9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

Hotel Wemperhardt was too far from the places we visited and there wasn't much around it.

Bus trips a little too long. Would like to stop and visit areas along the way.

Would have looked more time in St. Marie du Mont.

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

Hotels were nice. The hotel Wemperhardt was too far from the sites we were visiting and not located near enough options for dinner.

I looked the tour. The only suggestion I would make is to breakup the trip to Belgium and Munich with more site seeing. It's too long a journey. Maybe in conjunction with a lunch/restroom break?

Great driver.

Sue was great. She was very professional and worked very hard.

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

Debra was very helpful and patient!

All my questions were addressed by the material we were given.

Although rushed at times, I thought the tour was wonderful. It covered exactly what we wanted to experience. It would be helpful for future guests to know what restaurants on their suggested lists only take Euros (no credit or US).

Extremely knowledgeable! I'm amazed at how he could remember all the information he shared!

I really was impressed when we went into the forest and saw the foxholes and surrounding areas. Again, our local guide was great!

The video presentations were really good and hearing the personal stories brought the war to life.

Beautiful and impressive.

This was my second trip to Dachau (I lived in Germany and had visited many years ago). I really enjoyed our local guide; he was extremely knowledgeable and mentioned specific names of prisoners which added that personal touch to the experience. I would have liked another hour here; there was so much information that we didn't get to read because our guide moved through so quickly.

Did not participate

Amazing! What a trip! I realize we had a 3 hour drive to get there and back, but would have liked another hour there.

Robert was very helpful and organized. Friendly and made everyone feel comfortable.

We were very rushed here; could have used another 30 minutes at least.

I felt we spent too much time there. We could have shaved off a bit of time to stay longer at the Beach and Cemetery.

I wish we would have had more time there. Seemed rushed.

Awesome! Our local guide was amazing! He is very knowledgeable and personable and made the experience more special.

Utah Beach was exactly what I pictured as the site of the D-Day landing. It was great to walk out as far as we did on the beach and picture what took place there.

We spent too much time there; definitely could have shaved off at least an hour there.

Very knowledgeable about the area.

I knew everything I needed before my trip and that made me very calm.

I knew exactly what I wanted to do.

All my rooms were outstanding if they weren't brand new, they sure looked it

Don't Know what they could have done better.

Because its a lot more clearer as to what happened after 6 June 1944

The driver was outstanding. The roads to me seemed tiny. He never touched a curb.

Very depressing but why wouldn't it be.

By then I was to getting a little tired. But I am 80.

As you know the weather wasn't what it could have been. Not your fault.

Very enlightening!!

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

Outstanding - Debra answered all my many questions promptly. Looking forward to hopefully accompanying her on a Civil War Tour.

Outstanding. Went where I wanted to go in a timely and cost effective manner.

Enjoyed watching Charlie drive. Amazing, skillful driver. I sat behind him so had first hand view.

N/A as I did not go.

I am 70 years nine months old. Most sobering day of my life.

Need bigger flag and taller pole for everyone. Need someone at front of group and behind. Lost two people unintentionally. Also need to make rest room stops. Didn't see any rest rooms on tour.

Accent was hard to follow

Finding a 'Welcome to Las Vegas' sign in a gift shop, priceless!

Second time there, just as humbling this time as the first.

Being in the bunker where they shot the scene for 'Longest Day' awesome.

Seeing the church awesome

Sat across from Barry on bus. Enjoyed riding with him.

Looked like Harrison Ford straight out of 'Raiders of the Lost Ark.'

I would absolutely recommend this tour. There is no way we could have scheduled/seen/learned so much in such a short period of time.

Would suggest another monitor or two. We were sitting in the back on the right hand side. I basically listened to the movies but could not see the screen.

Loved the story of the 4 individuals

Fantastic site. Loved the tour by the director (Denise?)

Moving. Tour guide Eric was fanatastic

Very good. Tour guide Eric was fantastic.

Disappointing - but probably more related to the rain/clouds that prevented good views. Would suggest next time to tell passengers if the weather is not permitting good visibility NOT to schedule a bus ride back in the 2 hours prescribed.

Fantastic site. Tour guide Nicole was fantastic also.

12-day London to Normandy review

If we are talking about Robert from Budapest, he was nothing short of amazing. Although I felt I was a thorn in his side from day one. Despite a few hiccups, all of them my fault, he maintained a high level of professionalism. He was also instamental in setting up my arrangements at Normandy, so I could honor my uncle. Despite me inadvertently disappearing, because I was so engrossed with the history locations, he treated everyone with a high level of respect.

Very informative and jam packed with more information than I could absorbe. The guest tours who aided us in England, Frnace and at the RAF location were knowledgeable and professional... sometimes. One of the guides kept slamming the president of the United States. Another brought to my attention that the memorial crosses cost the American Taxpayers $2000.00 and why we needed such fancy markers. Other than that it was a quality tour. Despite the two negative events, I would still choose BBofB as my tour option.

I realized that the tour continued to Germany. I was curious if I could continue with the tour short notice. Robert informed me later that one of the individuals was not going forward with the tour and I could possibly sub in, but normally it was not possible. It would be nice to be able to continue with the tour on a last minute add in. Knowledge of possible construction. At Wembly Park hotel, when I arrived I thought it was located in a bad part of London. This was not the case, but a heads up would have been nice.

Very quick to respond to my questions, and the travel agency kicked butt on my airline tickets.

I have been recommending people to your tour group. Very well thought out tour!

I wish that while in London we ate at more British style meals. Many of the locations wee chain and the food was nothing spectacular and the service was misserable

Drivers were amazing! I saw one your bus with a stocked up bar and nibbles. That would have been real nice to have.

Thank you Robert for your time and patience with me. I know I was not the ideal tourist. I appreciate you helping me at Normandy with my uncle and helping get the Paris situation figured out. If I knew your address, you would get a Christmas present every year. If I take a tour again with you, I promise to be on time and on my best behavior. Thank you!

Who would of thought my home state of Nebraska had markers there.

Excellent, And had some truths debunked.

Did not get to tour the castle, which was a want on my list.

I could not take enough pictures of this place.

After understanding how the enigma machine worked, we were again rushed to see most of the location. Well worth the stop.

Got to enjoy some of it, but in the end I had to rush and missed a lot of the historical presentations.

Glad I got to see this house. Did not care so much about the presentor. He was bashing America and the current president. After his presentation, I felt that England really did not care for us being there and the loss of Americans was irrelevant.

Okay, but the fish and chips place with a blast. I would have preferred a trip out to the forts in the water.

I could talk postive about Robert all day long.

This was my goal for this tour. Well worth it.

Could have been shorter.

I don't cry very much, but I did this time.

Did not realize Candada was a key player. Very informative.

Amazing these have survived this long.

11-day Normandy to the Bulge review

The rep I spoke back and forth with getting things set up and when I had questions was great very helpful and understood what I was looking for

All the hotels were great. Hotel Mercury had smaller rooms but very comfortable. Loved the lounge area outside and inside. The hotel Melba was also very nice with larger rooms and the balconies were great loved the big flat bathrooms in all the hotels. And the breakfast set ups. Would stay there again.

I loved it and would do a tour through you again.

Because I think it’s a tour all would enjoy and one that kids and high school kids should take so they get a better understanding of what really went on during WWII

Meals were over the top starting with breakfast and ending with supper. Nice choices, very filling and very good.

The coach was very comfortable water was very nice to have. Peter the Driver was great very professional felt very safe while he was driving.

Great guide enjoyed listening to his telling of the different things as we went along

The guide and sites were fantastic learned a lot of new things

Was excited to see all the armament restoration and to know they run . I think the history of them should be preserved

Very knowledgeable could learn so much from him very good guide

Loved the area and the shops sites in town

Did not get to go due to injury was at Er this day

Milan was fantastic he was a great manager and guide helpful when needing money and for medical attention due to an injury. He was very personable fun during our tour love to have him again

Same as above

Both very good guides very pleasant and knew much about the area

18-day Munich to the Wolf's Lair review

Great tour. The whole experience was far above my expectations. I would , and have, recommended Procom for anyone interested in doing a history tour.

The meals were excellent across the board. Didn't have a single meal that was not outstanding. The only negative was the amount of food each day. Lighter meals once a day would be popular.

Local guide was a little too preachy for my taste.

Outstanding. She went above and beyond my expectations. I would definitely take another tour with her.

Didn't take tour.

Very thorough! I knew exactly what to expect.

Fantastic. Highly recommended overall.

We had some great meals with authentic regional food!

Both drivers Janos and Laszlo very safe and helpful.

Incredibly beautiful city!

Our local guide was excellent

Vienna wasn't as rich in WW2 history as the other sites.

She was fantastic! Very thorough, knowledgeable, organized and high energy!

This was probably the highlight.

11-day Normandy to the Bulge review

We were assigned a room on the second floor of the Hotel Mercure and there was no elevator. I had to carry my suitcases up two flights of stairs. I told the tour manager about it and he carried the bags down when we left. Older tour participants should not have to carry bags up flights of stairs. The Hotel Melba did not have air conditioning and Bastogne had very high temperatures when we were there. For summer trips consider getting hotels with air conditioning.

Excellent. It was the best organized and conducted tour I ever went on. It exceeded my expectations.

Excellent!!! It is well worth the money and I would highly recommend it. Am considering taking the US Civil War tour in a few years.

Meals were very good. Could have had a bit more selection at some.

Peter was excellent. He was courteous and professional and a very good driver on the narrow and winding roads. The motor coach seats could have been softer.

Excellent

Again the guide was great.

Unbelievable knowledge of the battle. He was the best guide I ever encountered.

The guide was fantastic. He had a very in depth knowledge of the battle and very interesting personal stories.

Very good

Great tour manager. Kept the tour on schedule and interacted very well participants. One of the best tour managers I ever had.

11-day War in Poland review

Niki is incredible at her job and makes it so easy to get info or to provide help beyond normal situations, such as arranging extra nights in a hotel if I arrived early.

the book we received was wonderful, but it was very heavy and would have been nice to receive it in the mail, prior to the trip.

excellent tour guide, great guides with few exceptions in the local places.

dinner was served too late on many nights...we would be seated by 7:30 and not receive the meal until 8:30 or later. Most of the time the meals took too long to receive...even when we were at lunch/dinner and they already knew what we were being given. Lighter options at lunch would be nice. Breakfasts are always wonderful.

driver, bus, guide are top notch.

the sights were nice but a number of them were not necessarily WW2 (government structures or former mansions).

Anna was wonderful, knowledgeable and very professional

The male guide I had was incredible; when we got to Birkenau I was in a different group with a lady who was a poor speaker and unenergetic so I switched to the man I had at Auschwitz

the male guide was awesome...the lady was very weak/poor

Eva was FANTASTIC...a walking encyclopedia with energy and joy...loved her.

the guide at Westerplatte was quite weak; she was the same guide for the walking tour and wasn't as strong as most all of the other guides.

10 stars (I put some info on the previous pages about guides)

11-day War in Poland review

Very pleased with the selections. My top two favorite were Polonia in Warsaw & Hotel Hanza in Gdansk.

I have taken many bus tour trips & this was very enjoyable. The hotels were nice & the longer stays allowed me relax & enjoy my holiday. Having the meals taken care of made me worry less & I enjoyed having a cocktail & dessert for lunch & dinner meals. Plus the service & guides were great!

Most of the meals were excellent, especially at Hanza Hotel in Gdansk. The buffets were ok....I didn't care much for the food at St. Bruno hotel.

Janos did an AMAZING job...There was heavy construction, which delayed us, but I didn't mind. The scenery around me was most excellent & the rest stops were at clean gas stations.

She was informative though a bit monotone with explaining all the sights visited.

Excellent local guide & she did a great job of explaining every sight.

Enjoyed the museum, but even with 20 people to a group, it was too many people to move around & hear our tour guide.

Unexpected highlight!

Eva was amazing! Very friendly, informative, & went out of her way to make sure everyone was comfortable & informed.

One of the best Museums I have visited

Love her personality & upbeat attitude!

The layout was confusing.

She was my favorite. She answered questions thoroughly & pointed out information on every sight.

Very knowledgeable though just talked a little too fast before I could process information.

11-day War in Poland review

Niki is AMAZNG!

Wow! The best hotels of my three trips! Fabulous choices!

It was all I expected and so much more. I would recommend the tour to anyone interested in the larger picture of WWII, ETO, because most of the war happened in Poland! It was pretty much first and central to Hitler's horror, and where the East met West at the end. I tell people about how good Procom is, all-inclusive, centered on a subject that self-sorts people into a shared interest group, so that the participants have a common point of reference unifying them, facilitating friendships and dialog on the trip.

I haven't eaten that much in decades! But didn't gain a pound due to so much great walking! ;) And I very much appreciated having an alternative to fish everytime it was on the menu! Thank you!

Janesh (John) was amazing! What a great driver! Plus he was patient, and always had a big smile for us, and a helping hand as we exited.

It was odd and a bit disconcerting to have 5 outside tourists be added to our tour group at the tower fort.

I'm so grateful for getting to go to the actual ghetto wall piece which still stands, and to the real Mila 18. The Warsaw Ghetto is WHY I came on this particular tour. Thank you!!!

We did the same trip to the central marketplace twice, plus had a free-time session there. I would recommend a castle/armory tour instead of one of the walking tours.

Eva was fabulous, very knowledgeable, great English, and it was wonderful to have her talk from the heart about having lived under Soviet rule and then through the transition to freedom. She was personable, patient, had a ready laugh, clear directions, and was very efficient without getting grumpy!

