5-day Normandy Invasion review

The information was complete and helpful. I did not receive emails related to filling out my information and the requested timelines. If I hadn't checked my trip log, I wouldn't have known that I had information to fill out.

see previous statement. During the trip, the daily itinerary was well discussed and timely.

All aspects were handled smoothly and well.

Will recommend Procom and BBoB to my history-loving friends. Made the sites accessible and easy to get around. Didn't have to worry about where to go, how to get there, or what to see. Nice to simply walk into the museums. All entrance fees taken care of, all meals taken care of - nice way to travel!

Great breakfasts!! Lunches were a treat and in very nice restaurants. Hidden gem at the farmhouse near the BoB memorial. Great dinner at the Bayeux restaurant.

Very nice bus. Wifi worked well.

Father in law was a D Day vet, on Omaha Beach.

Actually allowed to walk across the original bridge! To see the spot where the gliders landed - incredible.

Nice room. Great location.

Thank you to all the heroes. Proud to be an American.

Thank you, Rangers.

The most awe-inspiring place on the entire tour.

History came alive looking at the church and the square.

comfortable but small room. Nice breakfasts. The fresh fruit was excellent.

Great to see the memorial. Had a wonderful lunch near there.

One of the best museums we visited.

Flight simulation was well done. Amazing to walk thru the house/museum.

Solemn and well thought out.

Well done film.

Amazing amount of history is such a small place.

Gabriela did a fine job. Personal and caring.

Great audio tour. .

Friendly, efficient and safe.

Great sense of humor, along with his love of history.

9-day American Civil War Tour - A Nation Tested review

Only had a few questions after we made our down payment.

The itinerary was excellent

Very educational. Made some new friends. Very busy. No a leisurely trip, which was great.

The meals on the bus were way to much, but Pot Belly's is good. Breakfast's were only luke warm at the buffets.

Robert was great and courageous on the road with such a large vehicle

Very informative

Ok. Expected a little more and it to be dark

Tour guide was excellent and very informative

11-day Third Reich review

They were great.

The tour followed the itinerary and I appreciated all the travel tips, etc. that we're given.

I had a great tour.

I thought it was well planned out and it showed me things that I would like to examine more closely (that means a trip back to Munich and Berlin). I think you delivered on everything you said that would be done.

It was great to experience the German culture. Personally, it was a lot more food than I normally eat. But I had no problems with it and I understand that set meals need to be in place for the efficiency of the tour. If you want McDonald's, stay home.

No problem at all with the transportation.

Thoroughly enjoyed.

Somber experience. Learned a tremendous amount. Always thought concentration camps were all extermination camps.

Loved seeing the WWII sights as well as the general culture of Munich.

Charly made the tour. He was personable, funny, extremely knowledgable, and as neutral as one can be when stating historical facts. Some members of the tour did not like him which I find hard to believe. He delivered everything the itinerary showed.

Loved it. Wished it was closer to Munich rather than on the outskirts but I understand why you chose it.

Amazing that out of a group of 24 only 7 of us climbed the Tribune to get the view.

Very good tour guide and amazing to see where justice prevailed.

One of my favorite things on the tour. I absolutely love the "old town".

Not really my cup of tea, but I took advantage of the opportunity and learned some new things.

Chilling to see what transpired here.

Sometimes one has to be reminded of the atrocities of war.

Wonderful informative tour. Charly is the best.

Fascinating informative tour. Again, Charly is the best.

Since my husband and I don't drink anymore, it was still interesting to see. And they very nicely served us mineral water and apple juice (which looked exactly like beer) so we didn't look out of place.

Fantastic hotel and super location.

Absolutely marvelous and breath taking.

Fascinating

Great and knowledgable guide.

I give him a lot of credit for schlepping us around. He was marvelous. Personable and a great driver. He went out of his way to accommodate us.

Nice hotel.

5-day Normandy Invasion review

Since I was traveling alone I sought assurances that all aspects of my trip were coordinated and they were!

Everything was top notch in the tour department. It was perfect for someone traveling on their own or with a group.

Could have better arrival plan at the Paris airport ie,someone at the airport upon arrival and if not,a better meeting spot than the parking lot.

It was a dream come true to be on the tour and both expected and additional sites were gteat. The idea of seeing the tapestry from 1066 time frame was amazing.

Food offerings left alot to be desired.

An outstanding and memorable tour with significant historical value. As a combat veteran (Iraq War), it was also a sobering reminder of the cost of war.

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

You guys were great

I did thorough research so I was fairly informed

The only disappointment I have is when we had free time in Houffalize no one told us of the Panther Monument at the top of the hill. Not a big deal but a bit disappointing knowing we were within 500ft when walking around. I just happened upon some pictures of a 2017 B of B tour on TripAdvisor. I know many on our tour would have loved to see it.

I was very pleased with the experience. I was concerned about my wife and how she would take to the tour. She really enjoyed it. So. Wife happy, everyone happy.

Really enjoyed Charlie. It's a tough job keeping everyone on track. He did a great job.

This driver is beyond tops.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

The only issue I had was the cost of my 2 day extended stay in Munich

Very satisfied, no issues.

Overall, the tour with all the various components was very enjoyable

I had a wonderful time. The other people in the group were lots of fun. The hotels were comfortable. The food was good. The guides were very knowledgeable and readily answered questions.

I had expected something a little more rustic to the regions we were visiting. None the less, all the food was good to excellent.

Seats could be a little more roomy with more cushion. Very hard to be comfortable on the long drives.

EXCELLENT !!!!!

EXCELLENT!!!!

room was satisfactory but again bed linens were not to my liking

They were all excellent.

Robert was knowledgeable, personable and easy to understand. A most excellent tour manager.

Extremely knowledgeable and easy to listen to.

Another EXCELLENT site to visit.

Excellent. I wish we could have spent a little more time there.

again bed linen issues.

Excellent but more time !!!

LOVED IT !!!!

The room was very nice, but small and the bed linens were not what I'm used to sleeping in.

would have been excellent if the photos also had English explanations.

A little more time, but excellent

Tom is a very professional driver and very friendly. Very helpful.

Excellent service

I think there could have been a better job prior to the tour. It seemed like all the information came within a month prior to departure.

Hotel accommendations that could have been shared with family in case of emergency.

I twas an excellent tour and on that I have already recommended to others.

A wider variety would have been nice.

They were very accommodating. It would have been nice to have a greater variety of food on the menu.

Milan was the best. His knowledge, people skills and customer service was beyond expectations. BBOB is lucky to have Milan on their team.

Best bus driver I have ever encountered. He was also concerned and helpful to all the passengers. You can tell that he enjoys his job.Another great find by BBOB.

William did an excellent job and was very knowledgeable of the area as well as WWII

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

The amount of information was provided was more than enough and was well put together.

Whatever you are doing right now keep doing it.

The amount of detail you put into the preparation along with the overall experience has to be at the top in this industry. I couldn't imagine having to do this trip on our own. Packed so much into 11 days

No complaints except for the Caen Hotel

Everything was smooth

BEst Part

Very Nice hotel. Only complaint was the bathrooms

Hotel was fine but wasnt as nice as the other 3. NO issues overall

Best guide of the Tour

Couldn't ask for a better guide

Great Hotel

Beyond our expectations and made the trip a huge success. She knows the languages, the tour locations. Dealt with all issues with class and dignity and couldn't have asked for a better person overall..... Give her a raise anytime she asks haha

Most interesting part

That guy was incredible

Roland was good but that part of the tour is a little slow but no complaints on Roland

Fantastic!

The attention to detail and the retaining of local historians really made the trip extra special.

Too much food! Ha! Not much of a complaint, but I don't eat that much! lol

Tom was an amazing driver!!

The best weather ever!

THE BEST! Promote this man!!! Super person and leader for our group

I don't think I tipped Christophe enough. Tremendous historian and passionate about the history

Only complaint is that the motor coach did not have a port to charge our electronics. Plus the internet kept going in and out.

Perfectly planned!

Superior service!

The tour was well managed. The personel were professional and personable. The accomodations were more than sufficient. However, I would suggest that more attention be given towards the quality of the food. I would most certainly recommend Procom to anyone interested in such tours.

Milan was wonderful. A great tour manager. He is passionate about his job and truly cares about those in his tour group. Kudos to Milan!!!

I was impressed by both the quality of the motor coach and the ability of Sylvain to navigate the narrow roads throughout the area. A super friendly individual who made sure we were never without water and small candies.

Knowledgealbe individual. However, he wasn't too receptive to questions and at times was condescending with his responses.

5-day Normandy Invasion review

Extremely satisfied! Milan took excellent care of us.

The hotel and food brought this rating down.

The first three meals were essentially chicken, green beans and potatoes. We were served pork instead of beef and cod instead of salmon. One day when we were to be fed beef they ran out of beef. Terrible!!

My profession was transporting people (airline pilot). So I know how important it is to keep the ride safe and smooth. Sylvain did both.

