoners were forced to work in local factories. The guide was a bit brusque and made some comments that could have offended some people, like pointing to a woman in our group and telling her that she would not have lasted long in the camp based on the shoes that she was wearing.

Beautiful place and we were fortunate to have beautiful weather. Not enough time; we had to choose between going up to Eagle's Nest or staying at the visitor center. With that being our only activity that day, we could have stayed a little bit longer. Even though we were all road weary and tired of being in a bus at that point, another hour would not have made any difference in our schedule.

Jean Luc was a good tour guide but his thick accent made him hard to understand at times.

William was very personable and knowledgeable. His theatrical reenactments of some of the speeches we talked about were entertaining.

For me, this was one of the most impactful experiences of the trip. Seeing the live footage of the men coming off the boats at Utah & Omaha beaches really brought home what those men experienced that day.

All hotels were excellent, food was excellent, staff friendly and helpful to non German speaking visitors.

This was my first tour and I am extremely satisfied with the entire company. Debra Watkins was very helpful in helping me get pre days in Munich and extra days in Berlin. The My trip website is very easy to use. Contacting Procom was easy from the beginning to the end. I will highly recommend Procom to all my friends. Thank you for a very educational and smooth running tour.

Fabulous, perfectly organized, and yes I would definitely recommend your tours.

Wonderful variety, catered to those with dietary restrictions, fresh and healthy.

The tour guide was fabulous, very knowledgeable.

Eva was fabulous! She was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, patient, and I believe, went the extra mile many times if anyone had a special need. She was enthusiastic, loved her job, very energetic and fun to be with.

The tour was very good. There was a lot of interesting facts about the history of the area. Everything was handled very efficiently. We would recommend the tour to anyone interested in history.

The motor coaches need to have Wi-Fi and at the very least chargers.

It was very crowded when we were there, much time was spent waiting in lines. It was supposed to be a lunch stop but we did not have time to eat lunch. And then we had a 2 Hour drive back to our hotel.

Very helpful

Excellent

Would liked more free time at some of the sights but understand we were trying to see much in a short time.

Mr D was a very pleasant person to have on the tour. was very patient with the group

was sorry we forgot about this option as heard it was excellent

Felt guide spent too much time on his agenda and opinions and not enough time for participants to walk around museum on their own.

had been there before so did not need much time there. Others truly enjoyed the visit

Excellent and tried to involve people in dialog which made it more interesting.

Were behind schedule because of traffic so made for long day

Excellent! tried to be in contact with all in the group and willing to answer any questions. would take another tour from him

Spoke too soft for most of the bus and seemed to direct his information to a few rather than all. Think he is very knowledgeable but not able to project that to group.

they were very clean and had enough room. Better than most European hotels.

All were first class places which we enjoyed

Very good. Might be good to have some meals together other than breakfast. Would cut down decision making time and again a chance to meet more people.

Would have been nice to have people rotate seats to afford an opportunity to meet all on the tour.

Too much time taken by guide on items not relevant to the camp. More time should have been given to the museum itself.

Well done...knowledgeable....spoke to the group.

12-day London to Normandy review

I don't know how you prepare someone with the intense travel schedule involved. I/we wanted to see everything on the schedule and loved it but we were absolutely worn out at the end of each day. This was our first experience with a coach tour of any kind and it was an eye opener. This is not a negative comment. Could have used a day of rest or an added day - spread it out? Hey, bottom line, we loved it.

Even as exhausting as it was, I would do it all over again! This was something I had on "my bucket list"! I NEEDED to visit Normandy to thank and honor our veterans for allowing us the future we have. That being said, your coordinators and guides were so knowledgeable and personal. They painted a historical picture of the times and events that took place with their narrative. If someone really wants an in depth look at this period in history, this is the tour I would and will recommend. Thank you Procom, thank you Sue and Robert and all the others!

OMG! Great drivers!

We were able to meet an airborne vet. I think the 101st. WOW!

I'm waiting for his book! If he ever writes one. Such great emphasis on the individual service men and women. Loved this gentleman.

Had the honor of meeting a British vet. Very emotional for both of us. So few left.