What an amazing museum!

The fact that the first shot of WW2 and the first step to the fall of the Soviet Union's grip both happened at the shipyards was amazing, and I didn't expect much from Gdansk but was so impressed.

11-day War in Poland review

All hotels were top of the line, the only thing I'm concerned about is stepping over the bathtub to take a shower. I can do it but not sure if someone that isn't in the best shape could do that..

Great Service, everything was top notch.

Just for the overall service you provide. With this being my 5th tour I always have people asking me why. Usually my answer is the company which provides some get tours. You are always on my thoughts regarding my next vacation.

The meals were really good. Some days the food was too much. My only idea is to have a big lunch and a small dinner. Maybe just sandwiches. My mom who grew up in England told me once while we were visiting is their lunch is the main meal. Which is true by the lunches we had. While we were at the Wolfs Lair I would trade that lunch for maybe a Bratwurst and some chips on the patio.

WIFI wasn't the best but some areas of Poland is remote. I was surprised to see it work at all.

All the guides know there stuff on the subject matter.

This had to be my favorite part of the trip. Our guide was fun and very knowledgeable. She didn't disappoint.

Eva was her best making sure everyone was happy. It isn't the easiest job. Procom always hires the best people.

If I could give her more stars I would. I saw her on Ghost Hunters Intl - Wolfs Lair.. I love her

18-day London to Berchtesgaden review

Good

The map to the meeting place at Heathrow Airport was not very good. We walked in circles for awhile.

The elevator at the London was down for several days. We were on the eighth floor. They did not seem to be in any hurry to get it fixed. The Omaha Beach hotel room was tiny and the bathtub was deep and hard to get in and out of.

Yes

The food was good. The only problem was at the end of the tour two groups were combined. One night in Munich it took about 2 hours to finish dinner.

Several times when I was tried I snapped at him and he was still very nice.

I would have like to have spend an extra day there and see the postions of the 28th and 106th Divisions

11-day War in Poland review

I am always kept informed and up-to-date about deadlines, itinerary, etc.

Each hotel was beautifully situated near to the center of town and with beautiful views--Qubus, especially, was right on the bank of the Vistula. Polonia is a beautiful "old world" hotel with a contemporary feel. The St.Bruno is situated right on the canal and the grounds are very attractive. And the Hanza is a alleyway from the Motlowa and the wonderful bustle of the waterfront. Each hotel was great in its own way.

Completely professional. What could anyone possibly complain about. Everyone on the tour--all experienced travelers--seemed to agree that Procom is a great company!

The tour was everything that I expected. After all, I have previously toured with Procom. We are taken to the places we need and want to see. The tour directors and local guides are well-informed and intelligent. The hotels are great. The drivers are great--I was never concerned about safety on the road. We are greeted at the beginning of the tour when and where we are supposed to be met; we are taken to the airport at the end in plenty of time to make our flights. Even if you don't like tours--which I don't--you will love Procom!!!

Jaros was a great driver and the bus was comfortable although I would have appreciated charging ports at each seat. The ridiculous EU regulations regarding speed and driver breaks are out of your control, but they really do add time to each trip.

They were each excellent in their own way. Clearly passionate about their city and their history and Poland, they provided information and insights that enhanced my understanding of Poland in general in addition to the role of Poland in WW2.

I have been to Sachsenhausen, Buchenwald, Dachau, and Auschwitz/Birkenau, but I believe that Treblinka is the most profoundly moving of all. The absence of the physical structures and tools of murder, replaced as they are by the 17,000 markers representing the dead, speak eloquently of the horrors that occurred there. Again, our local guide, Ziggy, was available to explain and answer our questions.

Warsaw is also a lovely city and, as in other places on the tour, I felt profoundly privileged to be able to stand on the same ground as did the many martyrs and heroes of the war in Poland. Our local guide, Ziggy, was passionate and extremely knowledgeable and was a delight to be with.

Krakow was my favorite of the cities we visited. It is a beautiful city with beautiful churches, castles, parks and, of course, the site of many of the Nazi's horrible deeds. Anya, our local guide, was knowledgeable and professional and I learned a lot.

One of the iconic tourist attractions and well worth the visit. The young woman who acted as our tour guide there was also professional and knowledgeable.

Auschwitz/Birkenau, like all the camps, was solemn, grim, and chilling. The camp guide, Richard(?)was extemely knowledgeable and I am happy to see young people (as pretty much all of our guides were) to be so passionate this horrible period of European history.

A different kind of testament to the psychotic realities of the Nazis. Our guide was knowledgeable (and often quite funny, but neber inappropriately so!

A revelation! Who could have anticipated the grandeur of a salt mine. Certainly my favorite non-war, non-holocaust related venue.

Eva is wonderful! Smart, charming, funny--and extremely professional and efficient. I would take a tour with her anytime!

Another triumph for the Poles. The layout, the artifacts, the narratives informed and documented both the tragedy and the bravery of the the Poles in the War.

Gdansk was, to me, a surprisingly lovely and modern city. I suppose I kind of imagined it was going to be just a large shipyard, but it is a very lively and lovely place. By the way, being able to visit Westerplatte was also a high point for me.

This was a beautiful and fascinating memorial to an event that deserves to be much better known outside of Poland.

Many of us remember the events from 1970-1983 and how pleased I was to at last be able to set foot on hallowed ground. This museum is wonderful!

18-day London to Berchtesgaden review

More info about money exchange. It was not always convenient to exchange money in Europe, especially after having crossed the channel.

Rooms and accomodations were all good.

Overall Procom provided great service throughout the tour!

I would recommend the tour to anyone because of the value you receive for the money spent. I know that Procom has an aggressive itinerary, but I think Procom should consider adding half day activities to the agenda. We went from sun up to sun down and saw everything we were told we would see. Unfortunately, we came back so late many nights that we didn't have time to really explore or shop on our own. Also, there were no areas to do laundry. For a tour lasting 18 days and with limits on luggage, an area to do laundry would have been nice. Don't get me wrong. This was a most excellent tour! Thank you.

Meals were most excellent. I also appreciate the restaurants considering my food allergies.

Drivers were all fantastic and I think all were amazed at the ability of the drivers to maneuver in such tiny spaces. They were always driving with safety in mind.

All of the guides were quite knowledgeable. Almost too much information to comprehend in such a short period of time.

Robert was excellent as tour manager. Great sense of humor, quite knowledgeable in his own right. The tour proceeded as it was scheduled.

Better understanding of what occurred after having seen Utah Beach. Guide was most knowledgeable, but the amount of information he put out was almost too much to comprehend.

They've done a very good job of preserving this iconic bridge and giving all of us a better understanding of what occurred here.

For me, it's important to actually walk and feel the places where these events took place.

Artifact collections were outstanding

Another beautiful cemetery. Takes one's breath away. Thank you all so much for allowing us to be part of the laying of the wreath ceremony. Very poignant.

Everyone has their own feelings about this site. It's horrifying on the one hand and full of history on the other hand. Our guide was terrific especially in helping us to understand the politics of the times.

Loved the historical areas we covered in Munich!

Since I was a little boy I have always wanted to see the white cliffs of Dover. I also was able to see the castle and bunkers.

They have done a wonderful job of preserving this history.

I have seen many references to Bletchley Park through books or movies. It was great to be able to actually see the grounds.

Wonderful airfield! I so enjoyed the various buildings and all they contained. Especially liked the restoration projects in the works.

The cemetery is very beautiful and humbling. What a great setting!

Amazing so much was accomplished from this underground complex.

Preservation of these displays is needed for future generations to understand the events of D-Day and forward.

Who?

Wonderful tour.

most impressive collection

I could have stayed in the cemetery for a week just walking around.

Again, having heard and read so much about it, the area was wonderful to see.

Certainly a commanding view from the cliffs. The mulberry harbors were quite interesting and we fell in love with the town.

It is nice that they are still preserved. The overlook of the ocean was stunning. A better understanding of how the guns came in to play on D-Day.

What a view!

5-day Normandy Invasion review

Very satisfied and helpful.

Great staff. Friendly and answered our questions.

The wealth of information of the area is vast. There are so many things to see and do, and a short time to do them. The tour gave a good general knowledge of the beaches and events over several weeks. Very nice accommodations, which may be hard to find for groups in this area. The accommodations were close to the sites the tour visited. The local museum in Bayeux was recommended by the tour director and tour guide. We went there after the tour, and it was a very nice museum. That gave a good timeline of the 100 days of Normandy.

Great local guide who was very knowledgeable about the area, history and battles.

The bridge, its location and the gliders gave a good perspective of the events that occurred at the bridge.

Excellent knowledge. He went and researched someone's relative and gave them the information the next day. He has talked to veterans and brought their experiences to his tour descriptions.

This area was very interesting. We went back to this area after the tour and went to the museum in ththe town square. It is hard to cover all of ththe museums and things in Normandy in the tour timeframe, but it was a great coverage of the events.

He worked to make sure everyone was taken care of during the tour. Really liked the portable microphone and earphone boxes.

All were clean and good . The Mercure was somewhat isolated and it was difficult to go into town.

meals were good but like most European restaurants seemed to lack American flavor

11-day Central Europe Remembrance review

Truly professional assistance throughout.

Very well done. Delivery was complete and very timely.

Hotel Savoyen/Vienna had a bidet - very nice touch.

Well planned and organized - highly recommended for those who want a carefree tour. Well done!

Food was varied, plentiful and excellent!

Janush and Zoli were true artists behind the wheel; always felt safe in all conditions.

Guide Richard was phenomenal; best of all the local guides on the tour.

Expected to see more of the building.

Moved too fast.

Absolutely outstanding.

Fantastic! High energy, highly knowledgeable and very well organized - kept everyone on track.

Too crowded, moved too fast.

Most enjoyable.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers R&R review

The H4 Hotel in Munchen was lacking in a selection of desserts for the evening buffet meal as I cannot eat chocolate and that is mostly was they had.

Overall, we were very satisfied with your tour company.

Your staff was very professional and informative. I have already recommended to my family and friends to go with your tour company on future trips.

All the restaurants we ate at were great! The last hotel we stayed at didn't serve a variety of desserts at the buffet.

Andy our driver was amazing! His skills were unbelievable! He was always pleasant and courteous! Hope he gets paid well!

Rudy was great. A walking history book!

Thought there would be more to this tour besides see the Von Trapp mansion from across the lake. The town of Salzburg was great

Was disappointed in this tour because the castle was under construction and found out that day we could not take pictures. We were not able to walk around the castle at all.

She was very knowledgable.

Barry was great. He took very good care of us and he was very knowledgeable.

The Paris tour in the bus was a little confusing, but enjoyed the sites of the city.

11-day Central Europe Remembrance review

The Hotel Savoyen was the best of the four, far and away. Spacious with a great bathroom The Novotel Munchen was nice but the room was too small for two people. The Novotel Budapest is three stars because of the great view. Again, the room was so small for two adults plus the shower would not drain and we advised the front desk but the issue was not fixed. The Qubus Hotel was a disappointment except for the food. Our bed was very uncomfortable, the pillows were way too soft but the water pressure in the shower was probably the best of anywhere we stayed. The hotel staff, while helpful when approached, seemed to be somewhat annoyed at our being in their space - just my impression. The food in all four of the hotels was great - no complaints there at all.

Learned so much there.

A bit more free time to explore would have been good.

Fabulous lunch and what a view at the summit.

Loved Krakow - what a beautiful and interesting city

Same situation as when we toured the Hospital in the Rock. Our groups were too large and too many people were moving in too many different directions. I was disappointed in this tour.

Heartbreaking. We had a fabulous tour guide, Richard. He was so knowledgeable - what an eerie place to tour but so glad we did.

Loved Budapest.

The young woman who was our local guide was great! So passionate about educating people and making them aware.

Loved Vienna but wanted more time there - so much to see!

Such an interesting place but the tour process itself needs to be tweaked. Way too many people in each group. The groups should be no more than eight - the areas are too small to accommodate more than that. The large size of the groups moving through detracted from the experience of being there.

Great cruise but the food was not as good as the food we had been having at the hotels and restaurants.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

We had some silly questions, and they took them in stride, very professionally.

Our centrally controlled air conditioner did not work properly. They tried unsuccessfully to adjust it on Saturday and Sunday, and the technician on Monday did not fix it either. Thank goodness it wias cool weather, and we were able to open the window. The step-in tub/showers there were very high. As a nurse, I just imagined one of our older companions slipping and hurting themselves. Maybe Novotel needs to make more Handicapped accessible rooms. You have lots of "older" tour participants. Other than that, it was fine. Comfy beds, good food, nice waitstaff.

...I like to eat!.. The food was great. They were very sensitive to my husband's special needs.

I want o see Charlie back the bus into the tunnel at Eagle's Nest!

Really well done! Probably the best of the beach sites. Even the restaurant was great.

The Bridge was cool, but the think I did not know was about the Gliders! That whole thing was fascinating to me. I could have spent more time there at the exhibits and museum

The forest and foxholes! Not what I expected, so close to town, in a smallish patch of forest, so close to the edge....And I really liked the Belgian Army base displays. We again, "happened"on a visit from some British vets and to to participate in honoring them. Tear Jerker!!!

All the museums were excellent, but this one was the best. Again, not enough time!

Better than I though it would be. The laying of the wreath ceremony made it special. These little events give us the opportunity to participate, and offer our own thanks and appreciation for the sacrifices that secured the freedoms we still enjoy. Maybe we take them for granted... this trip reminded me NOT to take them for granted.