A lot of excellent stories told about veterans of both sides by French tour guide.

All by itself the film of Canadian participation at Juno Beach was worth the visit!!!! I cried.

Most importantly the Novotel was clean. After that is was only satisfactory. The first two meals there were essentially the same. The meals did not match the menu. They ran out of beef on the night we were to have beef. They served cod instead of salmon, etc.

Milan was the shining star of BBOB Tours. He took excellent care of us I would like to have him as a tour manager again.

Sylvain is an excellent driver. The ride was smooth and he got the bus into and our of tight places without problem. At the stops he also made sure we had water. Nice touch.

Everyone at the BBOB agency was very helpful.

Great job!

A sheet of information regarding sizes would have been helpful. For example, over 70 companies were in Bastogne; how many men is that? For those of us who are non military, it may have been helpful to know approximate numbers.

Well-organized and thought out. You thought of nearly every angle.

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

I had been to the invasion beaches twice before, but never with a guide. Through BBOB I learned a lot of details that I had not been familiar with. The time we spent in the Ardennes was very special. It was my first time there and was at the top of my list of stops on the tour. Bruno did a great job as our guide and the places we visited were very meaningful for me. I have a 93-year old friend who participated in the liberation of Bastogne as member of Patton's III Army. That made it even more meaningful for me.

If you are asking about the motor coach, it was fine. We stopped often enough for everyone's comfort.

I signed up for this tour with very high expectations. Charley exceeded those expectations. He was very professional and informative. I know there are countless details that must be managed on a tour like this. Charley was an outstanding tour manager. I think he is a real asset to your company. I would not hesitate to go on another tour with him as our tour manager.

My son and I stayed with an old friend for three days after the tour. We had a great time at Oktoberfest.

Janos has to rank as one of the best drivers I have ever ridden with. Not only is he an outstanding driver, he is a really pleasant person.

It was everything they said it would be. The only improvement I would recommend is using a better microphone system for the walking tours. The microphone needs to be an outside microphone to prevent wind noise.

Very pleased, they handled all my issues

The brochure was very helpful

As we toured the different sites and stayed in hotels it would have been nice to receive info on the local sites so that I could use my evenings visiting them. For example in Bayeux for example there was a beautiful cathedral and other sites that our guide failed to mention. Having such info as handouts on the bus would be very helpful

Great experience, saw what I wanted to see. Would definitely recommend this to a friend

exceptional

loved seeing the foxholes

Patton's grave was a highlight

Loved Steve, gave us rationale for why the Germans joined Hitler's team

Only issue was the toilet in the room, it was very hard to get in the bathroom and shut the door

enjoyed very much

Joe was good, did not give us info on the areas we were staying so we could visit on our free time. He needed to buy museum and attraction tickets ahead of time so that we did not was valuable time standing in line to get them. I always felt rushed because it would take so long to get tickets and then we would follow our guides and in some cases never get into the museum or attraction.

extremely knowledgeable, just difficult to understand, loved the stories of locating and identifying soldiers

My favorite

The tour packed a lot of information into a short tour. I consider myself very knowledgeable about the places we went but I still learned things I did not know. I would definitely (and have) recommend your tours.

Charlie went above and beyond for all of us. He is a credit to your company

Love the My Trip feature as it gives milestones to complete prior to departure.

Everything that I wanted in this trip. I would recommend to anyone because of the great value (I never felt as though I got less of an experience because it was the "budget" tour) an because of the sheer volume of historical information received. Any military history buff would enjoy this.

All of the transportation was obviously well thought out and efficient.

Great to hear from someone who lived through some of the events. Very knowledgeable.

Really brought the battle to life being in that forest

Would not have missed this for the world!

This was the best hotel of the trip. Great rooms, great service in the restaurant and bar. Efficient check out. Excellent choice

Liked the location, good breakfast buffet, nice room

Jimmy was amazing. Don't know how he maneuvers that giant bus, but he did it. He was helpful and always smiling. Really loved him.

Rey is fabulous. She is outgoing, informative, concerned for all of the participant's needs. She really made the tour special. I would request her on another tour if I could!

Sean was the absolute best! Full of information and personal stories from survivors, etc. A great attitude plus a sense of humor. Highly recommend Sean

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

Everything prior to the tour handled ever well by BBOB personnel.

We had some excellent guest tour guides that provided excellent insight to the events that occurred at the locations we visited.

The only change I would make is to have the ability to purchase some of the optional tour tickets in advance thus saving more time to see the museums etc.

Almost anything can be improved but overall I was very satisfied and enjoyed the tour.

My wife felt a little uncomfortable due to the limit use of the on board toilet facility.

I was a little disappointed because the tide was in and I couldn't get a feel for what the beach must have looked like on D-Day. Also, the area has been commercialized to the point it makes it more difficult to imagine what the area looked like on D-Day.

The site has been preserved so well that it was easy to imagine what it would have looked like on D-Day.

The battlefield has changed a lot (fewer hedge rows) over the years and it was more difficult to get a feel for what it must have been like on D-Day and the following days

Beautiful resting place for the fallen service personnel. I plan to make a donation in honor of the heroes lying here.

This site was a very somber location that was made even more somber by a gentle rain and overcast skies. Our guest tour guide was great!

Very interesting and the guest tour guide was great!

I was a little disappointed that we didn't get to see the inside of the Eagle's Nest.

Great, easily understood, knowledgeable, sometimes humorous. I love his presentation style!

Absolutely beautiful and deserving tribute to service personnel who lost their lives.

This site really conveys what it must have looked like on D-Day!

Again, seeing the town square and church gave me a good feeling for what happened.

Again, he knew his subject matter but he was a little difficult to understand.

Very interesting story and the site easily helped me imagine the way it looked on D-Day

Well done, I would have like to spent more time at the museum.

Excellent, easily understood and very knowledgeable.

Very safe and very good at getting into and out of tight spots.

I could have stayed there a little longer

He made every effort to ensure a good, safe tour.

Beautiful memorial to the men and women who served.

Sue answered several questions that made my post stay in Munich excellent.

It is obvious that the CEO has found a great need for the tourist. The networking of the coaches for everyone to see all the sights and not feel crowded by other persons is remarkable.

We cannot control the weather, The fog set in as we arrived. Still worth the ride to see the bunkers.

Thank you SUE. By far I would recommend this trip to anyone. All positive to say about Sue. This was not her first trip, she managed everything flawlessly.

This was by far the best hotel of the trip.

11-day Fields of World War I 100 review

The guides and tour manager have all been very receptive to questions at any point.

I chose this tour because I have spent years reading "bottom up" history of WW2 and realized I knew next to nothing about WW1, which was really the reason WW2 happened. This tour opened the windows for me to grasp many facets of WW1.

There was just too much food! It felt like having to choose between gluttony and rudeness. But it was all delicious and well presented!

The bus was so new it seemed to be "off-gassing" and made my existing cough flare up as soon as I got in each day.

Charlie ROCKS this job! I had him also in the Grand Pacific. He's wonderful.

My #1 goal!

THIS!!! yes!

Charlie did a good job!

Glad we went, even if the weather did not cooperate.

Liked the Sound of Music Tour. The guide got a little to preachy about government and politics on the tour through old Salzburg, and went on too long.

Great, even though the weather did not cooperate. Definitely need to let people know about the walk up to the castle and option to use carriage.

Barry was excellent!

9-day American Civil War Tour - A Nation Tested review

It would be helpful to have a chronology of the battles showing the dates of each of the battles so that you can see how the war went from a series of Union defeats to the turning point at the battle of Gettysburg when the confederates began to re routed and finally defeated.

The tour was very well done, the Sites were interesting and the guides were very informative. The accommodations were great, the bus and driver were excellent. Meals were good except for the box lunches on the bus. Tour was well planned and the group of people on the tour were very interesting.

I would reccomend this tour, but would suggest you go on the September date to avoid the heat and humidity of early July. With the mix of memorials, museums, battlefield sites, guides, Harper's Ferry, Ford's Theater and Arlington National Cemetery you get to see all the milestones of the Civil war in Virginia and Gettysburg. I left with a greater appreciation of the deep divisions between the northern and southern states, the sacrifice of lives that both sides made and how the nation became truly the "United States" as a result of the war. I would suggest that anyone who wants to really understand the history of the Civil War to take this tour.

The breakfasts and dinners were very good. However the box lunches on the bus were very disappointing. 3 days of Potbelly sandwiches was very disappointing. You need to find a caterer who provides a more balanced meal with some fruit and/or salad selections also.

Bus and Robert the driver were excellent, the legroom could have been more comfortable.

Great museum, display about the flag was very interesting.

Great idea, but the heat and humidity made the walk almost unbearable.

History, guide and Park were very interesting.

The battlefield tour was very informative, the guide was very knowledgeable.

Park and guide were interesting. The refrain of " these trees weren't here when the battle took place was very frustrating.

Great story about Jennie Wade and her sister's efforts to have her recognized.

I dont believe in ghosts but the presenter and his stories were very entertaining.