Where to begin. If Sue was the "mother hen", Robert was the father. With Robert we got 3 managers for the price of one. This made it SO much more fun! Loved them! I wish them all the best in their futures!

Everyone was referring to her as "our mother hen". She was fantastic. Kept us together and organized. Had answers to any questions we had. Loved her!

SO knowledgeable about so much. Great guy!

Everything went perfectly, I couldn't have hoped for a better tour!

Everything was laid out in good fashion, and made perfectly clear to us.

All of the hotels were great, we couldn't ask for much better than we got. The Pillows were a little lacking, though.

We loved it! Although this was our first tour with anyone, I'd say it is well worth picking! Good cost worth, in-depth tours of areas, and wonderful Tour Managers and Tour Guides!

Bruno was funny and very nice! He'd be great to travel around Europe with.

Milan was a great tour manager. He was funny, kept us occupied during longer travels, kept us well informed about the areas and times, and was generally fun to be around!

Alex was a very kind and well-spoken gentleman. I'd love to have him as a guide again!

Every detail is planned for.

This tour allowed me to experience the places I have only read about. I was impressed at the honor given to all the servicemen who lost their lives overseas. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Fascinating to hear an eye witness account of the Occupation.

Would have liked to participate but too much walking for one day (after Dachau and Oktoberfest - two very different experiences).

Beautiful scenery but wish more details were given on the house once up in the Nest.

Knowledgeable but difficult to hear.

Camille was professional yet very personable and accommodating. Great job Camille!

Always available for any questions and returned calls promptly

Impressed with all the info provided under My Trip

Hotel staff at each hotel were very accommodating

Every need was taken care of. We were unsure of where we would eat because meals were not included but the suggestions were close to the hotels we stayed at and we also found some new ones. Glad to have breakfast included with the price of the package, very convenient.

The tour was intense both emotionally and physically. There is so much to see and experience, its difficult to take it all in. We needed down time so elected not to participate in the museums. I thought the brochure said there was internet on the bus but it was not available as we traveled. The hotels we stayed at were far better than I anticipated but would have liked to stay closer to sights in Munich so we didn't do so much travel. I would especially recommend this tour because all the museums were not included in the price nor were our meals. It was a worry at first, but we were able to eat on our own where and when we wanted without a mass of people all trying to eat at once. It was a true European experience. Also appreciated the rest stops every couple hours to stretch, snack, etc. Overall, it was everything I anticipated and much more! The experience was enhanced because of Camille, Charley, all the tour guides, and the pre-planning and execution of details. I would definitely recommend the WWII On A Budget Tour.

The bus was always clean and it was comfortable. Charley did an amazing job navigating many narrow roads, parking spots, and driving the Autobahn...I felt safe with his driving skill. Allowed me to stay on the bus when I didn't think I could walk anymore. So accommodating to drive us back to the hotel after Oktoberfest rather than doing the Third Reich Tour or staying at Oktoberfest as we thought we may have to. It was fun sharing time with him.

Easy to understand, appreciated his eye witness account

Henry was so informative as an eye witness at the time...really appreciated his input from a 10 year old's point of view.

After using the red boxes, it was disappointing to not have them. It was very difficult to hear the tour guide as he turned his head side to side...missed alot of what he was saying about the unspeakable horrors that happened here.

I didn't do the tour because my feet were worn out and didn't think I could handle it physically. I heard though that it was a great tour.

Absolutely beautiful scenery but not nearly enough time. This was well worth the bus rides to get there. After waiting in line to get up to the top and waiting for my daughter to climb to the top, we didn't have time to eat.

Steve was easy to understand but without the red boxes it was difficult to hear him, especially as he turned his head side to side to include everyone in his talk leaving us to fill in the blanks. He seemed to know his subject matter though. Really do appreciate those red boxes. Maybe use the audio provided by the camp?

Camille goes above and beyond providing for her tour group. She is very knowledgeable and personable as well. We were thankful for her smiling face every morning as we boarded the bus. She truly is an asset to your organization. To my surprise, she remembered it was my birthday and sang Happy Birthday to me in her native tongue, Hungarian after which the bus sang and wishes me birthday wishes. That was very special to me and my family. She had so many great suggestions everyplace we went.