Unfathomable, really, that that much evil could be contained in one location. It is SO important what we teach our children! This must never happen again.

I was surprised how beautiful and interesting Munich is, and I did NOT know all the history that was there. The tour guide was knowledgeable, but he was our least favorite. I guess he knew his facts, but there was some kind of "attitude" that came with it that didn't sit well with us.

At first, I wasn't liking this one so much. Just on and off the bus at little monuments....But in retrospect, I'd say keep it. 1. It was a gentler pace, and we needed a bit of a rest, mentally and physically. 2. It reall did give a clear picture of the difficulty of the terrain. 3. Henri Mignon's first hand accounts were some of the best parts of the tour guide's talks. 4. We had one of our more memorable "moments" of the tour. Athe mmorial where the African Americans were executed, ther American Flag ws not flying. Our own vets and active duty military saw to it that the Stars and Stripes were Flying over that memorial!

The endless sea of crosses...the walls FULL of names of the missing....happening across a group of Veterans atthe monument, and Taps.....so moving, so incredible. To think of the courage and patriotism and sacrifice of our guys, who were not even fighting for their own homeland, but the IDEA of freedom for others. Very moving.

TRYING to imagine those young kids scaling those cliffs! Sobering!! I hope we NEVER have to do a war like that again!

Really good! The massiveness of the artificial harbour remais, the expanse of the beach, are sobering. The circular theater gave me a feeling of the confusion of what it may have been like for the soldiers. Having to look all directions at once! Very disorienting. I'm surprised any of them made it.

the size of the bomb craters definitely sets the tone for the devastation of the bombing, and the geographical challenges of the cliffs. But I wonder if we need to see Two batteries

I think we all want to invite him home for Thanksgiving! He made all of us feel like friends. He never got noticeably preturbed with us. I'm sure he must have been, a few times.

Underwhelming. I would have rather had more time at Pegasus Bridge museum. And I wonder why the French have such a small memorila for their own guys who made it back to liberate them. Maybe have one of the guides explain that to us.

BEAUTIFUL!!! Despite rain on the way there and on the way there, it was lovely and clear while there. Crazy to think taht such a beautiful location was home to the heart of evil.... Another day with "Not enough time" all of us wanted to wander the streets a bit!

Ok, and fits your theme. The short time was plenty, though.

I really liked this town, the story, the museum. I would have liked some free time to explore the town more, or to hear from a resident about how it all effected them, then and now. How they feel about it.

The simulator was very cool! The young people on our trip liked this the best. I wanted to go into the original building/store, but we couldn't until after the simulator. We were in the second group, then walked out through the museum, then there was no time....Why could we not have gone in while group one was in the simulator?

interesting, the stark differences between the cemeteries. It does make it sink in about the vastness of the lost human life, and the differences of how the countries remember their dead. I know we did not stay too long, but I wonder if you could cover some of this in videos, to allow more time at some of the other locations.

Ditto, above, but this was the "nicest" of them. I liked all the flowers and the personalized inscriptions.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers R&R review

All of them were first class

I think Procom has really tried to think of everything. They do a phenomenal job.

Absolutely-great mixture of WW 2 and non-war attractions. I took my whole family and it was the trip of a lifetime. One suggestion:In the brochure booklet describing the tour one of the reviews says "Overall a very good tour". That sort of scared me a bit-only a "very good tour". I would expect a more glowing description. Happily I can report it was "a fantastic tour". It was nice that the details were taken care of-hotels, restaurants, etc. yet we still had plenty of free time.

Meals were overall excellent. Some places we had some choices which was nice. Maybe a little too much pork.

The driver, Andy, was amazingly skilled

I had done a lot of the Paris stuff myself, but this was good because the tour guide focused on the WW 2 sites

The highlight of the trip for me

The only downside was that the guide did not know the WW 2 history of the castle

We had Thomas

The Cinema was much better than I expected it to be

He was really great. We had one tour member who complained about everything but Barry handled it well.

Tour was as advertised, although there was somewhat of a disconnect in my mind between the 101st Airborne and what was actually covered in the Normandy area. Also, Paris would have been more interesting if the R&R had been emphasized rather than WW2 sights.

With the exception of the lunch in Versailles and the arrival dinner in Munich, food was very good. In general, would have preferred some of the hotel dinners to be at local restaurants.

Excellent

Excellent hotels - I would like to have air condition rooms in each city. Hotel Melba was a fine hotel, buy my room was a bit too warm.

I have no recommendations for improvement other than keep doing what you are doing...

Excellent tour. For me-a once in a lifetime opportunity which I thought I would never be able to attend. I would certainly recommend the tour to anyone interested.

Excellent selections and well presented. Thank you.

Excellent drivers

As with Normandy - Holy Ground

Far too many tourists at the same time!

Difficult to "appreciate".

Difficult to understand

Could not have been better.

Normandy American Cemetery is Holy Ground

Beautiful Idea.

5-day Normandy Invasion review

I love the website and appreciated the notes on "few rooms left".

I would have like to know the name and bio of our local guides beforehand. You are meeting so many people-knowing ahead helps with names.

Laundry service was important to us as we were traveling for a couple of weeks. Hotel Mercurie did do laundry service, but it took some persuasion to actually get our clothes back before we left. Others in our group had similar problems.

These folks are second to none. I want to go on another tour with them!

The tour was everything we hoped and more. We would recommend the tour because you could not leave after the 5 day Normandy without being moved-without having a life changing experience. Every second was just so emotional.

Christophe was an amazing intellect and he offered so much wonderful content. However, at times I found his factual lectures too overwhelming and his pictures, although wonderful, impossible to see in such a large group. As a former teacher I found myself tuning him out when all of the content became overwhelming. I almost needed a cliff's notes version of what he was talking about. A simple paper outline of what he was going to be talking about would have been great.

There will never be anything like it. It was unbelievable. We were so moved.

I found the guide to be too factual, lacking in the human interest stories that he did later in the week start to include in his lectures.

18-day Normandy to Krakow review

The attention to detail is superb. The dedication and enthusiasm of the guides is awesome. Everything was about as perfect as it could be. THANKS

Although I understand the need to accommodate all the food “issues” of the group and to select items that are “local” and readily prepared for a group of people, I did find the food a bit bland. The lunch meals were often a bit heavy - so a lighter option such as a salad would be welcome. Overall - I have no real complaint, and seeing as how my clothes were a bit tighter when I returned home it all was good!

Best road trip ever!

Excellent - guide Jean-Luc is exceptional

Too little time in such an amazing city - but that is for another visit!

These two are real superstars!!!

If there is any way to allow a visit to the memorial museum and infinity pool that would be great. The tour is already packed with activities, so this is probably not possible. I had visited it before and found it very moving.

9-day American Civil War Tour - A Nation Tested review

Very thorough

all were nice & had nice workout facilities

Great as usual

Provided a great overview of the Eastern theater of the Civil War

I like that we had a couple of options for dinners! I didn't care for some of the bag lunches

Procom always has great drivers

Debra had a thorough knowledge of the Civil War! A very nice person who looked after her tour members

very nice

great guide-bad weather

Excellent guide & my favorite place

you need to incorporate a visit to 2nd Manassas battlefield

excellent guide

I imagined that there would be a couple hundred people involved not thousands!

Not much to see! the Ranger knew is stuff!-I would much rather have toured the Wilderness and Spotsylvania courthouse battlefield & more of Chancellorville (a tour of the roads Jackson took to turn the Union flank (I did this by car thirty years ago)

interesting It would have been nice to visit Hollywood Cemetery and the site of Tredegar armory.

Very nice low key place full of history-much more developed than it was on my last visit

A place every American should visit

18-day London to Berchtesgaden review

The second elevator was out at the Novotel Hotel in London for 3 days and we were on the 8th floor. The staff didn't seem to have a clue as to how long it would take to get fixed. With the large groups it was difficult to get on the elevator at the end of the day. Hotel Mercure Omaha Beach had really tiny rooms but other than that it was good.

I highly recommend taking this tour if this is your first time to make the trip. I think it would be difficult planning the itinerary by yourself. I would recommend adding a few extra days on to the beginning of the trip if you are interested in seeing the sights of London that aren't related to WWII.

The meals were wonderful. On the days that we had a sack lunch I would recommend having a selection to choose from (especially on day that it was a cucumber/cheese/tomato sandwich). But I was glad that we had a couple of days with sack lunches so that we had longer to spend on the sights.

All of the drivers were amazing handling that large bus on those narrow roads!

The local tour guides were very knowledgeable and added to the enjoyment of the tours.

He did a marvelous job keeping everyone and everything on track for the trip.

Tour guide was excellent for both Dachau and the walking tour of Munich..

This was the best tour guide of the trip

Tour guide for London was very knowledgeable.

Impressive self guided tour

Tour guide was excellent.

Tour guide for Normandy was very good.

It was very impressive to see how large the artificial harbor would have been during the war.

There wasn't as much to see there as I had thought but since most of it had been destroyed in the war, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised. Scenery was beautiful.

12-day London to Normandy review

We were mostly very pleased with Procom. There was a scheduling issue that cropped up during the tour that caused us extra expense and inconvenience that I believe could have / should have been caught earlier in the process.

Both were very nice accommodations. Our breakfasts were outstanding, the rooms, though small, were clean and efficient and well maintained throughout our stays. The staff at both locations were polite, professional, personable, helpful.... very good.

Very good... even with our scheduling glitch they were very helpful.

It was an outstanding tour and filled all of our expectations. Yes, I would recommend Procom highly and will use them again.

The food was outstanding. The time it took to get orders taken and meals served was sometimes extraordinarily long.

The bus was very comfortable even on our days of longer travel. The drivers were amazing. Negotiating London in a bus with left side steering was nothing short of a miracle.

Almost all of the on site guides were outstanding with only one exception. The gentleman at the Royal Air Force Museum was not up to par with the others.

Sue was a delight.

Same great guide and great explanations and history lessons.

One of our favorites. Yet, a bit rushed.

Fascinating... and very well explained by our guide.

Great guide and mind boggling in its complexity.

Another favorite...

Humbling....

Robert did a great job. He was very organized, personable, helpful... etc. etc. etc.

My comment throughout this evaluation will be similar. I enjoyed each and every site we visited but often there wasn't enough time to adequately take in all there was to see.

Both were outstanding. Fun, engaging, interested, knowledgeable....

Humbling and emotional. Glad we were there for the lowering of the flags and taps....

Again... our guide was outstanding.

Hotel Melba, Bastogne no air conditioning. Novotel London Wembley only one functioning elevator, hotel full of Chinese

we were quite busy. If we were to have more time anywhere, it would be at the expense of additional total days. Personally, I was disappointed that we didn't see more of the terrain in Ardennes. It would have been worth another couple of days for me.

18-day London to Berchtesgaden review

I would have preferred to have the hotel information sooner.

The Hotel Mercure had very small rooms. There was not adequte space for balancing suitcases for easy access. There were several times when the maid did not leave enough supplies and we had to request them from the front desk. The bathtub/shower was very diffficult to get in and out of. Otherwise the hotel was in a beautiful setting and we found it to be clean.

Procom tours provide the ultimate travel experience where every detail is meticulously arranged. The historical sites visited and excellent knowledge shared by each of the individual tour guides was outstanding.

I would recommend Procom to others who have an interested in miltary history. I would like to utilize Procom for additional European travel. I would also like to see Procom offer additional tours that cover other historical subject matter.

The food was excellent and extremely plentiful.

Both drivers we had were absolutely excellent! My only complaint was the internet timed out too quickly.

Robert always went above and beyond to make sure that every detail of every aspect of the tour was perfect!

I had indicated on the "MY TRIP" portal that recognition for my great uncle whose name is on he MIA Wall would be most appreciated. Robert provided a sincere heartfelt apology regarding the fact that it was missed when one of the other tour participants brought it to his attention.

18-day London to Berchtesgaden review

Robert was a great guide; friendly, helpful and funny.

I was very impressed with the scope of the tour and all of the arrangements. I didn't have to worry about a thing, other than hand washing clothes because there were no facilities to do laundry and it was extremely expensive to send it out.

The quality and quantity of the food was wonderful. However, there were several places where the services was very slow. It would have been nice to place orders ahead of time, especially for lunch, since we had a limited menu to choose from anyway. This would have saved time and frustration.

Also enjoyed Sue who was interning with us.

He was friendly, patient, helpful and funny.

Gave too much detailed information; it was too hard to follow it

Wish we had more time there to hike a long the trails.

18-day London to Berchtesgaden review

Robert Heindrick and the intern Sue were excellent and both represented your company tactfully and were personally very helpful-employees such as these should be promoted or at least considered for recognition

That made the anticipation of the trip so much greater

It would have been nice to have a copy of the next days or the days journeys on a big map that we could see as we entered the bus. I took a trip to the Holyland and they hung a map up front just as we were loading or unloading the bus. I appreciate that we each of us had our own maps but somethings I was too tired to read ahead for the next day or prepare for the next day

Had to get used to putting my card into the holder to start utilities and it was removed during day so A/C was shut off during day

It exceeded my every expectation and just got better and better

Absolutely-my friend who helped me find this is waiting to hear how I liked it as she said she has a certain clientele who would be interested in this type of tour. I love to travel with a purpose and the tour satiated all my demands!