Guide was excellent. Being able to walk the site after watching the movie added to the experience.

Seeing the actual configuration of the trenches made it much more interesting. But once again, the story " these trees weren't here when the battle occured" was frustrating.

Building and Civil War museum were very well done.

The guide's story of the meeting and the surrender was very interesting.

Enjoyed learning the history of the cemetery and the changing of the guard.

Excellent hotel with a great location

Comfortable hotel.

Great hotel with a lot of History and a great breakfast.

Re-enactors made understanding the battle of Gettysburg more interesting. Particularly when they were living and camping as they had back in the 1860s.

Good knowledge by the guides. I don't know how you do a better job with Petersburg but 9 months condensed in 2 hours was not enough. Movies on the bus are good but in the back the speakers were a bit tinny. Niki was a great guide but the 90 minute presentation on all the other tours available was a bit much.

Too short to really get the background of 9 months of fighting

Information was good

Days were much longer than expected and did not match the listed itinerary . I would not recommend the tour to anyone unless they had never traveled before. Also sit down lunches took up too much time. I would recommend that lunches not included.

The hotel info more prominently displayed on the trip page

The tours are very attractive from a cost standpoint- very good value. I would highly recommend to history buffs. I have mixed feelings on whether there should be more down time. I would have seen less but on some days I was pretty tired by the end of the day

WiFi was a little fussy but I appreciated the ability to charge my phone on the go

Matt was excellent- very responsive, knowledgeable and always accommodating

He was very good but I would have lived a few minutes of quite time ant the cemetery

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers R&R review

The tour was well-organized, informative, and secure. I would like to go on another Band of Brothers tour in Europe. I appreciate the organization and professionalism. I always felt well-informed, and I enjoyed the interaction with my fellow tour group members and tour representatives. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Gabe was an excellent and very safe driver! He was also very helpful and professional.

This was a beautiful part of the tour. I am so glad this was a part of the tour.

The tour guide was excellent.

Excellent!

The wreath ceremony was very special to view.

This was an amazing sight.

This was an amazing experience.

We could have used more time.

Sue was very professional and excellent with her presentation of information.

Rey was very professional, and she was very informative with her presentation of information She was also very personable.

I was disappointed with the Sound of Music Tour. I did not feel that we were provided accurate information by the tour guide. It was limited.

9-day American Civil War Tour - A Nation Tested review

The tour was very well organized and the experts were great and very interesting as well as very educated in the subjects. Niki made the tour as far as I am concerned. She kept things going, fun and she cared for everyone. I would recommend the tour because of the way it is organized and put together. You can tell there is a lot of attention to detail and trying to make the best tour for your customer.

they were ok meals but expected more from the description of the tours.

I expected much more from the bus. I have a bad back and probably would not have gone on the tour if I knew the bus would be so cramped, like I was on an airplane which I can't fly because of my back. The bus portion of the tour, especially the long drives, were extremely painful for me.

Very satisfied

The visit to Caen was disappointing. The military battle for Caen was never discussed. Plus we arrived at Caen on Sunday, when all the stores were closed.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Considering doing the Mediterranean tour next year, as long as we get Catelyn as our tour guide.

Not a fan of quiche, which was served twice. Most of the meals were very good.

Andreas was excellent at driving the coach.

Very small room.

Wasn’t really interested in the tapestry, but the story of what the tapestry told was interesting.

She was great! My wife and I really enjoyed her.

Very disappointed. The military value of taking Caen was never discussed.

A wAste of time. Guide talked about himself more than Sound of Music. Most disappointing part of trip. I really looked forward to this tour. A few people in our group commented that the guide was drunk.

Too much fish and chicken in France. The food in Belgium and Germany was great it reminded my of the grandmother cooking

We had Charlie is a driver his driving skills were outstanding. I could believe how he could drive the bus through the narrow streets in Normandie. He was also great with my son.

Henri mignon was a great tour guide

Christophe was a very informative tour guide I think you could spend a month with him and not hear everything he knows.

It's difficult to do but better directions on arrival to the tour bus would have been helpful. With different gates and arrival times I know this would be difficult.

Time is your enemy on a tour that has so much to experience in a limited amount of time. I would have liked a little more free time at several of the locations, but overall our managers and guides did an awesome job making the tour seamless. That's the reason I would recommend Procom.

Breakfast really good in all hotels. Lunches were good but with limited choices. Dinners were very good, especially the pasta prepared for us on the last night.

Very informative and well pit together, If I were booking again I would do the regular tour and not the R&R Tour. The war sights were much more enjoyable to me.

Overall they were very good... you can't please everyone with that many meals

The "ONLY" negative was the reluctance to use the restroom on the coach. No one in our group asked to have it turned on and several were uncomfortable waiting for the next rest stop. We curtailed our liquid intake as to not be uncomfortable on the bus trips.

Tour guide was five star plus!! Great source of information

This was a little anti climatic in comparison to Dachau

Very accommodating, caring and knowledgeable. It was obvious she was concerned with our welfare and comfort.

8-day Normandy 75 Budget review

having blow dryers provided was very nice as was the hotel having electric adapters available for guests (as the one I bought did not fit the outlet)

Very organized, safe, efficient,I do think travel ins. for the group should be offered.

The budget tour covered a lot of ground, the historical knowledge Mary imparted was fantastic. Mary has a way of relating history that is not only true, but very interesting and not just dry facts. As the tour leaders organized their bus routes and each days plans, Mary did a fantastic job of having us at places when other BBOB buses weren't in the same spot, so rotating the the arrival and departure times kept us from feeling like it was a huge BBoB crowd descending on each area. I cannot overstate how lucky our group was to have Mary as our guide. She is incredible and all of us felt very close to her and our driver Steve! Each stop that we previously rated a few pages back was moving, interesting, well planned out as far as touring,we had time for food and shopping as well in the places that offered them. I do prefer having my own meal options and not wasting time dinning w/ the whole group. I want to eat quick and look/shop long. I would recommend the tour because it is an excellent way to learn/relearn the history of WWII battle sites, well organized, tour guides and bus drivers are superb, hotel was very nice, safe and comfortable!

Well, I was on the budget tour, all the restaurants we went to were very good. I already commented on the excellent food at Utah Beach

Both drivers were excellent. Steve was our main driver and he did an excellent job, his driving skills earned the admiration of everyone on our bus!!!!!

very interesting, enlighting

The staff was very helpful, nice, Claire at the desk did an excellent job painting the hotel window to commemorate the D Day celebration.

It was very moving, an honor and privilege to be there! So very, very glad that Beyond Band of Brothers had grand stands for sitting, seeing the ceremony! Having a tent for lunch and reception afterwards was very much appreciated, a time saver, the food was excellent!!! thank you so much!!!!!

Too much fish, but all meals were excellent

All involved couldn't have been more nicer or more helpful.

We were informed and kept up to date on everything. We had no problems with anything which made the tour very enjoyable.

Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was good with plenty to eat.

Provided everything you said you would provide and it went on so easily which again made the trip so pleasant.

Love when someone else does the driving. Bus was always where they said it would be.

Again another place of honor for the brave soldiers that gave their life for freedom.

Very overwhelming so hard to believe such things could have gone on.

Very emotional, loved how they made it so we could see the lowering of the flags. Felt proud to be an American and that our tax dollars are going to such a place of honor.

Beautiful day in a beautiful city. Awesome way to end the trip.

She was totally on the ball with everything we had to do. Kept us on schedule which made the trip very enjoyable.

8-day Normandy 75 Exclusive review

Excellent help from Lance in Kentucky, Amy at Avant Travel and from our guide Camille.

Completely satisfied.

One of the loveliest boutique hotels I’ve stayed at abroad or in the USA. Decor was outstanding and the setting beyond lovely

Excellent in every way.

My 20-year-old son says he will remember it until the day he dies. I will probably not take a more memorable tour. Not only was it enlightening, but as the daughter of a WWII vet, it struck so many emotional chords. I found the Normans to be welcoming and generous. Hats off to BBOB.

Some were extremely good and some just mediocre. The food could have been selected for those with more adventurous pallets. Some seafood choices would have been welcomed.

I can’t believe the ease with which they maneuvered those narrow lanes. Brava

I would give Camille five more stars if I could—a guide well versed in history, kind, funny, helpful in every way, and kept the entire program running like clockwork.

Fabulous personality.

Nicole was not only knowledgeable, but the empathy she has for those who fought to save Normandy was palpable.

I think everyone would agree that the highlight was getting to meet some of the men who landed on Omaha and Utah Beaches 75 years ago.

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

Ouistreham was an ok hotel, but the others were much nicer. I think it's best that was the first hotel- upwards from there!

I would recommend the tour to anyone who was interested in seeing these sites but was apprehensive about going it alone. I am very glad I took this tour because it enabled me to see more than I ever would have been able to on my own. I was a little disappointing I didn't get as much time as I would have liked at each site- Omaha beach, Bois Jacque, St Mere Eglise, Arromanches Les Bain- but that was what enabled us to see so much. Overall I saw the tour as a buffet- I got to sample a LOT and when I go back to Europe for round 2, I know what I want to see more of and spend more time at.