Easy to understand and listen to - he was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge! Kept you wanting for more.

Very moving to be there for the ceremony of flag lowering. Impressive to see the round pebbles in the monument where the soldiers walked

Red boxes are absolutely a must to hear everything Christoph had to say. He is a wealth of information during our time with him. So easy to understand and listen to.

Such an interesting story of which there are so many unheard stories of what happened during that time

So awesome to learn more about the paratrooper landing while being attacked by the Germans.

Very large rooms accommodated 2 people comfortably especially for Europe. Very pleased.

I liked the fact that everything was arranged and ran smoothly and efficiently. There were a couple of sites I wished to stay longer (Dachau) and some shorter but you need to accept this with a tour.

Really good hotels, showers a little tough for old guy

It was a great time with a great tour group of people, what we called our own Band of Brothers. The tour is filled with activity and sites, you covered so much in 8 days it was well worth the money. It was both physical and emotional challenging, but I would recommend it to everyone as I have since I got back. Congratulations on your tours and well run service.

Driver was outstanding, how he drove thru some areas was unbelievable.

Our guide Honre? was outstanding, to have man 82 who was there as a 9 year old was so meaningful. He was so knowledgeable and heartfelt during the tour. What a privilege to have him.

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

Very professional and courteous.

Procom did an excellent job providing information and making it easy to submit information through the "My Trip" website. It was simple and comprehensive.

No, the information was complete and very helpful.

All of the hotels were clean and comfortable and the staff were courteous and very helpful The hotels were located close to amenities. The hotel facilities, bar and restaurants were all very good. I was impressed with the quality of the food at the hotels. I was quite happy with the hotel selection.

Outstanding !

For me, the tour was an expansion on what I already knew about the Normandy campaign, Bastogne and the rise and fall of the 3rd Reich. I have read pretty much everything published about these events, including Shrirer's "Rise and Fall of the 3rd Reich", twice. But seeing the actual sites and listening to the local guides was an eye opener as the guides added information to amplify and clarify what happened. I was really impressed with this tour. I traveled extensively for business before I retired. A D-Day tour is (was) one of the very few things on my bucket list. Your team made that bucket list item very special to me and I am glad I went on the tour with your team. Well done.

Our driver is my hero. He was one of the nicest people on the tour. He is an excellent driver, he never did anything that was unsafe and he kept to the schedule. I was amazed at the way that he was able to navigate that big bus along some of those roads that I would not try to get a bicycle through. Many of the tour members applauded him for his skill and ability to get that bus down and around some of the narrow roads in the country and the city. He did a wonderful job. The only areas for improvement on the bus would be: 1) Provide the ability to charge mobile phones and tablets and 2) Wi-Fi would be nice. That said, if I could have only one, I would take the charging stations.

I have read about it but to see it in person brought a new dimension to D-Day and the entire Normandy Campaign.

Rudy is a very knowledgeable and informative guide. His presentation shows that he has done a lot of research on not only the known facts but a lot of the subtleties that surrounded the Normandy campaign. Rudy provided a lot of information that detail and nuance to the Normandy campaign. Outstanding presentation.

Henri said he was 9 years old when the Battle of the Bulge took place, He was there. The depth of knowledge that he brought to the tour was priceless. The fact that "he was there" added to the story. Folks like Henri are fewer and fewer every year. He is a wealth of knowledge and a great ambassador for the Bastogne area and the events that took place there.

I coule have spent all day in this museum. I realize that time management is critical to a successful tour, but in the future, I think it would be advisable to allow more time at this site.

General Patton's grave was the highlight for me.

Sobering. I sincerely hope that the events that took place there, and at other camps will never be forgotten.

Outstanding, the guide was extremely knowledgeable. An extremely informative and educational.

We had a beautiful day to see this site. The story behind this site was interesting and how they did the actual construction was more interesting.

Robert is an academic and it showed in his presentation. He was able to present things that only serious academic research would unearth and weave them into a presentation that added a new dimension to the events at both Dachau and Munich. Another fine example of an outstanding local guide.

Very moving when you see all of those grave markers and realize each one is the resting place of a service member who gave their lives to liberate Europe.

To actually see what those men had to accomplish, even 70+ years later was eye-opening.