Plenty and so good I liked the way they reflected the local flavour

Seats not that comfortable but the drivers were nothing less than amazing Very capable, friendly and treated us with dignity which can't be easy as they meet all times

Very clever to use local guides who seemed to have a real passion to teach

Sue-has a way of dealing with people in a warm and dignified way. She a gem and don't let her go

All beaches were great to understand the different challenges

Loved the local guide and to actually see where Hitler started his movement-I had read all that but to actually see where he was first rejected and then grew in power and prestige

Not so much my interest and was quite overwhelming

Need more time

This young man is capable far beyond his role just now Please see him through bigger eyes-example as a planner of other tours because he seems to understand human nature and also was flexible enough with us to give us needed free time when he felt we were wearing out

Incredible

The best

All Bastogne guides and experiences were fantastic

Loved it

Can't remember

Highlight of the trip The views were unbelievable and we really were amongst the clouds and again something I had seen pics of but you really must see to believe!

Good, pertinent information given

All provided very good accommodations, service, and food!

I believe that I was exposed to sites during the tour that someone not being guided would not have seen. Although the tour was "tiring," I definitely would recommend your tour for someone interested in the Allied invasion, especially for those who had an understanding, no matter how slight, of what took place in 1944 and 45.

All Good! Novotel's buffet was especially good!

Mr.D deserves credit for his manipulations of the bus throughout the tour, especially in and through narrow allies and streets!

History supplied at other sites complimented what little I was aware of. Eagles Nest, aside of history, was a stunning ending to the tour! This Sh All sites complimented what I had read about or viewed. Eagles Nest was without a doubt,a stunning end to the tour! Breath taking!

Our information details could have been given earlier in the tour- anticipation of restaurants and stops is nice.

It is a very specialized tour and I would recommend it to anyone wanting that experience.

Although I see the need at times, generally I prefer NOT to eat at hotels. I do enjoy eating on my own for some dinners.

Generally, they were excellent. English was very good and they were all very interested in their subject.

Extremely satisfied

Hotel Wemperhardt was particularly noteworthy. All were great.

Well thought out and organized. It encompassed a broad stroke and tied it all together intelligently.

Great God. If you were hungry on this trip it was your own fault! Very good!!

Charlie did a magnificent job of getting around traffic backups and to our destinations in a timely manner. Kudos!

The background and eyewitness perspective was amazing.

This was a pleasant surprise and could have spent more time here.

Bruno was a great guide.

Didn't expect this to be so good. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Straight forward...spoke my "language"

Loved visiting here.

Milan did a wonderful job and was a wealth of knowledge. What a great personality!!

Breathtaking

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Very careing and competent

Have already been talking to friends and recommending participation.

More than enough food, sometime way too much but enjoyable and tastey.

Extremely capable,experienced, and personable.

His survival and living through the battle of the Bulge added richness to the information.

Should go to Pegasus bridge before Sword beach, and just drive by. Lost valualbe time to afford at Pesasus for an uninspiring stop at Sword Beach. Did not have suffesient time to absorb all available at Pegasus.

High light of tour.

Icing on the cake. Very informative.

Honor to show respect for those who served, added touch to see Gen. Patten' grave.

Eye opener, and conferms all my previous suspesions. Must be top priority for ALL FUTURE TOURS!!!!!

Extremely informative and show where all this evil originated.

Keith is somewhat opinionated, was a bit of a distraction to his presentation. Steve on the other hand, was well informed and interesting to listen to.

Great to have an active duty service member passing on historical info.

Highly educational and well presented by survivor.

Been there three times including this trip, moving each time.

Can we have Milan on all our tours we attend in future???

The French need to up their game at Sword Beach if future stops are considered. A wast of time for the fact that this is where the French reentered their country. Least interesting stop of the entire 11 days!!!

Fitting end to the whole historical event. Start of and finish.

The ability to "fly" in the simulator is a terrific touch.

Could have done without it. They (Germans) were the problem, hard to have sympathy for their lose.

Very worth while.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

The ladies on the phone were very helpful and professional!!

I felt completely prepared prior to the trip.

I had high expectations for this trip but Milan and your company exceeded them. Everything was as advertised and I saw all the points of interest that I wanted to see! I would definitely recommend your company and in fact have done so already.

Most meals were delicious and certainly generous portions. I appreciated having more than one choice for all meals. Most meals were a little late in the evening but I would not give up seeing points of interest for earlier rbrning meals so this was a good trade off for me!

I would have appreciated plugins on the bus to charge cell phones but that is probably being to picky.

This was a highlight for me. I would have liked to have seen the area where the first three gliders landed.

I could have used a little more time.

I had a little trouble understanding him! I enjoyed his personality and he was very knowledgeable.

I would have liked to have gotten more detail about the construction and use of the Mulberry harbors.

Milan kept everything running smoothly. He kept us on time and most importantly he was a pleasure to spend 11 days with. If I ever do another Band of Brothers tour I would request Milan!

Good location. Good food. Comfortable rooms. They had elevator issues while we were there.

Responsive to questions.

Well organized, informational, and fun trip. Procom delivered as promised and met our expectations. We plan to take more tours in the future.

The food was good. There were a few issues with people getting served timely. We appreciated that special diet needs were considered and accommodated.

Very comfortable. Glad to have someone else drive on those narrow, traffic jammed roads.

Ruth was excellent. We loved listening to her.

Robert did a good job guiding us through the tour.

Except for the WWI exhibits, the other displays were limited and less organized. We were somewhat disappointed in this site and could have spent less time there. However, we thought Ruth was great!

Unbelievable driving by Mr. D

Best overall service that I have ever experienced!

Extremely pleased with all aspects of the tour from pre-departure information to on-board bus information and videos. I believe we got excellent value for our money.

Great except for the Oso Bucco lunch in Versailles!

The bus was always clean and well stocked with water. Andy is an excellent, safe driver. I hope all my future drivers are as professional as Andy.

Truly excellent

Especially informative on Sound of Music sights and details.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

The folks in Kentucky have been very good throughout the process.

Flawless except for the switches with the hotels. The staff in Kentucky was very helpful on the several occasions I contacted them.

I would recommend it and would go on another Procom tour.

I think the meals were all very good throughout the tour and some were excellent.

Bus was comfortable and was pleased the a c worked. WiFi was subpar. Spend what it takes to upgrade it. Charging outlets at the seats would be a big improvement.. our driver was always on time, always helpful, made sure the bus was secure at all stops and was very pleasant throughout the tour.

Another star!

All great. We saw a lot of great areas, the guides were very good and the museums and other attractions were excellent. I was disappointed that we did not visit the Airborne Museum in St. Mere Eglise as I had visited it 20 years and noticed that it has been substantially expanded. Of course, there is too much to see in Normandy in three days. The new (I think it’s new) Utah Beach Museum was very good. Utah normally gets less play than Omaha in the accounts about the American D Day effort, so the ability to have this museum focus on the Utah events was great.

Museum was great, including the glider and it was cool to walk on the original bridge.

Bastogne was great as well. Glad to see the emphasis on American war efforts there. Standing in the Easy Company foxholes and seeing the Dragon’s Teeth were two very significant things for me. Seeing the actual forest really showed what a tough place it was to defend, especially against tanks. I was especially pleased at the treatment afforded our WW 2 veteran during the tour generally and especially in Bastogne. The Belgian Army personnel treated him like the hero he is and we all appreciated it. The Bastogne Barracks and their Exhibit Hall filled with WW 2 vehicles were highlights. Also, heading into a village and seeing a refurbished King Tiger tank was terrific. I want to single out Bruno, our guide in the town of Bastogne. He was humorous, extremely knowledgeable and brought the events to life. He is a keeper.

This was an excellent museum. Well worth the time to visit. The personalization of it with the four people made it more lifelike and dramatic, especially the simulation

One of the most emotional parts of the entire tour. Again, our WW 2 veteran was afforded the privilege of laying a wreath and three other U S military veterans (including myself) had the opportunity to join him for Taps and the National Anthem. All of us had a very emotional response to that honor. I am very grateful for that.

Very sobering and well managed. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us great insights into this horrible place.

Second visit to Munich. A great city. The structure of the tour was very good. The guide was relatively knowledgeable but his political statements were not only inaccurate, but unwelcome.

Most interesting. Have seen so many films about this place, it was interesting to see that it was as small as it was and the fact that Hitler didn’t really like the place. The amount of money the party spent on this could have been used for a lot of tanks and planes, so that was something I found to be fortunate for the allies.

I have referred to him as well. Knowledgeable but didn’t like his injection of his inaccurate political observations into the tour.

Have referenced him elsewhere, but to re-emphasize, he was terrific!

The entire Ardennes segment of the tour was outstanding. Seeing where the massacres happened was sobering but I am glad it was included.

We did not visit the Bayeux Tapestry but that was not on the itinerary, so that was expected.

Learned a lot about Omaha that I did not know. Seeing the concrete barriers on the beach, which I did not see on my previous visit and the first breakthrough area on the beach just brought home how incredibly difficult this landing was.

Really enjoyed here. Would have been nice to visit the Grand Bunker but again, you can’t see everything. I thought it was interesting to have lunch in the same restaurant I visited 20 years ago. Had seen the Cinema Circulaire 20 years ago as well and it was probably even better than last time.

Candidly, I don’t remember too much about that part but I recall that it was a good part of the tour.

Very interesting. Learned a lot, including the fact that most of the guns were WW 1 French guns.

Very knowledgeable and her personal accounts really made the tour special.

Learned a whole lot from him as well. For a rookie (his first tour) he gave us a very good tour.

12-day London to Normandy review

Ms. Watkins was a dream to work with!

You really seem to have covered everything in your brochure and what I 'overlooked' was fully explained by Ms. Watkins!

Wembley - didn't like the fact that they kept removing the room key which shut off the air conditioning - after touring I would have liked to come back to a cool room. Mercure - small room and it was hard to get into/out of the shower. Both facilities were clean and I felt safe at both.

It is a FIRST CLASS operation from start to finish!

I would recommend this tour to anyone who has an interest in history, specially WW II and the D-Day invasion because I was truly able to get a feel for how difficult it was for them to get ashore at Omaha, Point Du Hoc - the beach at Omaha is much larger than I thought it was (we were there at low tide!) and at the Pointe - it's one thing to read how tall it is but another to actually see what they had to scale! I always aid I'd like to go to England, visit the War rooms, SHAEF HQ then ferry to the beaches and you had it all wrapped up in one tour.

I truly was amazed at the quality and the quantity of the meals! I actually skipped dinner one evening because I was still stuffed from lunch! The restaurants in the London area were a bit slow but when a large group comes in that could happen anywhere. The 'box' lunches - one sandwich would have been plenty with the fruit, juice, energy bar and muffin - very few were able to eat the second sandwich! I like a salad with some meals and it was being offered, mentioned it to Robert and here comes a salad! Really outstanding restaurants and the food was great!

The bus was ALWAYS clean, the drivers were ALWAYS courteous and friendly. I couldn't believe how they were able to navigate the narrow, crowded streets in both countries!

Robert - he has a lot of responsibility for someone so young but he handled everything just fine. I know of many request that he personally handled for various tour members including myself. Sue - was her first outing (as I understand it) in the London area and she did great, interacting with the group and answering questions etc.

Amazed they kept the original bridge when they replaced it with the newer one! It would have been scraped here in the states!

Private explanation to our group of the Engima machine - outstanding!

Had never heard about the tapestry!

He did an OUTSTANDING job of keeping us on track and getting us into and out of places, clearing customs etc. OUTSTANDING!

Can't say a single negative about Ruth, EXCELLENT and very easy to understand. Christophe - at times he drone on too long about a specific subject - I truly believe he has so very much knowledge about the area and the war and he wants to give us as much as he can! He was excellent otherwise!

SOBERING!

Wasn't crazy about the cinema but the harbor and town were EXCELLENT! I had no idea that so much remained of the Mulberry's!

Overall excellent, but too much bus time. Excellent and caring tour guides/staff very much appreciated, made a big impact on the quality of the tour. More private tours at sites would be better, and more time with Ruth if at all possible! A music option on bus would have been a good feature.

Need fast efficient lunches...no fault of Robert, the restaurants just not able to handle large tour groups.

Super driver! But too much time in London traffic, maybe 2 different hotels would be better?

Ruth was AWESOME!!!! Absolutely the best.

Sue was excellent and caring! They were a great team!

Needed more time there!!!

Nice, but not worth the travel time.

Excellent, attentive, and dedicated!

9-day American Civil War Tour - A Nation Tested review

Great help throughout the process

This was my first group tour and I couldn't be happier with the overall experience. Have already talked to someone who is interested in this tour in the future. Will definitely recommend and look forward to taking more tours in the future. Great job.

Robert was great driver, his local knowledge of area provided some unique perspectives.

Great job planning the tour and leading the group.

Had to rush through so missed some things

Very informative tour guide

Guide was excellent. did research and provided materials on the unit that my ancestors were in and personalized it for me.

Put locations in perspective

One of better re-enactments I have seen

Wreath laying ceremony at Tomb of Unknown Soldier was awesome. Disappointed that Arlington House wasn't open.

Best of tour. Did research and provided info on the unit my ancestors were in and pointed out where they were during the battle.

Excellent local knowledge

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers R&R review

Excellent presentation. Good information. Kept us moving to see the sights. Would have liked to spend a bit more time in Bastogne, Saltzburg, and the town with the Mulberrys. A bit rushed in those communities.