I didn't enjoy the really long bus rides, but there really isn't a way around it.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Everyone we dealt with on the phone was very professional, helpful, courteous, and efficient.

Every aspect of the trip was clearly covered.

This tour was outstanding! It met and then exceeded our expectations!

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, but especially those with a military background or someone who is a true history buff! It is well run, and the wealth of knowledge and information that was shared was incredible! Everything was top notch!

Food was excellent and having a glass of beer or wine included at each meal was a nice touch. However, personally, there was too much food at each meal and I couldn't begin to eat it all. I hated to see it go to waste. I am not sure if there is a way to cut down on portions or offer a choice between half portions and full portions so that so much food isn't wasted for those of us with smaller appetites.

Jimmy was excellent! He always had a smile on his face and was extremely patient in even the most difficult driving situations. He was always there to help the passengers on and off the bus, and to get the wheelchair out for the handicapped passenger. He and Catelin were a great pair working together! We felt very safe and comfortable with him as our driver.

Excellent, extremely interesting and knowledgeable and loved the humor he interjected into our tour. His stories were fascinating.

The ceremony you provided for the veterans in our group was appreciated more than words can express. It brought tears to the eyes of all, and the vets and their families were really moved that this would be done in their honor. Thank you!!!!

Although this was probably the best substitute, not going to Eagles Nest was a huge disappointment. I would have at least liked to have gone to Berchtesgaden even if we couldn't get up to Eagle's Nest

The wealth of his knowledge was mind boggling. He talked for 2 days straight and gave us so much information that is was almost overwhelming. Excellent guide but maybe a break in his talking from time to time would have helped us to digest the information a little more easily.

Amazing!

Catelyn was outstanding. She was on top of everything; her attention to detail was amazing; she made it her business to get to know every person in the tour group personally and know what their needs were, how they were feeling, and what they might need; she has a great sense of humor and a way of handling difficult situations with seeming ease; she was constantly floating around checking in on everyone multiple times every day about how they were feeling, if they were satisfied with their meals, troubleshooting any situation that arose, etc. She kept us informed about everything, kept her eye on the group when we were with the guides so no one got lost or left behind, and was always friendly and helpful. A true gem!

Wow! An amazing guide! He has obviously devoted his life to researching Hitler and the Nazi party. He cleared up many myths and was able to clearly build the time line of the rise of Hitler and the Nazi Party. Loved the way he shared the information - so interesting!

Another top notch guide with so many personal connections. It was incredible to have someone who had actually lived through the war as a child and remember so much, and share so many personal stories. What a treasure he is!

Some were great others left a lot to be desired

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

Each hotel was extremely nice and comfortable.

Procom was better than I ever expected it to be. They were extremely professional and thorough; every detail was addressed.

My impression of the tour is as positive as it could be. Each and every detail was addressed. The passengers' comfort and safety was paramount to the tour guide; he made sure meals and accommodations were ready upon arrival. Additionally, he was extremely friendly and mixed well with the passengers. I would highly recommend Procom/BBOB tours to anyone, without hesitation. They are professional and thorough and the price of the trips are well worth it, as everything is included. Top notch company.

Fantastic meals and excellent restaurants.

Beautiful bus, fantastic driver.

Robert was absolutely fantastic. He ensured everyone was comfortable. His professionalism was fantastic and without question.

I was happy with all the sites visited. Of course, it would have been nice to have had a little bit more time on our own as well. I never felt like i was visiting a foreign country - and that was disappointing. Too insulated from everyday life there. But, i understand there is a trade off on places seen and time on our own.

Jimmie was an awesome driver and a very nice man. Could not be happier with his service.

The room at Hotel Melba was larger However all 3 were very nice and I would use them again.

For anyone who truly wants to learn and be entertained at the same time, this is the right tour.

All of the food served was very good but I would have preferred to not have dessert 2 times in 1 day.

Zolter was very good and I felt safe. The bus was never late.

but I wish I had known how far I would be walking

Barry is excellent and there are not enough stars to rate him!

Her passion was obvious

Curt was very good but didn't appear to stay on track at times

Reg was also very passionate

The tour had very long days, and lots of walking and driving. But our tour was amazing in both what we saw, what we learned, and the people we met soon to be called friends. I do wish there was more of a heads up about the possibility the Eagles Nest would be closed, but the trip to Austria was lovely.

The driver, Thomas, was amazing. My father uses a wheelchair and EVERY time we stopped he was quick to grab the wheelchair out, and assist my father down the stairs and into it. Always smiling and so kind. So happy we had him as our driver!

He was beyond amazing. Funny and extremely knowledgeable. I truly don't think we could have had a better tour manager. My father and I agree he made our trip perfect.

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

It was a great tour. The mix of activity, while a lot was packed into our 8-days, the pace was not overwhelming, especially for my 87-year old father. It was a trip I know my father, my brothers and I will treasure forever.

Charlie did a great job of getting us around often in very tight areas. He was efficient, professional and friendly even though English was clearly not his language.

Bruno was very knowledgeable, but provided so much detail that it was difficult to absorb.

While Salzburg was beautiful, it was disappointing that we were not able to see the Eagle's Nest due to the snow.

William provided a great mix of information that helped bring the events of D-Day to life.

Rey was awesome!! She did a great job of providing a lot of information, managing our group and making the trip fun. She was able to have fun with the group bringing the participants together to make for a wonderful group experience. Rey was the best!!

Stephen was very knowledgeable and shared information in a relatable way to understand the details of Dachau.

Directions for the pick up point at the airport with the included photographs was a big help.

Mattress at Hotel Adagio in Caen, too firm for our taste. All hotels were very clean. Staff at each, very helpful. Hotel in Houffalize was so neat. Loved the town and building. Europa Hotel was nice as the rooms had a thermostat to control temperature in the rooom.

The content and the locations visited were everything and more of what my son and I were expecting. Anyone who is even remotely interested in the segment of history would be impressed by visiting the sites that we saw.

If I were to book another procom tour I would inquire to the availablity of Charlie being in charge. His light heartedness and knowledge made every day a pleasure.

A joy to spend the day with this man.

Airborne museum was very impressive.

I could listen to this man speak all day long.

The tour brochure had excellent detail

The ibis hotel was very limited on space. Only one person at a time could pass by the bed to the bathroom. It was clean. The other two hotels were outstanding.

The trip we took was super and provided excellent value for the money. Most of your other trips appeared to be expensive compared to our trip and others we have taken.

The wifi which came in excellent made the long trips on the bus far more bearable. The driver was really skilled moving the bus in tight locations.

Robert's knowledge of history was fantastic. He gave a detailed account of events in Munich including the rise of Hitler and the Nazi party. He brought to life the importance of a faded spot on a wall. He gave us insight without too much gore at Dachau.

We enjoyed the fortress and beautiful landscapes. The on and off bus audio on the first bus we rode on did not work and the bus driver was rude. Because we had to come back to get the on and off bus tickets our options (time and distance from the meeting point) in Salzburg were limited.

Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We enjoyed her

Every time I had a problem or question and had to call, Lance was ALWAYS so willing to help.

The tour and tour managers, and staff was more than we expected. we have never taken an organized tour before, but would consider doing another with BBOB. I would def ask for the same guides we had, and bus driver. This tour really makes you stop and appreciate what OUR VETERAN'S have done for us. Standing on those beaches and thinking of what the men went through is chilling. This tour meant so much to us, as my husband's father fought in Bastogne. My husband fought in Vietnam, and 40 years later Iraq. My brother was in Vietnam as well. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Charlie was the best. He's a very good driver. He knows how to get that bus anywhere, and I always felt safe with him driving. He has GREAT pride in his bus. He cleaned the bus inside and out at the end of everyday. Always on time as well.

One of our favorites, as my husband's Father fought in Basogne. It's terrible they are planning to close it.

Very knowledgeable and took a lot of time explaining tings. showed us things we would have never seen on our own. Bruno by far went beyond his tour guiding. EXCELLENT

William knew his stuff, but I thought was rude to the bus driver. Sent him down a street clearly marked "NO BUSES"

Rey is an AMAZING tour manager. She knew exactly what she was talking about and if she didn't know the answer she looked it up. She's very personable and has great people skills. If we decided to take another BBOB tour, we would request to be on Rey's tour again. So happy to meet her and be on her tour. on a scale 1 tru 10, I give her and 11+

Would recommend tours & have to family members. One concern was missing the Eagles Nest. Part of reason booked this tour was to see that, highlight to end the tour. Unfortunately Mother Nature didn’t cooperate. It’s no fault of Procom or our guide/driver, but very disappointed itinerary had to change. Enjoyed Salzburg a great deal, but was so looking forward to the Eagles Nest, waited a year from time I booked tour in anticipation. Understand reasons why couldn’t see attraction, but dampened the spirits of most everyone on the tour as were all looking forward to it.