Another outstanding museum

I cannot say enough good things about Sue. This young lady was outstanding. Professional, knowledgeable, efficient, courteous, friendly and on and on. Sue did an EXCELLENT job managing the tour and keeping the group on schedule without being a "time-keeper". She also did an outstanding job on the simple logistics of the trip, hotel key cards, hotel issues, general support of the tour members. Sue did it all and was everywhere at once. I was truly impressed by her ability to juggle all of those balls and drop none of them. Sue did a great job. I also have to compliment Camille, who was not our tour manager. I and my travelling companion Karen Linfesty had a late cancellation of our flights home. When we got to the airport in Munich, we were essentially lost. Camille, saw that we were having issue and quickly stepped in to help us navigate the Munich airport while she was trying to catch a flight back to her home to attend a wedding. She was not going to leave until she was sure we were on the right track. Camille was a lifesaver for us. That is an example of a professional.

Outstanding museum

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

I didn't know that stores close so early in Europe, or that restaurants in France don't open till at the earliest 7 pm. I also didn't know it's off-season, so limited restaurant options.

Hotel IBIS was a little cramped, and the breakfast lackluster. But the other two hotels were good. Breakfast at Rilano was incredible! Service was good in all three hotels.

I loved it. Very well-organized, professional, friendly service. I want to go on several more tours with Beyond Band of Brothers and have been singing praises of it to my friends and family. I would recommend it because it provides peace of mind in terms of scheduling/booking, it's intellectually engaging and culturally enriching, and they pick amazing tour guides and tour managers and drivers.

I guess it is what it is, but it would be nicer to have a bit more leg room and wifi/outlets since some rides were very long.

One of the best museums.

Tour guide Eric was great.

Knew how to frame events into a larger philosophical context, answered every question with interest.

Very friendly and personable and knowledgeable.

So knowledgeable! I was blown away.

Wish I had more time here, it was amazing!

The BEST!

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

The tour enables you to visit far more places than you could on your own, with easy access. The expert guides are a goldmine of interesting information.

Charlie was versatile and very competent; a problem solver.

Again, an important site that does not take itself seriously enough. Instead of information and artifacts at the top, there is a sprawling restaurant. Also, the complicated bus system required me to estimate how long I would need, but there was no indication it would take 25 minutes to get on the elevator, so my estimate was way too short.

Camille went above and beyond.

Nice touch that we got to see the flag lowering.

Important location, but ringed by tourist shops. Perhaps spend less time here.

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

My only complaint was in Houffalize, our room didn't have the ability to open the windows as we were in the skylight. So, the room got very warm during the night. Otherwise, everything was great. Rilano was super good!

I'm already gearing up to book next year!

I've recommended it to family and friends already.

Just wish the budget tour had WiFi on the buses. Those long hauls got brutal. But, our drive and Charlie did a great job entertaining us.

Incredible tour guide, really appreciated him!

So big!

I really enjoyed this.

Really enjoyed speaking with him privately in Dachau. His mindset towards the war and Germany were outstanding.

Incredible

William was such a great tour guide. I really appreciated his insights.

Loved his passion!

Wish we had a bit more time here. Felt a bit rushed.

Incredible mind.

Such a great museum! Spent hours here!

Loved this!

Best part of the day was this cinema.

5+ stars Travel consultant was very helpful and answered all of our ?

Excellent website information and exceptional brochure

Hotel accommodations were excellent in great locations. Comfortable beds, nice clean rooms. Excellent food too!

This was a bucket list trip for me and my husband. We had a fantastic trip. Everything was so well planned. I would definitely recommend this tour above all others for those interested in WWII history.

Fresh, good variety, delicious!

Excellent driving and parking. Amazing! Bus was very comfortable and clean at all times.

OMG!!! Robert was amazing! He gets my highest marks. Over the top! Very professional yet personable and so knowledgeable. Gave us lots of information and answered all questions asked of him. He could be a professional tour guide as well. He was the best of the best. Above and beyond.

9-day American Civil War Tour - A Nation Tested review

All the hotels were very nice.

I wish we could add a day so we could spend we little more time at the battle fields.