Very representative of the countries that we visited. However, most of the meals had potatoes as a side dish in one form or another. I got a bit overspudded after a while. The mystery green soup at Mont St Michel had no flavor at all. I ate it, but had no idea what it was. Other than that, a good overall representation. My wife and I are not big fish eaters and she doesn't eat a lot of pork. But neither of us starved to death. It was nice to see the different types of food presentations.

Great job navigating in difficult and varied driving conditions.

Viva la Barry!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers R&R review

All the information was very thorough

The hotels got better as the trip progressed. In hindsight I would have liked the Paris hotel to be closer to the sights, but I do understand that the bus size had something to do with it

A top flight organization and I hope to go on another tour

I would recommend the tour. However, I would spend an additional day in Paris and reduce time in Bayeau and Caen.

Mont St Michel lunch was bad. French meals were average. They were better on my previous trip. Bastogne lunch was outstanding and Luxembourg and Germany were excellent

Peter was outstanding! The coach was comfortable

The guide was excellent but the logistics of the day were off a bit. It was too much to fit into one day. I would have liked a day of general travel and another day for the bus to drop us off and pick us up at specific sites.

The outside was beautiful, but the tour and inside the monastery was only average

A great place

I would have liked more time there

I would have liked more time in Obersalzburg

I loved Camille! She was knowledgeable, personable, organized and thoughtful. I would love to go on another trip with her!

A great day all the way around

A nice visit, but the tour guide took too long

The highlight of the trip

The most beautiful sight of the trip

12-day London to Normandy review

Would have preferred London hotel closer to central part of the city but understand limitations of large tour group

I enjoyed the tour immensely. It was well run and the food/accommodations were excellent. I would recommend the tour.

Food was overall excellent. My only concern was the wait time in London was so long that it cut into sightseeing/museum time. The French restaurants with their fixed menus were efficient.

USB ports at sears are nice to recharge phones between sites. A minor issue

Both were excellent.

Very helpful in accommodating my specific side trips and food restrictions.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers R&R review

Excellent.

Excellent. It should not be called R and R though. There was not as much free time as we expected. Activity level was given a 2 and it should have been at least a 3. A couple of the members of our tour had a difficult time with the steep climbs at all of the castle's and Eagles Nest. Although I didn't have problems at the castles, the thin air made it a little difficult at Eagles Nest. Should possibly be a warning about that. I would recommend the tour to anyone who is interested in seeing Europe or in World War II. Definitely need more time at War Museum in Bastogne and in the town of Bastogne itself.

We only had one meal we didn't care for and that was at the Mercere Hotel in Paris. Little Mermaid in Caen was amazing. Lou's in Bastogne was also amazing. We thought that food at Versailles was very good but many people on our tour didn't even try it.

Andy was a great driver. There were some hairpin turns that he made book so easy. There were often times that the wifi on the bus was a problem.

Amazing! He was exceptional!

This museum is worth the entire trip. Limited time did not allow us to see the whole museum.

I would give this 10 stars if I could. Absolutely beautiful.

My boys and I did not care for Versailles.

Would have rather had more time at Bastogne War Museum.

Wish we had more time.

Didn't really feel like we saw anything from the sound of music except the convent from the bus and walked to where they shot the outside scenes of the house.

Everyone should see Neuschwanstein at least once in there life. Luckily, this was my second time.

We loved Barry! He was very knowledgeable, funny, and dealt with a difficult tour participant in a kind and professional manner that I am not sure I could have.

Very nice guy. Tour was too fast.

He was very good.

Great !!! and Yes I would recommend it to anyone that would be interested in a History Tour such as the one we took.

Peter couldn't have done a better job. Always felt safe and sound with him at the wheel.....

Best Ever and a great lunch !!

She is the most organized and professional guide I have ever had the pleasure to be with on a tour. Such a delight and always in great spirits. Very knowledgeable and resourceful. Couldn't have asked for anyone better !!! Job Well Done !!!! Thank You for sharing her with us....

The lunch left much to be desired

Did not go on that part of the tour

Funny and entertaining

Not very well prepared. The stop on the side of the street was not really necessary.

9-day American Civil War Tour - A Nation Tested review

They were all very nice and comfortable.

One other thing about the bus. It would be nice if possible to have electrical outlets and USB ports on the bus like some in Europe. General impressions are good. I have always enjoyed your tours and plan to be included in many more. Probably the next ones will be the two new Civil War tours. I would recommend your tour because of the content, the personnel, the method you use, the subject matter, the professionalism and your overall business model. But one of the main things I enjoy about your tours is the smaller groups they draw or you limit them to. I hope the busses do not get crowded and the groups too large to properly manage like other tours with other company’s tours.

Even for a box lunch they were very good. Also the first tour of four with your company that they were used. The Old Ebbitt Inn was of course the best meal, the steak was beyond words. All the others were very, very good. However the breakfasts could have been better with a couple more main items included on several of them. The breakfasts in Richmond were, however, excellent because they were in the common dining area of the hotel serving all guests and had much more to offer. Their omelette station was outstanding.

Bob was a great driver and person. He added to the tour with knowledgeable comments from time to time and his detour tour of Washington’s nighttime illuminated skyline on the way back to the hotel from supper ended the tour in a special way. Hooray for him!!!

Debra did an outstanding job. I know she had to deal with several picky complainers but she handeled their issues with a smile on her face, kind words and a professional manner and sense of responsibility. She made the tour a fun time and an enjoyable experience. With her each individual person was a special person. She was efficient, kept us on time and made sure all was well.

The presentation by the Park Ranger was excellent.

Excellent guide

N/A

To be there and stand on the ground caused me to reread “Killer Angels” from years ago. Seeing the topography makes the book come alive as you read it like never before.

Outstanding!!

Another excellent Park Ranger presentation like Harpers Ferry!

Interesting

Very worth seeing and the least unchanged of all with the roads still dirt, the number of original buildings and no encroachment of development.

Also a must see but also outstanding because of what it is and what it represents!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers R&R review

I more detailed list of what was going to he seen in Paris on the site seeing tour.

We would have preferred a different location for the hotel in Paris, but understand with the bus access it would be difficult to be located in a different part of the city.

we felt the tour was wonderful and looking back it is unbelievable all the sites we were able to see in such a short time.

The meals were good with a few exceptions, we specifically did not enjoy the meals at the restaurant near Mont St. Michel, and the meal at Versailles. we also wish we had more of a selection during the meals, but our only major suggestions would be to have a lighter lunch that doesn't take as long. We felt we were spending too much time at lunch when we could have been exploring the areas where we were eating, specifically the meal in Bastogne. The food was excellent but it took a long time to eat.

The coach was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, but we were disappointed in the lack of Wifi on the bus. Peter was great.

Seemed like we set in traffic more than seeing sites.

Would have preferred to see Omaha beach at low tide instead of high tide as we could not see much of the beach itself.

Museum was excellent, would have liked more time in the museum, we felt rushed.

Excellent tour guide, wish we would have had more time.

Camille gave us great advise to walk up to the top and take the elevator down. The walk up was absolutely wonderful.

She was excellent.

Would have liked more time to walk the the cemetery without the guide.

Not many issues with what the tour can control, but was disappointed none of the fountains were going in the gardens and way too many people in the palace to see very much.

We thought the tour guide was excellent and really enjoyed the tour.

Salzburg was an unexpected surprise to the tour we enjoyed it a lot.

We did not have many expectations for this tour as we have not seen the movie.

Wonderful tour.

She was great.

Good information, but but we didn't enjoy this guided tour as much do to the traffic.

11-day Fields of World War I review

Everyone has been very helpful, especially Niki, who led our Eastern Front tour in 2017 and has been very helpful in every way.

I think it is quite good. I am unusually interested in deeper information about everything, not just you tours. So while I would like more, especially detailed maps of the tour in advance, I don't think I am at all typical.

I would like to have a detailed map of our route and the places we visit, within reason. If possible, this should not be limited to a simple road map, but also maps showing the basic battlefield placement and movement. Particularly in countries other than the US, maps are a critical element of how I learn and integrate the other information on the trip. However, having said that, the information supplied before and on the tours is generally excellent.

Only adverse comment is that the Mercure Amiens was not prepared for the number of people that appeared for breakfast, due perhaps to overlapping groups. But they could have prepared better for that and avoided a chaotic situation. But the location by the Cathedral was excellent!

Very fine service from all, and excellent tour design and content.

It satisfies my desire to learn more and more about these historical large currents and events and so to appreciate the service of military members. I recommend you to all my friends who have a military and/or historical interest. I thank you for providing four great tour learning experiences for Pat and myself. I am very happy for your success and growth. You are an important part of keeping this history alive and appreciated.

The food was fine. Serving 25 people at lunch takes a lot of time from the tour. Charlie was able to reduce the time a little by getting drink orders and other things in advance, then translating that information to wait staff or perhaps even sending it on ahead. I realize we were in France and we were almost all Americans, but I would hope the restaurants could be better prepared. Having said that, I don't think anyone was very troubled by it since it was a very friendly group and the meal time together was always enjoyable. I personally would have enjoyed a little extra time at the historical sites we visited, but don't suggest I'm typical.

We had this driver before on the Bulge tour and were glad to see him again. He was exceptionally good in driving the bus and always helpful and ready with luggage, water and in any other way.

Both were fine, but Ian was genuinely exceptional.

Charlie was great!. He was totally engaged, very friendly and could not have been more willing to help us in every way or to tackle any problem or difficulty anyone had. He is exceptional.

Our guide during the first part of the tour, Ian, was truly exceptional. His English and his friendliness and personality were special---hang on to him.

Truly outstanding. So much to see and so well done, I would have liked more time here.

Very special. Well worth the time that it took.

Very good and an excellent local guide

11-day Fields of World War I review

The best

I have already recommended Procom to many of my friends. Taking my tour catalog to a friend in Settle next week.

Remember you can not please everyone..

Excellent....drove through some very difficult spaces but appeared to do it easily, carefully and safely. Was always attentive if we needed water etc.

Excellent! Especially enjoyed Ian as he stayed with us even through the evening meal.

He had everything organized, well planed and he adjusted to a lot of teasing from the tour group. He had the answers to all questions and it was clear he was trying hard to accommodate all requests.

Excellent, was so informative

Hiking through the woods really brought it alive to me,

Decided not to go through the tunnels but was glad for the hike up to them and the sights around the area. Amazed to find spent shells from 100 years ago.

Delighted to see the cathedral

highlight of the tour

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

my only problem with Hotel Wemperhardt was it did not have a setup for Tea/coffee

It is all inclusive, including tipping at restaurants. You don't need to worry about anything except having a great time and being tired from doing so much each day

my only complaint was the individual german appetizers we received at our second restaurant. I feel that so much of it was wasted. It would have been better done as family style platters so we could take what we wanted to try instead of wasting what we didn't want.

I think the coach would be better with more wifi capability and better bathroom. Gabor was great! He is hepful, respectful and what a great driver!

Henri, was also very knowledgeable but sometimes difficult to understand.

Tour Guide, Nicole was phenomenal

didn't know anything about the Gliders, it was very interesting. The guide was very knowledgeable and interesting.

this was very interesting, our Tour Guide, Bruno, was phenomenal. The Belgian soldiers were so respectful and in awe of our tour mate, Dale ( a WW11 Vet).

this was my least favorite for obvious reasons, but it was very educational and I did like the sculptures and religious buildings that were built in honor of the victims.

Very interesting, but I wish it was on a different day so that the stores were open and we could have done some shopping

Only problem was the weather, it was cloudy and hard to see how high we were. Our tour Guide, Josh was on his first Tour and did a great job.

Eric was very knowledgeable but sometimes a bit too political

Great! He was so interesting and knowledgeable!

Great, so much knowledge and made everything so interesting with little tidbits of interesting facts.

Great job for his first time, had a lot of knowledge and explained everything well. A little too prepared for his tour with all the pictures, maybe trim down a few.

11-day Fields of World War I review

The Ypres hotel was nice. The hotel in Verdun was outstanding!! I would strongly suggest keeping this hotel down the road.

I’ve now done 4 tours and this WWI one was the best. The tunnels we visited .....plus the Maginot Line was perfect. The only thing is this — we are basically on the road all day. Need to make a stop at a grocery store or so on the way back to the hotel atnthe end of the day so people can pick various things up — snacks, water, wine, etc. we get back to the hotel late and then dinner is scheduled soon after returning so there is no time to hit a store. Also, many dinners were too early. 6pm? Too early for many participants, particularly when we would arrive back at the hotel 30 mins before.

Overall, the tour was amazing and we had no worries. The tour guides were always looking out for us and always counting heads. The bus drivers were excellent. We had no worries and it was very easy to sleep. I would recommend your tour for all of the reasons stated above and because of the amount of information is amazing to learn while at the places they took place.

Every meal brought something different and made me try all new local foods that were all amazing.

I felt that seeing where the men were shot was really cool. However, the muesem was not worth the whole hour.

Very satisfied

Overall, I was very impressed. I would have eliminated the museum some of guides in favor of being able to just explore on our own. The museums had excellent English information.

Didn't like the box lunch. Everything else was super.

Outstanding drivers

A little fast on the walk. Guide was excellent.

The guide was Italian and this was her first English tour.

Wish we had more time

The guide was boring and spoke too long.

The guide was difficult to understand and spoke too long.

Very attentive!

Excellent location on the Hotel Melba but it was a little too warm without AC. Novotel was not a convenient location in relation to Munich.

I thought I knew a lot about WW2 war history but I learned so much. I love sharing some of the stories I heard from the guides.

Good choices

Excellent driver and I felt safe the entire trip. A real professional.