Charlie was wonderful, would travel with him again!

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

Didn't really have too much interaction with the travel consultants as signing up for the tour online was very intuitive, and the My Tour section had a fantastic amount of information about the tour and what to expect.

Between the information provided by My Tour and our Tour Manager Charlie prior to departure there were no surprises. Everything went as Procom claimed it would.

Due to the length of the trip, it would have been helpful to have information about which hotels had laundry facilities or the location of laundry facilities in close proximity to the hotels. This would have helped in determining how much clothing I would have had to bring.

All the hotels were outstanding, even though it was a "Budget" tour. Even though I was more interested in the tour itself and learning more about WW2 history than I was in the hotel rooms, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms.

This tour not only allowed me to visit historically significant sites without spending a year's salary, but the manner in which the tour was conducted allowed me to interact with the sites in a much more personal way than just driving by them in a bus. History takes on another dimension when you can walk around an important site and gives you a perspective you just can't get by watching a movie or reading a book.

Thomas was flat-out awesome. Great driver.

Charlie was the perfect tour manager. He was personable, helpful, and had a great sense of humor. He always made sure we knew what was going to be happening each day, and made the tour a much more pleasant experience.

Bruno was by far the most entertaining local guide on the tour.

Alex was a wealth of information. His knowledge of the history of the Normandy invasion was unbelievable. Even when asked difficult or off-topic questions about the actions of both the Allied and German armies around June 6th, he was able to explain in detail the actions and reasons behind them.

Jeff's knowledge about the history of not only the rise of the Nazi party but the history of Munich in general were amazing.

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

I would recommend the tour absolutely. The cost is a huge plus and the attention to detail by the company is extraordinary.

The bus' wi-fi was sketchy at best. You were constantly being dropped and had to start the process all over again. It was also a bit warm on the bus. Overall, though, a very good experience.

The most moving experience was in the Bois Jacques.

Disappointed that we couldn't walk on grassy area to read tombstones. They were preparing for D-Day anniversary.

Joe was absolutely fantastic! He was friendly, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. I would ask to be on his tour in the future.

Danielle was exceptional. She made the sites & sounds come to life.

9-day WW2 Bucket List on a Budget review

Upon booking, they were very helpful. There were a few times that I emailed questions and had to follow back up requesting a response.

My only recommendation/frustration is that I had not budgeted for all of the tips necessary for the tour guides and the bus driver. I had planned on the $10 per person per day for our tour manager. But then was informed upon arrival that this was also expected for the bus driver and the local guides which put us about 200 Euros over budget.

The Ibis Caen was fairly small. The lady at breakfast was very confused by our group and yelled at us about where to sit and what we could eat. The Hotel Koener was absolutely charming. The front desk staff at Novotel Munchen was AMAZING. They were so incredibly helpful with public transportation and very knowledgeable. The restaurants and metro stops near the hotel were great.

It was my first vacation on a tour so I wasn't sure what to expect. I liked that I didn't have to think about the details of driving, finding locations or understanding the significance of various locations. It was very well done and I would recommend the tour to friends and family. I did feel like a fish out of water being one of the few people under 40 but it wasn't a bad experience by any means.

Norbie was great! I was very impressed with his driving skills.

I don't know if it was due to poor weather, or timing but I was fairly upset that we only spent about 5-10 minutes physically on the beach. The tour also had us at the beach at high tide, so we had no idea how much sand troops had to cover to get to the rises. It was a big disappointment for us.

Skipped the museum to spend more time on the beach itself.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable but a tad verbose. I would have liked some personal time to move through the museum and displays.

The cemetery itself was great. I was bummed that we couldn't go on the grass due to the preparation for the anniversary but that is not BBOB's fault.

Joe did a good job for his first tour. You could tell he was new, but he was working his tail off and trying to communicate the best he could. I greatly appreciated him calling ahead to prep the hotels for a quick check in. I also appreciated his work to try to undo our disappointment in not seeing the eagles nest.

She was wonderful (besides the prior mentioning of too little time at Omaha beach). I loved hearing her families stories during the war.

tipping suggestions, what will we see versus what happened before we go.

good. ac was warmer than we would like but all EU hotels do the temp control.

Outstanding. wish I had a map of where we were going before the trip to relate it to the movie and books. You had a map but it was at a high level. I liked a more detailed view and bought a local map and followed it thru the trip. The D-Day movie at the end tired it all together. Great line up of locations in spite of some being shutdown for President Trumps visit next week.

She was very responsive and helpful

'Very impressive and gave us alot of information. Would recommend the type of tour around

Our guide was extremely knowledgable. Would have liked more free time on the beach perhaps that wasn't narrated. Seemed a little too short.

perhaps time was a little too long.

Extrememly knowledgable to hard to listen attentively all day when at some of the sights.

Timing was against us with the closure of the grounds for walking due to the 75th anniversary. It might have been nice to know in advance.

Although the guide was fabulously prepared, the narrative was perhaps too long in the heat. Don't think we would have needed so much time here.

The experience was nice.

So glad we got to see this.

Super! she was so attentive and helpful.

The tour was very organized. The schedule each day was full but there was always plenty of time to visit each location without feeling rushed

The driver we has was very knowledgable about the area and took us to all of the locations with ease

Catelyn was very organized and knowledgeable about the places we visited she also made sure that if you had a special request she did her best to accommodate your request.

Stephane had so much knowledge about all of the places we visited with him and also personal stories of veterans he had met during his life in Normandy. You can tell he has great passion for this subject and enjoys telling people about this.

It was exactly the Normandy focused tour we wanted and less than a week which was a nice time to be away. Not too long.

Though mostly tasty, it would have been nice to have 2 options to pick from like we did in Mulberry. Pork with potatoes and gravy got old fast. Also, would have liked more fruit and salad included with meals. And needed snacks on the tour bus for the long days. And sodas.

Zoltan was an incredible driver. Can't believe how he drove that bus around the tight roads in France. Very nice too.

Barry was great. Would love to have him again.

Every interaction I experienced with any of the people at Procom was nothing but pleasant and was always informative. There were never any hassles.

The information was always satisfying and my guide answered any questions I had in whatever detail I wanted.

It would have been nice if I had known how complicated the Charles DeGaulle airport was going to be

All the hotels were great. The hotel in Belgium was beyond great.

Beyond amazing

Five star all around. I have already recommended this tour to many of my patients and all of my friends because it was exactly what I wanted and it was exactly what it was advertised as.

Thomas was great, and he and Charlie made a great team.

Couldn't have been better. The tour would have been great without Charlie, but it was amazing with him. Charlie was the "icing on the cake."

Caen hotel- shower would b scalding one minute, freezing the next, back to scalding. Water pressure low, barely strong enough to rinse suds off. Not a lot to the room. But staff very friendly n helpful, good location, excellent breakfast buffet. TINY elevator!

Would like a little more time in Normandy area. Several smaller museums looked interesting, would b nice to check them out. Wondered about possibility of taking a train from Belgium to Munich. A lot easier on the butt as u can walk around, and might see countryside a little better.

Overall great tour. Things I’ve mentioned might make things a little better, but I understand there are time constraints, etc

Norvie is a hell of a driver. We got into some tight places where I thought “No way!” I sat in back row of bus, blue handles for reclining seats stick up above cushions. Still have bruise n sore spot from it digging into my upper thigh. Would like to see USB ports added to bus. Most of us used our phones as cameras as well as for other purposes and everybody low by afternoon. I had brought backup battery (“brick”) so I was OK but USB ports would b helpful.

Would like to have had more time at Omaha.

Would have liked to have spent more time at Utah.

The added guide showed us several pictures taken around Foy during the battle, then would point out those areas as we passed. Unfortunately we kinda whizzed by them and though he pointed them out, those of us in back of bus never did see them or even where he was pointing.

Joe was excellent, busted his ass to make sure we were well taken care of. Couldn’t believe he was a rookie! Great job!

I was very satisfied with Procom.

All the provided information was helpful.

IBIS hotel was nice, but room was very small. Melba was awesome. Holiday Inn was was good but I had issues with the drain in the shower. It took 2 days for the hotel to fix it.

A very good travel service.

For what we did, the places we visited and for the price we paid, I was very pleased. I think your tour was the best tour on a budget.

Gabe was a great driver, very courteous and showed the most respect helping the ladies on and off the bus.

Was another great guide and answered every question he was asked.

Matt was great! If we decide to take another tour, I would love to have him as a return tour manger.

He also answered all questions and was a good guide.

He was a great guide and very knowledgeable of our tour.

Very helpful with answering questions .

Good amount of info provided. Sufficient for my planning purposes.

Think it was sufficient.

It was comfortable, and clean. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.Food was good too. Location was great, close to town. Within walking distance. Good choice.

Outstanding. Attention to detail was apparent. No mistakes or delays. A lot of effort was put into making sure this tour was executed without any delays or issues.