All that we saw and learned

Most of the meals were great. Eating the Subs on the bus was very hard. One day we stopped at a rest area. That was nice.

John was awesome.

Debra was super and very hard working. Debra knew her information and was very helpful and friendly.

Excellent museum

The tour guide knew his stuff. I wish we had some extra time there.

only because it was raining. I wanted to do it.

The guide knew his stuff. But it wasn't what we really wanted. We wanted to hear more about the battle and the Crater.

The tour guide knew his stuff. I loved this spot. Wished we had a little more time there.

The tour guide knew his stuff.

He was excellent.

She was excellent.

He was excellent. After 4 times at Gettysburg I finally understood the battle.

Great. I wish we tipped her ourself.

He was excellent.

The tour guides at both places were great. The tour guide at Spotsylvania was excellent. He did his homework just for us. He was the best.

John was great! The substitute driver, not so much.

Debra was awesome!!

Too much hype.

Too short. We could've skipped the Jenny Wade house and gone into more detail at the battlefield.

A long time for such a short tour.

The guide was awesome!

Rated high because the tour guides were great!

9-day American Civil War Tour - A Nation Tested review

Would have liked a bit more clarification prior to trip and the first couple of days. Seems that as we got to know our guide better, we felt more comfortable requesting she clarify each day and event happenings.

We had requested two beds and did not get it at one hotel.

Great opportunity to see history. Maybe a smaller group would have given us more time. Many people were slow to get off the bus which shortened our time at some stops. People should have known and chosen the tour accordingly. Lots of walking!!

9-day American Civil War Tour - A Nation Tested review

Friendly, helpful, and prompt replies to questions.

Appreciate the suggested reading ideas.

Five star, as usual!

I liked the variety of things I learned from each guide. Some spoke about strategy, others explained political changes before and during the war, some guides talked about the everyday life of the soldier and civilian, and I also learned about advancements in battle technology. The museum bookstores had a wide variety of books. You do not need to be a Civil War scholar to take this trip.

John was a very good driver. I felt safe and he always had a smile for every person.

Delightful! Handled a very large group with cheerful ease every day. Was always in control and ready to answer questions.

Guide Maria had good explanations about the memorials. I learned things that I did not know previously.

Excellent guide at Harper's Ferry, I did not know very much about its significance prior to our tour.

The Antietam guide was able to give me maps of where my ancestors had fought on the battlefields. Good explanations of the difficulty planning attacks with the rolling hills and fields.

Guide at Manassas gave me maps of where my ancestor had fought. I appreciated her thoughtfulness.

Gettysburg guide was tremendous. He gave a wonderful tour and I learned so much about the battle, and the role of the landscape in the outcome of the battles. The museum was very good.

Chancellorsville guide was quite good.

Enjoyed seeing the entrenchments near Petersburg, and learning how the style of war changed depending on the area.

Very good museum.

Brandon was an amazing guide, he has a gift at relaying history and making you feel connected to it.

First time at Arlington and I enjoyed the Women at War museum.

I commented in the prior section about the guides.

Aric and Nathan gave very good tours. I enjoyed the political and social background comments by Nathan.

Barry was awesome. He always said yes and was extremely patience with even with difficult travelers.

It was perfect!

Day 10 schedule changed to include Oktoberfest - great decision and was extremely enjoyable especially with the group. I would only add if I would have known ahead of time I would not have taken an extra day in Munich in order to attend Oktoberfest....

Outstanding accommodations!

Suggestions....driver should put a bottle of water on every passangers seat before taking off....especially the 1st day link up at CDG Airport.

Yes I would. It was an enjoyable tour and allowed us to relax.

Above expectations and THANK YOU for the “BEER” at every meal :)

Not sure how much more the cost would be - but it might be worth taking the train from Normany to Belgium and from Belgium to Munich.

Awesome - his personal history was invaluable

12-day London to Normandy review

The room size at the Hotel Mercure Omaha Beach was smaller than I would have liked but the room was clean; the bed size adequate and comfortable and I do realize that hotel rooms in Europe are smaller than what we expect in America.

From start to finish and incredibly well organized, thought out and throughly planned tour. I don't think I could have seen half of what I did if I tried to plan this on my own

I don't know how they knew the roads and shortcuts that they did!