An outstanding historian

What an outstanding Statesman

Thanks for not taking time to guide us thru the museum/information center. It was better to walk the grounds and understand the layout of the camp.

Excellent guide

Not really much to see here but it was interesting to visit. It was a lot smaller than I had envisioned.

Really gave a good description.

I really enjoyed the guide description and layout on the sands of Omaha. It helped understand the topography.

18-day Normandy to Berlin review

Perhaps more maps of the battlefields in each region.

Not great internet except for at the Nurnberg hotel and the Mercure Omaha Beach hotel. Great clean rooms.

Great for the price and outstanding managers, drivers, and guides the three most crucial pieces for a tour. Hotels were on the higher end and so were the places we ate most days. Locations were all very well chosen and greatly guided.

A couple extra items on the menu would always be appreciated although not always feasible for 30 people. I wasn't dissatisfied by any of the locations.

Janus and Charlie are amazingly good drivers in difficult areas to bus around in. Never felt unsafe with either of them in even potentially hazardous areas.

Both were in the position I was most worried about as a good one is key to a great trip. That being said both did a phenomenally good job neither one did anything that made me displeased with them and they really tried to get you the best possible tour they could. Sitting down and talking with them at diner or lunch was always a enjoyable highlight any time it happened.

18-day Normandy to Berlin review

We loved walking around, before or after dinner, in whatever town we were staying in. In some cities, it would have been great to be closer to shopping or sights but I realize location is also a function cost.

You people are professionals and good at what you. Tour was excellent and almost like "Work" but that's what we signed up for...wanted to LEARN a lot of history. You should use me as a reference. I checked your reference with past customers before I committed and you would receive very high quality referrals from me. I too, am a business executive and I know the power of a good referral. I would, unhesitatingly travel with Barry or Milan again.

Really well done. Appreciated the time we had some choice. Nice job.

I thought I read that the coaches had on-board electrical power. I never found it. Not a big deal. Wifi was limited. I kept hitting some daily limit but was really only keeping up with email, etc. Better Wifi would be a plus for those of us working while we travel

Hamburg was least favorite city. Just not that much war exposure. Coundn't access the flak tower.

museum guide was new..not the best..not your fault

loved the castle.

Museum presentation was just too long. Almost everyone had to take a break outside.

Guide, Henri was outstanding

Nice Hotel, Great location.

guide, Rudy was outstanding

loved it

These two are stars. We are used to Disney-cruise level hospitality and these two are outstanding. I know they are both new. You are lucky to have them and their care, concern and shepherding of us was excellent. Really liked their on-board commentary. It was obvious to see them working to keep us safe, on schedule, comfortable, etc.

Cloudy..no one's fault.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Only reason i gave Novotel 4 stars is that i got used to the smaller hotels and this big hotel wasnt as personable.

Overall I would say turn key! I have wanted to do this tour for a long time and couldnt have asked for a better trip. Barry really ties everything together from tour guide to tour guide and kept everyone on schedule without seeming pushy. Charlie(bus driver) was great as well. Scheduling team was on point and answered my numerous questions as we made are way up to the big day. I have already recommended this to many of my friends.

overall very good. i went and did my own thing a couple times but it wasnt due to the food choice just a different pace.

Bus driver was amazing and very cordial. He made all of our lives easier.

the guides made the trip what it was

Rudy was amazing

Since i just read about this i wish we had more time here along with someone to tell us about the roll the Gondree cafe played.

Really enjoyed Bruno

Steve was another amazing guide

only reason i give it a 4 was because the weather didnt work out for us

the guides made the trip what it was

the guides made the trip what it was

Only reason i give this a 4 is that it was a lot of on and off for may battlefields. It may have been better to thin down the number of stops and have a little more time at each stop

Rudy was amazing

great town. I went and ate on my own and enjoyed some time to walk around and look in some stores as well as go on the beach. another hour here would have been good.

I wish there was more time here. Seemed rushed.

Excellent all the way through

Excellent again, I especially liked the historical reports sent to me every couple of weeks.

Service was great. Room was comfortable and clean.

Better than we imagined it would be.

Would definitely recommend your tours. We'd like to go on another tour, just don't know which one or how we can find the funds to do so.

Outstanding. Much better than we expected.

Would be nice it there were more television monitors in the bus. I sat in the 5th row on the left and couldn't read anything on the screen and seeing the screen past the heads of people in front of me was more than difficult.

This was where my father-in-law came on shore on D-Day. My wife and I had been to Utah Beach in 2016 but needed someone with historical knowledge to really help us understand what he went through. Very much appreciated the info provided by the tour guide/historian.

While this was very interesting it would be nicer if the restaurant was replaced by a museum. I realize this is not something you can do.

In Day 1 I had difficulty understanding what she was telling us but on day two I understood it all! Don't know how this can be improved though.

11-day Third Reich review

In regards to the Munich portion of this trip, I was not advised nor did I receive any information in regards to the change at Obersalzberg. 2/3 of the tour were canceled due to construction. I didn't even realize that touring the remains of Hitler's Berghof and the a small museum with a unique video was canceled until everybody started walking towards the bus. I asked Milan what's going on and why is everybody heading towards the bus? I then find out that these two areas were closed. Were going back to the hotel. I was pissed! I have been waiting 3 years to get back here to solve a couple of questions that only being there could solve. How long did you know that these areas were closed?

I liked all the hotels. Munich because of all the airport pictures including the one in my room. Furth being my favorite of all of them due to the little park with an ice cream stand at the entrance and the very busy train station two blocks away. While the Maritim over all was very nice, the bed was like something out of Walmart when compared to the previous hotels. The pillows were so ultra soft that even with 4 pillows stacked together, I still hit my head on the head board. But the location of the Maritim was excellent. After each dinner, I walked into the Tiergarten and viewed Brandenburg's Gate [during a soccer game with hundreds of people in the street]and the Russian memorial.

Organized and stick to the schedule! Having traveled three times now, I pretty sure of what to expect. I would likely recommend procom to others.

All the meals I ate were great. I read something from procom about increasing the portion size...….are you nuts? It took a lot of effort and determination to keep the amount I ate under control. But everything was delicious.

Wouldn't change a thing. Had problems with the wifi but over all the ride was great.

I truly enjoyed the boat ride as I have a boat myself. Hamburg is a great city. I was happy to take the subway back and the miniature train/airport museum. Also within a 10 minute walk from the hotel is a park along the water. I went there each night after dinner. For that alone, the hotel was in a great location. I would return to Hamburg on my own.

I liked the tour of Dachau 3 years ago. This seemed a little rushed but it did focus on different areas than 3 years ago.

Again was a little different than 3 years ago. In this particular case, I was glad we didn't have free time after the tour.

Was not able to hear anything they said. Can't provide any reviews.

It was fascinating to stand in the same spot that Hitler did.

I'm glad we went there but it was a big let down for me. Everything was in German. Nothing in English. Not being able to hear the guide, I lost a ton of information. But I did wonder off and found the rail yard for DB so that eased the annoyance. I wouldn't go back.

Other than the rail yard I found, I wouldn't go back. However, I would go back to Furth as explained previously. I just remembered, there is a larger beautiful park across the street [in front/ not behind as mentioned] With beautiful walking paths and a small lake. It is clearly used for concerts and other "stuff." I walked it in the morning of our departure. To me, Furth over rules Nuremburg.

The museum has an excellent collection and display of tanks. But tanks are my "thing." Fortunately, many displays had information in English.

This was also a good stop and not just for the Conference but the places surrounding it. Several months prior to the tour I submitted a request to drive through certain areas near Potsdam. When we left Potsdam and headed north, I assumed we'd take a easterly route passed the Luftwaffe Aviation Museum [Gatow] but instead and to my surprise we took the westerly route [Route 2] and drove through a little town called Gross Glienicke. In the town is a gate [TOR] and I was able to snap a couple of pics while we drove by. I was very happy to have done this...kinda balanced out Obersalzburg.

I enjoyed walking to these site and it is fortunate that I had knowledge of these places. But I still lost a ton of info from the guides. But it is with this tour that I was able to walk back into the Tiergarten and return on my own.

I enjoyed Checkpoint Charlie and the replica of the Berlin Wall security zone.

The loss of touring the Berghof and the other areas, this will stick in my head for a while. Although I enjoyed going back up to the Eagles Nest in horrible weather. When I was there 3 years ago, it was 85 and sunny with a gorgeous view. The opposite in weather was interesting.....too me.

I would go back to this place as I didn't have enough time to view the entire place. But I was able to seek out info on White Rose so that was good enough for the time being.

18-day Normandy to Berlin review

Would definitely recommend. Quality of the tour guides in general, the pace of the tour were acceptable.

At Leo's, apparently chicken cordon blue was ordered, we didn't get it. Then we had a hamburger can get that anywhere. Would have preferred something local to the area (pasta?)

Charlie was very personable. Janus was quiet and didn't mix with the group. He and Milan would always eat separately.

Too much time at restaurant.

Rudy was an excellent guide. Would not have been as good without him.

Not enough time to enjoy this Memorial

Once again our guide really made this come to life.

Guide very knowledgeable and interesting.

Emotional visit.

The site spoke for itself. The guide supplied personal information.

Guide was good but had a hard time filling 2 hours.

We had a woman, not Jason

First tour for the guide and it showed.

Late in day and too much information. We had already seen the tanks in Bastogne.

Would have preferred to do this tour without the guide.

Guide was excellent.

Guide once again excellent.

Rudy was an excellent guide. Would not have been as good without him.

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

The Procom travel consultant was very helpful. The "my Trip" online feature was helpful and got us even more excited about the trip.

The amount and quality of the information Procom provided was excellent. Again, it made us even more excited about the trip, leading up to the trip.

On the hotels: The hotel at Bastogne was very good, the only drawback was no A/C. All other hotels were excellent. Favorite hotel was the Novotel .

Outstanding!

Recommending: We have already recommended this tour to family, neighbors and friends!

"motor coach and driver" - The driver was amazing! The coach could have had wi-fi though.

Charlie Koves was professional ,knowlegable, and just the best tour manager we could have hoped for. He dealt with all issues (like checking into hotels) was invaluable. He Pegasus Bridge, which was a stroke of genius!

Henri was also a very good guide.

"Bastogne Battlefield Tour"- Amazing. Being able to get in the foxholes was just sobering and impactful.

"Bastogne War Museum" - Loved the interactive audio.

"Luxembourg American Cemetery" Patton's grave was a must see.

"Dachau Concentration Camp" - I was looking forward to being moved by this. Unfortunately our local guide (Steve) wanted to stand outside and give lecture, lol. Most customers on the tour knew history already, or we wouldn't have come. And we wanted to BE there... EXPERIENCE it... walk the footsteps... get the feelings... instead we stood around a lot with Steve, and was physically hard to stand for those long periods. But, Dachau was an important stop.

"Munich sights" - We LOVED Munich! It was amazing. We were so surprised how much we enjoyed the city. We could never have known that before, and now do. One negative was all the walking and talking of the local guide Steve. He should have helped us experience the trip, and I appreciated his knowledge... just would have liked less talking and more soaking it in.

"Eagle’s Nest" - This was HIGHLIGHT of the trip for me, and all the other placed were WONDERFUL, but the Eagle's Nest went even better. We absolutely LOVED the free time to wander and see all the views. We were so lucky with the weather too. Koves (Charlie) was so smart/experienced to get us there early. We were able to get up with little wait time. When we came down we saw other tourists ahving to wait in long lines, but Koves (Charlie) knew exactly how to get the most out of this excursion.

Steve was very knowledgeable, but he needs to understand why people go on these trips. We don't want to stand around. We want to go out and experience. Too much standing and lecturing.

Christophe was knowledgeable. Only complaint is we wanted to spen more time at Omaha.

"Pointe du Hoc" - OMG, it was just amazing! Loved being able to walk around. Chistophe was a very good guide.

"Arromanches, Mulberry Harbour" - we spent too much time there at the expense of Omaha Beach. The harbor was great, but it did cut into the time at Omaha

"Normandy American Cemetery and Omaha Beach" - Unforgettable. We would have liked to have spent more time at Omaha Beach.

"Longues-sur-Mer battery" - Awesome - it's such an iconic site that you've seen on TV, and now actually got to be there. Going into gun emplacements was unforgettable.

"St Marie-du-Mont, Utah Beach, Brécourt Manor" - Amazing! Loved walking on Utah Beach!

"St-Mére-Èglise" - beautiful iconic town - loved being there

Mathias was a very good guide.

5-day Normandy Invasion review

I would totally recommend this tour to everyone, it was my husband who knew more about the History, but it was so interesting that I actually had a great time learning.

Can’t remember the drivers name, but he was fantastic.

We switched at the last minute to Barry’s group and he was excellent

Very pleased with Procom

Very thorough your catalog is well organized and very helpful

You guys did a great job....pat yourself on the back!!!!!!

Definately, The pace of the tour was great. Well organized and am planning my next trip with procom,

I loved the restaurants you took us too. Good food but sometimes I had could not finish it...I am not used to 3 full meals a day.....Honestly great job on the meals

Again this is Barry's group....The driver (forgot his name) could have interacted more with the group....took him a while to loosen up a little. I do have to compliment the driver on his driving skills....outstanding on turning the bus at the small intersections

All the sights were outstanding. I enjoyed the chance to do some walking for the exercise after the scrumptous meals.