Tour was super!!!! Very informative. Well planned out. The tour schedule fit all the key events into the 3 day event. I would highly recommend this tour. Just about the right amount of time. People were super, friendly and very helpful. It showed they cared.

Delicious. Well planned and on time. Catelyn did a great job insuring the places and their meals were on time. No complaints here. This was important since Catelyn made sure we followed the schedule without any delays.

He was great too. On time for scheduled locations. Very friendly and professional! He could drive that bus through the narrowest of streets! NO lost time on the schedule! He got us where we needed to be on time! Bus was always clean too.

Very good!

Good sight. Very informative especially about the guider.

Awesome. Without words, very moving.

Good information on the involvement of the Canadians to the invasion.

Very informative.

Provided good perspective on the German situation.

5 stars! Catelyn was very friendly, dedicated and professional. Catelyn always asked the tour group participants if there was anything anyone needed assistance on. Also, she visited with people during the meals to ensure they were satisfied especially the people with special dietary needs. Daily schedules were posted on time. Social times were very friendly and she ensured we all got a long together. Good tour group participants.

Stephane was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Suggest maybe cutting down a little on his presentations on the bus. After a while, just zoned him out. Information overload.

outstanding from start to finish--especially our consultant before departure (friendly, rapid response to emails/questions, specific info/answers) and the airport meeting point instructions

top-notch, fun, busy, informative, moving; would recommend for ease of planning and quality of experience

Akos was superb, getting us in and out of tight spaces and even a tunnel/underpass to avoid a city detour!

the recognition ceremony Robert Heinrich put together for those who had served in the military was especially thoughtful and appreciated!

as someone said at our last dinner, I can't think of anything he could have done to make the trip better. Arranged our Nuremburg tour in less than two days (over a weekend!) when we found out Eagles Nest was closed due to snow.

phenomenal in both knowledge and teaching ability

Just a little more information regarding culpability and mindset of German people for events leading up to and during the War years.

Both support staff and meals were simply outstanding.

I’ve been on other tours but, ProCom stands head and shoulder above others.

I already have recommended ProCom to others and will continue to do so. Can’t wait for my next adventure with the organization.

Simply scrumptious meals with beautiful presentation.

Truly a professional in every sense. Great personality and always a smile.

Especially enjoyed the ceremony at the chapel. Nice touch!

Wish I could give him six stars. Looking forward to a Viet Nam Tour with such quality staff. He made all of us feel important and constantly asked if there was anything more he could do. Can’t say enough about his professionalism and personal care.

Amusing and personable we’re Bruno’s best remembered qualities.

What a wealth of information and ability to put you in the battle through imaging.

It’s still hard to believe we had such a personable and knowledgeable guide. What a sense of history and perspective.

So much knowledge in one tour guide with a wonderful sense of honor.

Very helpful and upbeat.

Couldn’t have been better.

Hotels were great! Well located with excellent food.

Incredible to see and the guide was awesome.

Such a contrast to Omaha. Really enjoyed this day with the beach and the towns. The paratrooper support was incredible.

Really interesting to see the actual bridge remains.

I loved this part of the trip. Belgium is beautiful and the WW2 history is incredible. Really enjoyed the day on the front line following Peiper’s advance. Sorry, this should be in the northern line section. Loved seeing the Bastogne entrenched line and Foy off in the distance.

Yet another somber experience. I’m very thankful we stopped to see this.

Yuck, but had to see it.

In the heart of the beast. A wonderful tour with a great guide.

Unbelievable. What an interesting site and quite strange experience. Having watching lots of YouTube’s of the actual rallies, this was quite a day.

My favorite!

Somber experience. Loved it.

Wow, such a great day!

Canadian museum and beach guide was enthusiastic and informative.

Wow, a wonderful site to visit.

Loved seeing this site.

Very interesting.

What a beautiful seaside town and the harbor remains were surreal.

Well done.

I think the tour was great. The local guides were very knowledgeable and did a great job. Everything was run in a first class manner and I am completely satisfied.

Almost to much food but fortunately we were able to walk it off.

Robert did an outstanding job in keeping the group informed and prepared for whatever was upcoming. Especially did good work on the snow-out on the last day at Berchtesgaden. On short notice, came up with a great "plan B". Robert is a very personable young man who shared his knowledge of Europe to enhance the group's experience.

Christophe was exceptional. Thorough understanding of the battle of Normandy and able to communicate well with the group.

Robert discussed the morality and choices made by the average German regarding the concentration camps which I thought made the visit to Dachau more interesting than just a recitation of statistics. Very thought provoking.

Excellent understanding of the Battle of the Bulge and able to communicate the information to the group.

Other than spending more time there, I don't see how the tour could have been improved. Even being well read regarding the history, the combination of lodging, transportation and information would be hard to beat.

My only reservation is that given the seaside location, I'd have liked to have seen more seafood.

5-day Normandy Invasion review

Lance was very helpful, upfront, and good to work with.

Very helpful material. Data provided enabled us to better plan and prepare for the trip.

Not really, Perhaps a bit more history on the sights we were to visit. The data was obtainable elsewhere, but having it as part of your packet would have been more convenient.

Good. The showers took some getting used to. No doors and a short glass made it diffficult at times to keep the water from out of the rest of the bathroom.

Good service getting us into the program. Great service once we were picked up and taken away.

Very favorable impression. We are already telling others how happy we were with the tour.

Excellent. Your crew did a fantastic job getting us to a great place to dine and some very tasty meals. I loved to local fare, especially the cider.

The bus was a bit cramped and the overhead bins could have been a bigger. It was hard to store everything without having it in your lap. The recharging plugs were a big help. Our driver was a real pro. I’d hate to drive a vehicle that size in that traffic and in those tight areas. He never missed a beat and we felt totally safe in his hands.

Again, to actually walk the beach and climb the slopes brings out the heroic measures these men went through.

Being there gave us a whole different perspective on what took place. The openness and true lack of cover for approaching troops made the realities sink in a bit deeper.

Actually seeing what is there as opposed to seeing the movie meant a great deal. The glider pilots did an excellent job. Good training. Good flying. It took a lot of courage to do this.

Very, very moving. If this place doesn’t get to you there is something wrong with you. To see that many crosses and Stars of David and realize most of these men, and women, died pretty much on the same day and place has to be thought provoking. To realize there are still people there who take that much care of the grounds means the sacrifices made have left a strong impression on people.

Impressive, but not as much as I thought it would be. Such a small area for such an heroic action.

This is one of the beaches we never received sufficient schooling on, probably due to the fact it was not ‘American’.

Very sobering place. It is hard to believe so much damage could come from such a place.

Being there gave us a better idea of the close quarters involved and how difficult it would have been to avoid becoming a casualty.

Another place we have had too little schooling on. My comments on open warfare followed by urban warfare probably should have gone here. The fact remains, the British and the Canadians performed bravely and well. My hat is off to them.

I wish we could have actually walked the battle area. It would have made for a better understanding of what took place.

Very informative, especially when it came to the gliders.

The plane ride helped one get a better feeling of what it was like going in. Obviously, not as much as actually undergoing the experience.

Very impressive. I was not aware of its existence.

See above.

Seeing the town so close to the landing site gave one pause knowing that one had to get across the beach against severe odds and then be forced to fight in such close quarters. The remains of the Mulberry system was a bit disappointing until one realized it has been 70 years of pounding surf on the remains and yet they are still there. The engineering that went into it is also amazing considering the lack of today’s computer assisted calculations and drafting.

It helped to actually see the place as opposed to just reading about it and looking a pictures.

Catelyn did an excellent job. We left on time. Arrived on time. Saw some sights we would have missed had we done this alone. Her advice was excellent. Her help making our tour a great one was indispensable. I’ve had other tour managers and she is right up there with the best. She conducted herself very well and is a credit to Procom.

Stephan was excellent! Language was a minor issue. Trying to absorb all eh tried to pass on to us was very impressive and probably an impossible mission. I learned a great deal.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

They answered any questions I had promptly and directly. Helpful!

I would have like to had been given the opportunity to at least request a side trip to a family gravesite prior to the start of the tour. I could have asked the tour Director ((I didn't) assuming it was too late.

I thought all the hotels were very good and certainly served the purpose. Mecure had a good dinner buffet with entrée choices. much appreciated, Melba was a bit smaller but well maintained. I suspect that market had fewer choices./ The owner/manager was very good and worked very hard to service our group. The Courtyard Marriot was the best of the three offering larger rooms and some English channel TV service. All three could have offered more English content TV feeds

Everything exceeded my expectations. No complaints. We were well feed, keep a reasonable timetable, packed a lot in so for what we did thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I have some disappointments however. Not being able to see the actual foxholes in Bastogne and not going to the Eagle's nest was a big disappointment. The Berchtesgaden website said it did not open until May 24th so not sure why it was on the itinerary for a May 13th visit?