The Absolute BEST!!!

It brought to life the movie "THE LONGEST DAY".

Wonderful, except the numbers of tourists present at the same time. A suggestion I might offer is to see this the very first thing in the morning so perhaps there aren't as many people as in the later afternoon.

This to me was a little disappointing. I recognize the historical significance but in comparison with the other locations we saw it isn't in the same category.

Top notch professional

Probably the most emotionally moving of the whole tour.

I liked that it was staffed by Canadians; this gave a perspective that I was otherwise unaware of.

Just Wonderful, an incredible personality, extremely kind and thoughtful.

The Absolute BEST!!!

This to me was one of the highlights of the tour; I only wish we had more time at this location.

18-day London to Berchtesgaden review

Nikki was very professional, helpful and pleasant. It was always a pleasure communicating with her and the BBOB staff via email. They were very prompt and helpful. 5 Stars for customer service. The website was also very easy to navigate and helpful.

No surprises! Very thorough and helpful

Great trip and our tour manager was amazing and made the trip interesting and easy!

Hotel Mercure showers were not optimal. Otherwise, the hotels were very nice and the meals at the Novotel hotels were exceptional.

Highly impressed; will make sure friends know of this tour/company

Overall complete tour and with great historians/tour guides. High quality and great people. One more time- Robert made this trip the overall quality that will make me recommend this tour to my friends and colleagues

So many meals and the variety and quality were great. I would have liked to have had traditional fish/chips once in England. Overall, high marks!

I am tall so almost no motor coach is completely comfortable. It was fine and devices made it much easier for movies/communication. Robert was very accommodating and sensitive to any/all needs. One suggestion (and I know it is challenging) but with traffic, we were on the road on days that it was cocktail hour. Having some refreshments other than water would have been nice (if not against a local law)

Energetic and very knowledgeable; one of the best on the tour

We had rainy weather which actually made it very realistic! All of the Normandy beaches, tours and activities were THE highlight for me.

Great tour guide

My second most favorite part of the trip. Very well done

This plus the North Arc tour were very well done

Special ceremony and very moving experience

Everyone should visit a camp; it puts so much in perspective. Our tour guide was amazing

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and it was imformative

We had beautiful weather and could see France. Well done and very interesting

Very interesting and highly informative

Fascinating

This and the Imperial War Museum were fantastic, but these two would have been enough planes and other war equipment.

One of the highlights and the tour guide was exceptional

A highlight; great tour

Great and highly informative

A wonderful tour and the guide/historian was exceptional

His Dachau tour was impressive and he really knows German history and Munich.

Robert was exceptional and the best! I think he should get 10 stars! Very attentive and knowledgeable. Always very helpful, concerned with any of our needs. He always wanted to make sure we had everything we wanted or needed. Procom should make sure to keep him and keep him happy! He was THE highlight of the trip! He became a friend and made sure we all got to see everything we wanted to see. Very flexible and adaptable. The BEST I have ever been on a trip or tour with in all categories!

All of our tour guides were great; Bruno was respectful and interesting

Walking from the foxholes to Foy would have been nice to add.

Very interesting

Would rank this at the top of my tour time and experience

We had great weather for this and Omaha; it allowed for a wonderful walking tour. A real highlight, possibly the best of the entire trip.

Very attentive and knowledgeable

Impressive

All the beaches were a wonderful and meaningful experience

Great weather and your technology for listening to tours made a big difference

Very knowledgeable and interesting

Again, this part of the tour (all the beaches) were great

Highly impressive; wonderful

Our tour manager did a great job on this tour

Informative

Very knowledgeable and accommodating

Appropriate amount of time; fun

Honestly, we got a little tired of seeing airplanes but it was great

I could have booked an earlier flight which would have negated most of my departure headache

Lack of air conditioning was an issue

12-day London to Normandy review

Very satisfied.

You should state that the bus has a toilet facility. I would rate the ‘walking’ requirement for the age of most participants as moderate and, at many locations, not geared toward those with mobility issues - tunnels, underground facilities, Pointe du Hoc, beaches, etc. my wife and I did well, but this was not clearly noted.