Wow!!!!! what a cathedral

Incredible and very memorable..the names and ages gave a human face to these brave men...Appreciated seeing LaCambe (German graves)

Gave me a good perspective of the distance between omaha and

Like strolling through the town

Those guns were impressive...These guns symbolize the german defensive at Normandy

5-day Normandy Invasion review

Some tour participants were upset with food and room size. The brochure clearly stated that rooms would be smaller than most americans are used to. The food was just fine.......the Normandy beaches are rather remote with limited food/restaurant selections....lets also not forget it was June 6th.

Crowded, but tour hotels are often crowded

This tour is excellent for those interested in WW2 history. Lots of detail regarding units, leaders and "side stories" The Dead Man's Corner site was fantastic with the simulator, house museum/dioramas. Good job with "then and now" photo displays. Please count this evaluation as 2 respondents. Fred and Chere Hill

I think some of the restaurants were overwhelmed......not prepared for the group. Also must consider that Americans want everything fast. I did expect more "French" dishes rather than Italian or american style steak.

Coach was very cramped. Driver was always safe and pleasant

Great museum especially gliders, aircraft and the original bridge

excellent guide, the staff led me to a grave so I could place a flag on the grave of a fallen soldier from our hometown.

Great museum

First stop is always the best

Milan did a great job. I know he put in many more hours making us comfortable than we realize. I think the disorganization of the evening restaurants (except hippopotomus) put Milan in a tough spot.

Great bunker sites and museum

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

Consultants were very helpful; chatting was almost immediate, and they answered all my questions competently and in good humor!

All the information regarding the countries we were going to visit, common phrases, etc. was extremely interesting and helpful. The checklist was great and helped me to feel prepared.

The Hotel ibis Caen Centre was understaffed. The gentleman at the front desk tried to help us with any requests we had (laundry, etc.) but he was only one person and couldn't help everyone at the same time! He tried very hard to be helpful.

An excellent tour that hit all the spots we were interested in. Procom has thought of everything to make a tour informative as well as enjoyable.

Our driver was another "Charlie" (I did not get his last name). He was an excellent driver and we felt very comfortable riding with him.

Charlie Koves is the best! Somehow he manages to make his work look easy, and I know it is not easy herding around a group of 42 people. He is engaged with each member of the group, always checking to make sure everyone is doing okay. He is a true teacher/historian, and so capable of presenting information to a group that is a moving target at times. His communication skills are outstanding.

11-day Fields of World War I review

Niki was great help with recommendations and planning

Some sites we visited were not on the advanced itinerary, and others on the itinerary we never visited.

Just a more accurate list of sites we were visiting each day

Verdun hotel needs to upgrade there Wifi setup. Was unable to send or upload anything over 1mb, and system was slow.

Another great tour and looking forward to many more as long as prices don't get out of my "affordable" range.

I don't know a lot about WWI so this tour gave me a better understanding of what took place and what life must have been like. I was amazed at how the trenches and tunnels are so well preserved now over 100 years old. This tour provided more then what I was excepting to see!

Overall the meals were good, at times it would have been nice to have the ability to order a la carte. The Risotto lunch at the Reims Italian restaurant was a bad choice, would have been nice have had spaghetti or lasagna after eating beef, chicken, or fish all week. Also, one lunch that was all cheese with a bit of meat wasn't a good choice as everyone was sleepy by the time we arrived at the next site.

Our driver is the best, amazed how he gets that huge bus around those narrow streets. Bus needs a new Wifi system, was unable to connect during the whole tour.

Both guides did an outstanding job of providing detailed information about the sites and battles. Both were a wealth of knowledge

Charlie did a great job!

Nice city to start in.

Nice layout

Good sites

Enjoyed the tunnel and viewing the memorial

Great walk around the park

Nice layout

This was fun to do!

Very cool to see in person!

Great Cathedral

Small, but special to see the rail car

breakfast was fine at Mercure, however dinners were very low quality and tasteless. two bartenders did not know what a martini was, had to explain and then drink was put into a water glass.

very nice time, informative, learned more about various sites. yes

found some meals too heavy, lunches did not need to be a lot of meat. salad bar lunch at several places were very nice, but then also gave meat and french fries, which weren't needed. cut back on amount of food and lower price of trip somewhat. have more local foods.

Great people.

In Verdun, the TV was broken and they never fixed it. Ariane was really nice. Good people. The Crowne Plaza was nice, but the printer didn't work (for the past six weeks) and it's not really close to Paris if you want to stay longer.

I vote with my money. I am going on three more tours this year and look forward to continued travel with ProcomTours!

Excellent. Learned a lot about WWI and saw some great sites.

Seats could be a little more comfortable. It was always clean and the driver was first rate! A reall gentleman.

Ian should be teaching at a University! What an awesome Guy and great human being! Outstanding! Guillaume had a hard act to follow. He could be a little monotone, but a true gentleman and knowledgable.

Charlie was awesome! Kept the tour on time and on target. Always trying to accommodate and thoughtful of our concerns and needs.

The Canadian Girls at the park are always wonderful representatives of Canada. Awesome hosts!

Whenever I called, your crew answered every question I had. Very professional.

Excellent job. Made us look forward to the trip.

Hotels were great. The food at the Rilano was as good as the first two hotels.

Very satisfied

The tour was great. The tour covered everything I wanted on the tour. Everyone was so informative and helpful. I would like BBof B Tour to offer all the photos taken on the tour. I'd be willing to pay for the photos.

Meals were great. However, the meals at the restaurant in Bastogne served too much pasta.

I have no negative comments. We really enjoyed the water provided on the bus trips.

Very knowledgable

Excellent

It was amazing. You can't really see the real picture until you're there in person.

Thank you. I've seen the History Channel's recreation of this event several times and this really brings everything into prespective.

I really enjoyed it.

Great Museum

Smaller than I pictured. Good information received

Everyone should see these camps.

Very informative. The weather could have cooperated

2nd time there. Looks completely different with the clouds.

It's great to see the other views of the battle.

Everything I wanted to see and more

It's amazing it's still there.

What a difference from the other beaches.

5-day Normandy Invasion review

Calling it a "5 day" tour is deceptive. Really only 3.

Our room types were very different for same price we paid. In town to facilitate shopping/sightseeing etc would've been nice.

Access to special places beyond normal is essential to make money feel worthwhile, so was good. Amount of information was good. Wasn't a geriatric tourist draw. Not stuffed into a bus barely big enough. Listening devices helped everyone hear the guides even if not right in front of them. Super important. Need shopping time in non tourist trap shops.

The set menu places were bland, the places where we had a choice between a couple items was better.

Need charging plugs for phones etc and it'd been about perfect.

He is awesome!

Were not aware of the times we would be in underground tunnels, might have packed an additional jacket

Love the Ariane & the Les Jardins du Mess.

Tour was very well laid out, enjoyed not having to move from hotel to hotel so much. My recommendation would be for someone who enjoys history and wants to understand what happened on the Western Front, you will not find a better tour or tour operator.

I can only say they portions were more than generous. It takes a while for us Americans to become used to taking 1-1/2-2 hours for a meal.

Both were excellent, really enjoyed Ian sense of humor.

Goes above & beyond to see that everyone is accommodated

Enjoyed this little town, people very friendly

Second time here, enjoyed taking my time to read everything instead of staying with the guided tour

Eon was great, I thought I had an excellent guide last year on the Two Wars tour but Eon was even better.

Local guide did a fine job.

Local guide was excellent, made the cathedral come to life

Nothing to be said about the Band of Brothers but this museum was not done as well as others.

11-day Fields of World War I review

Debra Watkins has always been super-helpful.

Extremely well done, except that the hotels were not listed for my tour so I had to ask Debra for the information.

Names, addresses, phone, and emails for hotels so I can put it on the itinerary I create for my family members to know where I'll be and how to contact me if necessary.

Food at Mercure Amiens wasn't as good as the others. Loved having a regular blanket (instead of the ubiquitous and always too hot European duvet) available at Hotel Ariane.

The tour did an excellent job of providing both broad and deep exposure to the most important aspects of World War I battles on the Western front. I learned a lot about that war that I did not know before. I would recommend it to anyone who has some interest in World War I. I did get a little tired of the constant stream of memorials and cemeteries. Those are important, of course, for many reasons. One of the most important is that they really drove home the incredible scale of the conflict, the human losses, and the immense number of missing and unidentified casualties. The descriptions of how the French, Commonwealth, Americans, and Germans handled their cemeteries and dead was also insightful. But I found it kind of boring wandering around Yet Another Cemetery for half an hour looking at various graves of certain individuals. I would rather spend a little more time on battlefields and museums than on cemeteries and memorials.

Breakfasts were always fine. Please try to have a nice portion of vegetables, salad, or fruit available at each main meal. Some meals were based on mushrooms, which I do not like, meaning that I couldn't eat a goodly portion of those entrées. It would be fine to cut back on the meat a little bit. Meals consumed a lot of time. It worked great the one day that Charlie called ahead with our drink orders and entrée selections to speed things up. I recommend doing that more often. Also, it might save time and be a nice change occasionally to have a simpler, maybe sandwich-based lunch instead of a largish, hot meal each time.

As was my previous tour, the seats get a little uncomfortable on the long travel days. They're pretty firm. Otherwise, the coach was fine.

Ian was the best guide I've ever encountered.

Charlie was terrific. First-rate job!

Great meals but spent too much time for lunch meals.

How he could get that coach into those tight corners is a mystery. Always friendly with guests.

11-day Fields of World War I review

I was extremely pleased with all the hotels the tour company selected. I liked staying downtown in walking distances of the old city centers in all cases (except Charles de Gaulle Crowne Plaza on last night of course).

No problems, and even if there were any, I'm sure Charlie and the rest would work to fix them.

I highly recommend Procom and the Band of Brothers, and will use them again.

Food was excellent. My only comment is that the meals, especially lunch, but occasionally dinner, take too much time when I could be out wandering the city centers or countryside. I do not drink alcohol, so that is part of it, and they are not excessive by European or even normal American time lengths, but I would like to have more free time then a long meal. Maybe have one free dinner period for the tour participants to figure out there own dinner choices in each city that we stop in.

Janusc (sp?) was an outstanding, safe and competent driver. He even cleans the vehicle on our breaks to make sure it is always sparkling clean. Very pleased with him and the quality of the tour bus.

Iain is outstanding, from both a tour guide, published historian, and ex-military perspective. Keep getting him. Guillaume is wonderful for the way he adds "French flavor" to the tour, in addition to his excellent knowledge of the Ardennes region. Keep him too!

Csaba Koves (Charlie) does an excellent job of herding the tour participants. Keep him happy!

4.5 because part of museum was under renovation. Otherwise I'd give it a 5.

The food at the Mercure Amiens hotel was mediocre.

the tour was very interesting and informative. would have liked a little more free time to explore or shop.

Most meals were excellent, however the meals at the hotel in Amiens were pretty bad. Some of the breakfasts had undercooked bacon and mushy eggs. Meals at outside restaurants were very good. Lunches were too large and left you too full.

Would like to see jacks at each seat for phones or tablets. have snacks available.

Both were very good, however, Guillaume was occasionally difficult to understand. He was not as personable as Iain.

Charlie was very good and personable. He tried to accommodate everyone's needs and concerns.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

No air conditioning was an issue in Hotel Melba. However, I understand this is the culture of many European hotels. There was an odor in the bathroom at the Best Western hotel. The best hotel was the Rilano in Munich.....air conditioning and washcloths! We had a good selection of food at all three hotels. The staff was top notch at all three hotels.

The tour was very organized, and Rob did an excellent job of keeping the tour running smoothly. The sites visited were amazing and gave a clear picture of the major events of WWII. I would like to have also visited Auschwitz, even though it would have been heart-wrenching.

Peter and Rob paid very close attention to all of the rules governing speed and time between rest stops. I felt very safe with Peter at the wheel.

Rudy was excellent! I learned so much from him, and Iespecially loved all of the anecdotal stories of real men and women who were part of WWII.

Excellent resource since he actually lived close to Bastogne during the time of the war.

The special laying of the wreath by our military tourists was very moving.

Would have liked some free time to explore Munich. We had to choose between a walking tour of Munich, or have free time. I would like to have had both.

Robert was also a genius, on the level of Rudy! Robert’s dry-wit personality really helped on the afternoon he was with us because it rained heavily the entire afternoon.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

All accomodations were different depending on location, but lovely and very friendly. Meals were great, and staff very receptive to requests.

Robert was a very efficient and caring host

Have already recommended the tour because of many factors. Primary is the excellent tour speakers, then the great driver and tour manager, and hotel and meal accomodations.

Meals were wonderful. Our only complaint is simple. My husband does not drink alcohol, but DOES drink diet soda. He got his hopes up with the idea of unlimited soft drinks, but it really was hard to get diet soda everywhere on the trip. Am sure that that is a European issue.

We were "locked in" to the seats on the bus when we arrived. The only other bus tour we have taken (Insight) we were told to move a row forward each day. This would have been great. All would get a chance at the front of the bus.

Rudy is probably the best guide we have ever had as far as putting events into historical perspective. He is the BEST story teller ever-makes history very personable by putting events into common vernacular.

Henri knows EVERYTHING about the various regiments and where they were stationed. His energy and vitality, as well as love of his country and region are amazing.

Pierre was SO knowledgeable and a joy to listen to. His recollection of facts and ability to climb hills belies his years. What a wonderful and involved host.

So lucky to have had an excellent guide.

Extremely informative day-was dreading the horror of the Dachau but the exhibits were intense and put the awful circumstances into historical perspective.