Informative, interesting, varied. Service was very well done. Easy to be there. Schedule was full and the accommodations were comfortable

Generally the food quality and quantity was very good. There were a couple of occasions that were not quite as good as the standard but nothing worthy of a complaint

Charlie was great. Coach was comfortable. Wifi worked well. Adequate stops along the way.

We visited several areas of Omaha beach which gave us a very good perspective on what happened there. Glad we took in the Overlord museum to compensate for the limited access to the full cemetery

Well done. Lots of time to view all the exhibits, beach areas and cafe

Well done. Guided tour was adequate

Good. Very disappointed that we did not get to the actual foxholes where easy company were during the battle. Apparently the road was blocked as they are trying to protect the site for the 75th anniversary celebrations late this year

The guided tour was very good and the subject matter expert was unique in offering his perspective. The tour of the military equipment was well done, impressive as was the visit through the headquarters and the recreation of the scenes

Weather did not cooperate. Steady rain and cold but was still interesting. The Tour Director added a special wreathe laying ceremony which was a very nice touch for those who participated

Everyone should experience this tour!. Food was OK but should not detract from the impact of visiting this historic site.

Generally very good. Guided tour was well done. Weather did not cooperate but interesting nonetheless

Very interesting

Unique frank perspective

Very interested in the actual battlefield sites so well done. Guided tour was excellent in his enthusiasm on the subject.

The actual grave areas were cordoned off in preparation of the 75th Anniversary celebrations (that is what we were told) so limited the full impact of the visit but the facility is very impactful. The visitor centre was not open.

Well done with pretty of time to visit the entire site. The visitor centre was somewhat restricted due to the security screening measures so we skipped that

Well done. The guided tour was excellent and the museum excellent

Thought the site was good and time to visit adequate.

Barry was exceptional, and handled the unexpected with ease. Easy to relate to, responsive, organized and caring

didn't think there was much to see so OK with not spending much time there. I thought the British could have done more to honour their troops!!

Exceptional as we were able to gain better access that was originally planned due to the tour director and driver's initiative. They backed to bus along the access road until we got to the Manor. The owner came out and gave the group an impromptu talk about the action that took place there. Would have ben out of the park if we could have actually walked the tree line where the gun emplacements were.

Well done. I could have spent even longer in the various museums but in fairness to the group we had lots of time.

Good spot to view the remnants

I found it a little difficult to know where to view the presentation and wondered if I had missed some of it

local first hand knowledge!

Nice walk with the tour guide.

very knowledgeable and interesting

If you have an interest in WWII or D Day, BBOB is the company to use. You will be completely immersed in all the history of the sites you are visiting.

Charlie was a fantastic driver. I felt safe with his driving.

Barry was great! He was the perfect tour manager-handling every issue and explaining all details to the group. I would give him a 5++.

They were excellent! Knowledgeable and informative.

5-day Normandy Invasion review

Lance was excellent. He answered all of my questions, usually in less than a day. He did a great job.

Lance answered every question I had and then added even more information that made my understanding even better.

I would like to have received more information on the places where we had lunch or dinner. I lost my notes on them and I was planning on sending them a letter telling them how much I enjoyed their food and service. I did tell them face to face as we left each establishment, but I thought a letter would have been an extra. Your people in the filed did a great job in finding not only where to eat, but what to pre-order. We really enjoyed what was served, especially when given a chance to try local foods as opposed to "American" foods. Local fare made the trip much more enjoyable.

The rooms were a bit small by the standards I am used to when travelling around the States, but then again, we enjoyed the service and the food. The people were great and the food was very delicious and healthy.

We are very pleased and will tell others this.

We are very happy. It was a trip of a lifetime for us. You met all of our expectations and then some. We are already telling others about what all we did and how well things went.

I'm surprised I only gained 2 pounds! Then again, before I joined the tour group my wife and I spent seven days in Paris, mainly walking. I think we walked close to 50 miles in seven days. That takes a few pounds off you. Every meal we had was excellent! Whoever took the time and effort to scout out where to eat and what meals to have served out did themselves. I wanted to eat local dishes, I did and they were great. I enjoyed some of the best sea food I've had in quite a while. The breakfasts were just enough and tasted good. The local cider was a treat (Thanks Catelyn for recommending them).

The seats were a bit cramped and leg room could have been better. The overhead storage was a bit shallow and that made it hard to store one's personal gear. Our driver as great. A real professional. I oversaw safety issues for years, to include drivers, both professionals and non-CDL types. Normally, I am very nervous when other people drive and I am a passenger. This is especially true on crowded roads and roads with less than optimum room to spare at corners and intersections. Our driver handled all aspects of this trip in a truly professional manner. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the gentleman's name (Catelyn can tell you if you do not already know).

Another impressive place to physically walk and experience, especially if one has a real idea of what transpired there and why.

Again, I studied the battles while in high school (Culver Military Academy) and college (USMA), but actually being there made a much different impression on me. Reviewing maps tells you who moved where and when, but actually walking the ground and seeing the obstacles gives one a completely different perspective of what took place. Having been on competitive rifle teams in high school and college I had a much different perspective on what both a defender and an invader went through. I could more easily see why the casualties were so high.

I knew about this operation and why it was undertaken. Actually seeing where the gliders landed; how close they came to the bridge when they did land; and, how close the opposing forces were when they fought (in mainly open areas) was impressive. Why more men were not killed is unbelievable. Then again, I have to believe the opposing troops just were not battle-hardened enough for the job. Had they had more experience I think the out come could have been different. My hat is off to the glider pilots. Great training and determination paid off.

Extremely impressive! We knew it would be, but knowing this was not sufficiently effective enough to get one ready to actually see the place. Almost a sensual overload. My hat is off to everyone who works to maintain the place. They have done a magnificent job. Probably a labor of love for many. If anyone can go there and not be touched there has to be something wrong with them. This really brought home the significance of what took place. I wish every American could tour this place as a requirement to getting one's high school diploma and/or college degree. If more young men and women were to physically see this place and be educated on why it was there our country would be a better place to live.

It was not as impressive as I thought it would be. I know the history. I even met a man who made the climb. I'm not sure why, but for some reason I expected more.

Interesting beach. I supposed because I went through American schooling not much was taught in regards to Juno and Sword. That is a pity. These guys did a whole lot to make the entire plan work. I learned a lot here.

I've seen pictures, but physically being there is even more impressive. I would have thought the guns would have done more damage (even though they did enough). Learning why they did not (communications) was not something taught in school.

Again, I had studied this in school. It was amazing so many survived. but just as amazing anyone would have "volunteered" to do this.

Again, I did not get as much education on this beach as I did on Omaha and Utah. I wish I had. From my point of view, attacking a beach and crossing several hundred yards of no-cover sand is bad enough, but doing that and then having to fight in an urban area is even worse in many ways. Yes, a brick wall may give you some extra cover, but it also hides a lot problems areas, too. Seeing this made that point even more obvious to me.

I understood what transpired. I would have liked to have been able to physically walked the area in order to get a better picture of what everyone went through.

This reinforced what I had already been taught. My wife found it as being a brand new lesson. She had no real clue as to how glider operations actually took place; the way the planes took the gliders aloft; the way they were loaded and unloaded; the harsh realities of bad landings; and, how courageous these guys had to be to jump out of planes or ride one into an unknown landing zone. She got a real education.

Almost too commercial. Most of the info provided had already been given elsewhere. The plane ride was interesting, but there was not enough information as to why it was called what it was called.

I knew the German's suffered immense casualties and had to have been buried somewhere, but I did not know where. Going to this cemetery was a real eye-opener and filled in some blanks in my knowledge base. I was impressed that the cemetery was well laid out and maintained. One might have thought this would not have been the case based on the feelings the French probably had during and after the war.

I expected to see more and learn more. I studied engineering as well as history and military science and tactics, but I think more could have been laid out on this subject. The whales were new to me. I had learned the Mulberry Harbor was made in England and towed into place. I do not believe many of the people on this tour fully understood how this was done or the full significance of it being there.

Impressive and well done.

I knew about this place and its history. To see it in person put a whole different light on the subject. Reading about something is one thing but actually being there is something else again. It makes the history that much more personal.

She did an excellent job. She was diplomatic when necessary. Always helpful. Made sure all of our needs were met. Offered timely and accurate advice. She had a time table to meet and she made sure it was met (herding cats in many ways). She was and I am sure she will remain, an very good face for Procom. She did an outstanding job. I've had tour managers before that I would cheerfully kick off the bus. Not her. My wife and I are more than happy with her performance.

He provide more information in three days than I think I received in over seven years of education in military science (high school and college). I only wish his English had been better. I am slightly hard of hearing and this caused me to have trouble hearing and understanding what he was trying to put across. Great guy who is truly interested in what he is presenting. I wish I had every teacher in school as interested and dynamic in the material as Stephane is. School would have been a lot better and much more interesting to me than it was.