Comprehensive ... I saw everything I wanted to see with clear explanation and understanding.

Advise the availability of a small WC facility on the bus.

Sue was super!

The website was very informative, everything you could think of was taken into consideration regarding travel information, food, hotel, the whole experience was great. Procom is very professional, I have recommended this trip to a number of people since I have been back.

Too much chicken

Beautiful and sad

I loved him. He was organized, smart, great personality. I would tour with him again. He knew his history very well.

Very knowledgable and great sense of humor

Very satisfied. Deborah was great with all answers.

Perfect we did as advertised

Very nice, well run and clean. All employees, especially in dining room were very competent. Room was very comfortable.

Very professional.

The tour gave me everything I wanted. To take tour must know the history of Battle of Britain

Very good a different meal every day

Driver knew route and how to get around traffic, always picked up and dropped close to destination

Terrific, did not know much about but was very pleased.

Excellent, to be in a place with the queen and pm was great.

Absolutely not ever to be missed, so much accomplished there.

Terrific, every war represented all countries

Very nice and organized. A little too much dialogue

Wonderful and spent at least three hours there.

Terrific to be in same room as Ike giving the go for overlord.

Very interesting.

Had visited many years before but now very well organized.

Sue was very energetic and caring. If did not have answer, found answer.

8-day Battle of Britain review

Personnel always willing to answer questions.

More information about museums, sites, etc. would be very useful for planning.

Maps would be good. also, see prior answer.

Hotel staff very responsive and friendly. Meal selection could be better.

Well satisfied with Procom.

My first overseas tour of this kind so not much to compare to. Too much walking for me. Schedule seemed a little hectic. Covered a lot of sites.

Great meals at Blue Boar and Three Stags in London. Other meals not so great. Had to walk quarter-mile to restaurants for most dinners.

Too much time on the bus. Hotel site had crowded traffic. But tour bus not bad overall.

Tunnels were uncomfortable and crowded. Couldn't hear guides sometimes. Humid.

Excellent tour of fascinating site. Museum was first-rate.

Perhaps most interesting site. Not enough time allotted to see everything.

Very windy. Long walks. Unreliable tram. Astonishing assortment of aircraft!

Beautiful. Tour guide too lengthy; should have talked inside of chapel.

Again, too crowded and not enough time. But fascinating exhibits.

Map room was great! Photos are allowed inside. MP museum not all that interesting.

Excellent museum! But nothing to do with Battle of Britain.

World class museum. Could have used more time to explore.

Can't praise her enough. Very conscientious and personable. Very patient.

Very informative, responsive, and entertaining.

Great chance to see a lot of London in a short time. Enjoyed the cruise.

Lot of ground to cover. Great selection of aircraft.

Nice scenery. Great museum although tourists were crowded inside.

8-day Battle of Britain review

Great tour. Covered a lot of ground. Should add a day and go to Bovington Tank Museum! Went on my own. World class museum.

Worst food of all the BBOB Tours I've taken. Only decent meal was at The Blue Boar in London. Brits aren't really known for their food.

Seats could be a little more comfortable...but the bus was fine.

Amazing young lady! Good people are hard to find! You need to keep her and develop her career with your company. Can't speak highly enough about her. Class act! One of a kind. :)

8-day Battle of Britain review

very nice, good location for getting out to the highways for the bus, nice amenities nearby, great service, breakfasts got dull being the same each day

Excellent again just like last year when my dad and I had the same compliments after the 11-day Band of Brothers trip.

It was great, and your team does an excellent job. The sites aren't quite as great as Normandy, but nothing could be, and you gave the right amount of time at each location and made it all very stress-free to handle everything, great tour.

I thought they all were good, some were great, but if there were a way to talk the hotel into mixing up the breakfast buffet a little bit I think all would have enjoyed that; however I went to cafe right next door to do just that and it worked out well

I'll butcher the spelling of his name if I try, but he was great, as was the coach itself

the first half was great, the military police portion was the least exciting part of the tour

Sue was absolutely great, older couples on the trip were taking photos with her during the London boat tour and all I heard was well-deserved compliments of the way she handled everything.

Rob was excellent, both very well versed on the topic as well as exciting and entertaining.