Robert Johnson was an exceptional guide to Dachau AND the walking tour of Munich, done during a raging thunderstorm that was unrelenting. He is an extremely gifted guide as he is knowledgeable, finds basic humanity in all situations, and is able to articulate what the human toll of WWII was. GREAT guide!

Food great, weather so crummy that we saw nothing. What a crazy effort in futility this endeavor was, and so very sad.

Rudy was AMAZING in his knowledge and passion for D-Day. Only downside was the weather which was very cold, windy and rainy, just as our troops encountered on June 6, 1945.

Robert was not only knowledgeable but really attuned to the questions that Americans would ask, a real bonus. His greatest gift is the ability to put the horrors of WWII into perspective and explain why atrocities were allowed. He is an EXCEPTIONAL speaker, and I give him all of the credit in the world for sticking with the walking tour of Munich during a driving thunderstorm that brought the city to a standstill. Robert is the BEST!

11-day Fields of World War I review

The consultant, my trip site, and upkeep of information was great

I was impressed with the amount of varied information I received from procom prior to the tour about the hotels, those on the tour, tips and tricks, and general information

Excellent first time experience with this company. From the set up, to the pretour information, to the tour itself, everything was very well done.

The Fields of World War I tour was incredible. It mixed the details leading up to, during, and after the Great War wonderfully. The cemetaries, museums, and preserved battle areas really drove home the incredible costs both militarily and civilian wise to those involved in it. I would definitely recommend Fields of WWI to anyone who loves history and wishes to learn about the tragedy of those who fought and died for their country on both sides

SMALLER lunches or lunch time to explore areas of towns especially Reims, maybe Metz, etc.

Janos is a very skilled driver who handled the bus impressively well maneuvering and handling. He was prompt, the bus was cleaned regularly, and he was always very friendly

Ian was absolutely incredible, very informative, passionate, and a font of information and humor. Guillaume was great at putting it all together and showed a love for his area

Charlie was absolutely outstanding at coordinating everything, accommodating us, and showing his own knowledge and information on the subject, the area, and history in general

The sites were moving, awe inspiring and intense. Definitely a fascinating start to the tour

Very well done, shame the add on wasn't finished about the non WWI history

Stunning and impressive

Fascinating

Humbling, stunning

Very informative

Very well done

Great variety of humbling monuments

Lovely historical city and area very different from Somme and Ypres

Great area

Fascinating place that would be great to see more of the bunker

Beautiful city that would have been nice to see more of as opposed to a long lunch

Very impressive if partly closed

5-day Normandy Invasion review

Awesome accommodations! We loved our room overlooking the river. (Room 105).

Best vacation I've ever been on. I've told my friends to ask for Barry and Nicole. They make an awesome team.

It was nice being chauffeured around.

Nicole made the trip worthwhile. She took us into the churches, sat with us at lunch, and walked us through the Normandy American Cemetery. At times I felt like she lived there in 1944.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Air Conditioning: Neither the Best Western Hotel nor the Hotel Melba had air conditioning.

The tour was excellent. The Tour Manager and the various local Guides provided wonderful narratives and insights for each element of our tour. And every item on our itinerary "came true". Nothing was overlooked. The experience was completely and happily satisfying.

Our driver provided a very comfortable and safe trip. I appreciated his diligence in conforming with the regulations.

Although a heavy rain storm with thunder made our 2-hour walking tour of Munich miserable, but we forged ahead anyway!

Although dense fog obscured the view of the Alps.

N/A - I didn't participate in the Dachau portion of our tour because I had been there once before and found it too disturbing to see again.

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

Everyone was wonderful!! Charlie and Charlie went out of their way to make our trip comfortable and fun!

LOVED the staff at Hotel Melba!!! Novotel also had very friendly and helpful staff. The location of all the hotels were excellent!

Great service all the way around!!

when we booked the budget tour I wasn't expecting much but the tour blew me away! All the tour guides, Charlie's additional information and all the places we got to see were first rate!

Charlie, our driver was AWESOME!! He blew me away with how he got in and out of places. I felt confident in his ability the entire time. Charlie was also personable and funny. Amazing all around!

Charlie is FANTASTIC!!! He went out of his way to help in any way he could. He was kind enough to sit with us and give us recommendations for Berlin. I heard after the tour was over that there had been drama with a few travelers and I had no idea. Obviously Charlie diffused the situation because we had no idea. Charlie has a great sense of humor and made us laugh quite often. Loved all his historical information and the way he presented it. He is AMAZING!!!

If I could give Henri 10 stars I would. He is AMAZING!!!! I loved all his stories, all his information and the way he delivered it. He is wonderful!! We would love his video that we watched in the bus if it is available to purchase.

Henri is AMAZING!!!!! His personal stories and knowledge of the area makes the tour unforgettable!!!

Great museum, love everything about it. The memorial there is also beautiful and worth a visit.

Beautiful and the perfect amount of time spent there.

a very sobering experience, you hear about all of these places but actually being there and hearing stories and events bring it all to life. I found myself fighting back tears and forcing myself to listen to be respectful to all those that died there. I believe everyone should see one of the Concentration Camps.

The walking tour was beautiful but too long. There needs to be some kind of break if you are going to keep the tour as long as it was with our group. We didn't have any free time during the day in Munich and that was disappointing.

AMAZING experience and Beautiful Views!

Great information but, was disappointed that we didn't have more time to go through the museum at Dachau. The walking tour in Munich was too long. By the end of the tour I had stopped listening. I did enjoy walking around Munich I just wish it had been a bit shorter.

Great information

Amazing experience and a MUST see!!

Beautiful views, wonderful little town and plenty of opportunities for museums, shopping or just sitting down to enjoy the view.

This cemetery is beautiful and so special, a MUST for all World War II tours.

Extraordinary experience being able to walk around and in the Longues-sur-Mer battery.

We were thrilled to see Brecourt Manor, a little disappointed we weren't allowed to look at the actual historic area but, understood why. I still feel it's worth visiting. Utah Beach is a must and so is St. Marie-du-Mont.

Beautiful little town a must see on a World War II tour!

great information, loved his personal stories and connection to Normandy

Satisfied

The WiFi on the bus is limited and we were not provided with transportation to the airport on the final day. Our plane was at 1:00 o’clock pm and put your guide said that since our flight was later that the other flights that we would need to find our own transportation to the airport

It was a phenomenal tour with a great group of people. I am for sure going to do another one with your company

Wish there was a bit more variety. We had a ton of chicken it seemed

Driver was phenomenal. Bud was great just wish there wasn’t such a tight bandwidth limit with the WiFi

Fantastic!

Cemetery was fantastic but Omaha was rather short for my liking. I think we should have spent more time there

Food was not good in Munich hotel I thought. But all rooms were good

This was exactly what you advertised. No complaints Yes, I’d recommend it to anyone who wanted a WW1 tour

Wonderful job

I would have rather kept sights and lectures to only WW1. —even if it would have been from a bus. “Here is where....”

I would have liked to have seen more in Berchtesgaden

To many monument only stops

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

They were great very helpful with any questions or concerns.

Fantastic, loved all the info actually helped to get us more excited about the tour. Having the full itinerary along with all the other information was great!

I thought all of the hotels were great, I would like to have Air Conditioning at the Bastogne Hotel. I thought all of the Hotels were nice, clean and modern. I loved the Bastogne Hotel (Location and staff were terrific!) just wished they would have had Air. Caen & Munich Hotels were in a great location with plenty of food options and shopping near by.

Loved it! So much better than I had expected, I was worried being with a group, but Charlie Koves made it a world class trip and a trip of a lifetime!

Loved it, would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in going on a tour. The mix of planned days, events and tours with free time was great, better than I could have hoped. I miss it so much! Wish we were still touring! Walking in the footsteps, standing where history took place... those moments and places were really special and I will remember them always. Great Value! Great hotels, Great Guides!

Charlie was an amazing driver, don't know how he was able to navigate those tiny roads. Great attitude, had drinks up front, always had a smile... Great with the bags, True professional driver!

Charlie was the best tour guide ever! Charlie made the tour even better, he made it a trip of a lifetime by adding what he does, smoothing everything out, giving advice, tips, heads up, etc. Checking us into hotels, getting everyone together at the beginning and at the end to thank us and to get to know each other. His sense of humor, his planning, his attention to detail. We all thought, and think Charlie is a tremendous guide! Adding Angoville au Plain and Pegasus Bridge to the days stops for a quick see. Really made it even more special for me. Thank you Charlie!

Henri was very nice, sweet guy. Knowledgeable and really added to the tour.

We did this tour because we're history buffs & love Band of Brothers... The Book, the Mini Series. all of it. Standing next to the fox holes, walking through the trees, just wow. hair standing up on my arms. Like Omaha, Utah, St. Mere Eglise!

A really nice museum that I would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Very nice and humbling, Beautiful a nice addition on the trip from Bastogne to Munich. Seeing Patton's grave site and the monuments etc. Very nice.

Moving and disturbing and so many emotions. It was unbelievable to see it close up. To walk through the crematorium was unnerving. The only set critique from this day was the guide. It was extremely knowledgeable no doubt, just wished we could have moved around more when he was giving us the 30-minute lectures and seen more of the camp. We stood outside the camp and he spoke for at least 30-40 minutes just on the political build up to this camp. Just wished we could have moved around more, we could do it slowly...

Tremendous! Never knew Munich was a beautiful as it is. Loved the Hofbrauhaus and the Marienplatz and Odeonsplatz! That's saying something as the guide was once again a talker, I felt he did better with the afternoon session as we were able to walk through the city while on his diatribes.

Just wow! A must stop, knew this was one of the highlights of our trip. We got so lucky with the weather. Charlie was the man once again, getting us to the station around 10am... perfect timing! Also coming back to munich the other way was great as we got to see another side of the Bavarian Alps! Still can't believe the sights and pictures. Loved hiking all over the Eagle's Nest! Only drawback was only a few rooms to see, but they've demolished the other rooms, nothing you can do there. My advice do this for every trip! Get there by 10, come back the other way around the mountain. Tremendous!! Thank you Charlie!

Steve was ok. He is extremely knowledgeable and an expert. I just wish we could have moved more, especially at Dachau where we ran out of time to see things because he spent 30-45 minutes on a history lesson, before we ever got into the place. That being said, I thought the walking tour in the afternoon was better.

Very knowledgeable excellent guide. Would definitely recommend keeping this guy!

Breathtaking, could not believe how beautiful it was. This was one of the main reasons we took this tour, not necessarily Point du Hoc but walking and standing in the same footsteps of history.

Beautiful little town, had no idea it was that picturesque.

Just Incredible, standing there, in a place I've seen in Movies, Documentaries, etc was surreal. Definite a highlight of the tour. I do wish we could have spent more time at Omaha Beach. That's my only criticism.

Seeing the Pill boxes was great and touring the inside of one as well. Seeing the gun emplacements as well as walking along the fields.

Tremendous day as well,,, I'm going to say the same things over and over, We made this trip to walk in the foot steps. Wish we could have seen more of Brecourt Manor, But I completely understand its a private farm. **Adding Angoville au Plain was great! The church where the american medics were honored, great addition!

One of my favorites on the day, Standing in the church square was another one of those moments for me. Growing up watching the Longest Day I stared at the church & square for the longest time. and I loved the town, great food too! ****Pegasus Bridge!!! Thank you so much for that Charlie! That was a big one for me. again, standing in the same place where it all went down. Thank you so much!

Matias was probably my favorite. He had me hooked from the get go. Accent was a big thick, but this guy knew his stuff and I really enjoyed him.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

All five-star for our purposes. Nice locations, clean, comfortable, good food and beverage.

I have written you of my impressions in an email. I have already recommended it to others ... yes, tours are somewhat expensive, but that does not mean they are not a good value. The carefree (for us) logistics, transportation, meals & accommodations, and expert guidance all come at a price, and I think it was money well spent.

Given a large group, I was very pleased with the choices.

see above

Terrific guide and small museum; wish we'd had a little more time in the museum.

Superlative, with excellent guidance and sufficient time.

Unexpected, fascinating.

Steve is outstanding. Would like to have had a little more quiet time there, but it would have been difficult to carve out.

Steve might want to make a small map of the high points along with a paragraph on each, maybe with a timeline: "Munich in the 1920s."

see above

Again, an excellent guide in Henri. Good touring strategy for limited time frame.

I would say this about all three: encyclopedic knowledge and infectious enthusiasm; I could not have been more pleased.

Five stars, except ... Would allow a little purely "quiet time" to walk on Omaha Beach, 45 minute perhaps, after lunch.

The 360-degree 9-screen movie presentation was powerful and worthwhile.

There is not a lot there, but would not want to leave it out.

I have already written you about Milan.

The Merville Battery would be a good addition.

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

The consultant was quick to respond to any questions that I had. The only complaint I have is that they didn't notify me that my initial payment wasn't processed by the bank.

The staff @ Ibis Styles Ouistreham weren't the friendliest/most helpful. The rooms were quite small (even compared to other European hotels & hostels that I've stayed in). The staff @ the other 2 hotels were very helpful & polite.

I would recommend the tour because of the reasonable price & the variety of sites visited.

John was always very courteous & I felt very safe with him behind the wheel.

Henri's story was quite remarkable & his knowledge of the area was great!

I didn't not go here, but instead went to the 101st Airborne Museum.

I truly enjoyed Eric's walking tour of Munich. He was also very informative when we visited Dachau.

Alex, our local guide, was very knowledgeable & added to the visit.

Alex helped put the sites into context (both locally & within the larger European campaign).