5-day Normandy Invasion review

Extremely informative. I never felt we were wasting time and being held too long in any one place yet I also felt that we had enough time at most locations to see all we wanted. For me, at age 68, I was tired at the end of the day but not totally worn out. I think it was a good mix of riding and walking. I can't imagine a better tour of the places we went too with the time allotted. One thing that was a problem for my brother and I was that even with the instructions to get to the parking lot at the airport, we had difficulty getting started in the right direction and wandered around for a long time until we were able to find a gendarme who helped us.

My personal preference is not to have a full course meal for lunch. I would have preferred a choice of something lighter like a sandwich or caesar salad. But all the food was excellent.

Seats are actually a little tight for a 6 footer like my brother and I. Otherwise, the bus was fine. Tony the driver was excellent. He got us in and out of places I couldn't believe we could get into. He seemed to be a really nice guy and very professional. He's a keeper too.

Probably the best tour guide I've ever had. Outstanding local knowledge and answered every question. Went out of his way to talk about things we were interested in.

Matt couldn't be more accommodating or conscientious. A nice guy who clearly enjoys taking us out. He got to know all of us individually and was attentive to special needs. He's a gem!

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

It was a great tour. I would definitely recommend the tour and already have.

Charlie was awesome He made our rides very pleasant.

Our tour guide was awesome, Reg Jans, I had seen him on a few videos before going and he is amazing with the information that he knows

We needed more time but we were able to cover almost all of the information that was there.

This was on my fathers bucket list even in the rain it was a good stop.

We were told we were going to walk about an 1.5 miles, it was well over that. The tour guide had a ton of information that was very interesting to hear.

We were able to meet Charles de Vallavieille which made the visit even better.

11-day Beyond Band of Brothers review

I’m saying yes but only because there is so much more I want to know. Our manager and guides were fantastic but there is no way to cover everything.

They were all good. They provided great breakfasts and good dinners. Might have had more choices on dishes,

If there was any complaint, and it’s not really Procom’s problem, is I think this was rated a level two exercise. There might be a way to say for those over sixty it could seem more strenuous! I won’t put this on Procom but it’s just a thought. My wife and I have been on many tours and though not in the best shape, this one hit us harder especially at the end. Again, not on Procom but we also had events before the tour that added to our fatigue and we have also not been on a tour of this length. Additionally I must say that Barry was super accommodating and helpful to us in this matter.

No meal was bad but there might have been more choices. Mercure had fish and beef two nights and fish and chicken the third. We had versions of beef stew three times. Again, all were good but might offer different selections.

No complaints! Charlie was fantastic!

Just not enough time as the museum was so comprehensive.

Leg problem developed making a long walk not advisable.

No fault of BOB but construction blocked a lot.

Very technical and knowledgeable!

Fantastic! Guide was great!

Loved her! Knowledgeable and funny!

Both were great!

Staff was amazing. Breakfast was great! Rooms were very clean.

Tour covered subject and sights very well. I was well versed on the Normandy landings, and someone who only had a limited knowledge of the battle would come away with a much greater understanding of the subject.

Tony was very professional, and very safe.

Methias was very knowledgeable about area! He was great!

Natasha was spectacular helping us get everything booked.

Procom covered every aspect of information we needed.

I have never stayed in such a beautiful place. This hotel was as perfect a place as we could have hoped for.

I loved it! There were a few times it felt a bit hurried, but overall it was excellent.

Maybe just a tad more variety. Too much pork.

I swear Tony could park that bus in a shoe box.

I could not believe the sheer cliffs and imagining how soldiers climbed those cliffs to assault German positions.

I loved touring the gun emplacements

Just wish we had a little more time here, but it was still great to see.

Mathias is a walking history book.

Just wish we could have seen the actual gun positions.

The authentic WWII memorabilia was amazing.

Still blood stains on the pews.

Matt rocks!!

This was a gem right in the middle of Bayeux. My heart hurt looking at the ages listed on the grave markers. So young.

11-day Normandy to the Bulge review

The consultant took the initiative to call me regarding a question on the donation I intended to give and cleared-up any questions I had.

The tour catalog was very comprehensive and satisfied my desires.

My bed is Bastogne was perfect in terms of getting a good night of sleep. At each hotel the staff was excellent and the food was good. Hotels were clean and convenient.

You did a marvelous job on this tour and I intend to come back for another tour of two, or three.

I cannot think of any aspect of the tour that was a dis appointment. As I said to Charlie, "The tour met achieved my hopes and exceed my expectations." I have already been talking-up your tours and fully intend to see you forks again.

Far Better than I expected! Good variety of good food.

A luxury coach with a friendly, capable driver. I was glad I was not driving on some of those Normandy roads.

High tide during our visit precluded getting down on the beach but the fact that we were there and could see the difficulties in getting off the beach were amazing.

A beautiful city with amazing views from the ramparts. The local tour guide rambled a bit so that was a disappointment.

Explanation of the time-frame for subduing the beach and for Ted Roosevelt's role was very valuable.

I must compliment the locals for their preservation of the original bridge.

Again, the upkeep and general air if respect in this place are entirely appropriate to the recognition of the sacrifice.

I cannot praise Charlie too highly. He was personable, humorous and knowledgeable. I hope I am lucky enough to have Charlie leading my next BBOB tour.

A very good view of the valley and the explanation clarified a lot for me.

Christoff and Henri were well-prepared and knowledgeable.

The guide did a great job of pointing out the painstaking efforts of the Battle Monuments Commission and graves of particular interest.

This was one of the must-see places on my list and the sights as well as the narrative by the guide were very good.

This was one of the high points of the trip for me. Preservation of the guns and the observation bunker were outstanding.

Information provided regarding the actual positions of the snagged parachutists made me feel like an insider.

Most impressive, especially the mounting of historical photos in the places where they were taken.

C for me. ontemporary photos of the "Dead Man's" vehicle and the surviving building made history come alive

The castle was wonderful.

Excellent preservation of what remains and pictures of the contemporary installation aided my appreciation of the significance of these harbors.

A little confusing with different scenes showing up on different parts of the screen.

Seeing the foxholes from which this battle took place was moving.

5-day Normandy Invasion review

had several questions before, during, and after booking. procom answered very patiently

I liked the hotel. it was nice and the location was excellent, but what procom calls 4 star, and would I call it, are different

it is impossible to be prepared for every possible contingency, but procom did an excellent job producing this tour. Gabreilla was a tour manager with skills far beyond what her age would have first suggested.

everything was nearly seamless from pick up at airport all the way through to tour completion. accommodations were good. food was good. water was readily available throughout the day. tours were good, interesting, and maintained a good pace. not too fast or too slow. however, because of the pace of the tour, a basic knowledge of the history was a must to understand the context of what was being seen. a VERY SHORT basic introduction or outline with a simple map at the beginning of the tour would have been useful to those not familiar with the subject, such as spouses or others along as a companion. other than some small technical difficulties, use of the radios during the tours was tremendous. allowed a great deal of freedom to explore the sites but still stay fully in touch with the guide's narration. loved the tour. the local guide, Christophe, really cared about the subject matter and it showed. he added a real depth and impact to the history. adding in personal stories of soldiers as well as civilians, turned out to be more emotional than I had expected. only wished it had been longer and had more time to explore the different locations more fully. i completely recommend this procom tour, with the caveat, go for the longer tour if you can.

everything was very good. no unpleasant surprises. no shortages at hotel breakfast and dinners and with a great variety. some of the establishments seemed a little overwhelmed by appearance of such a sizable crowd all at once. seating was sometimes crowded.

had some difficulty with wifi connection. driver had excellent skills, always on time and prepared

one day not nearly enough time for such an enormous site with such a complicated story, but I suppose that is what a longer tour is for

an excellent guide. friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, excellent language skills

wonderful town. movie was a moving testimony. seemed noticeably light on honoring or even mentioning the British, especially considering it was at a British landing site

only site offering a detailed tour of german fortifications. museum was a little light on displays and content

everything popular culture visualizes as the legend of the atlantic wall.

a necessary stop to pay homage to what happened there, but its' single monument doesnt make it look like many people attach much importance to the site.

only location where authentic and reproduction collectables were available

heart breaking story that is not well known

extremely friendly. great language skills. could have been a little more prepared for some unusual but not unforeseeable difficulties

5-day Normandy Invasion review

We loved the Chateau de la Bellefontaine in Bayeux. Only issue really is that each room occupant should be given a key to the room. When we arrived, the hotel staff was just implementing a new electronic card system and we couldn't get into our room. Was fixed in five minutes. Still, each occupant should get their own key.

I would recommend this Tour for the person who wants an intense, though not terribly rushed, exposure to the highlights of the Invasion. It was, for me, a perfect complement to the hundreds of books and many films I have watched about D-Day.

Apart from the fact that we had pork three times our of four or five meals in the middle of the Tour, the food was very good. Breakfast selections were varied and good. Suggest a can of Pam spray by the pancake grill and maybe even a small set of written instructions on how to make them. There was a lot of trail and error there.

Yes, Tony, whom many kidded about how young he appears, is an excellent driver. Many will comment on his expertise in backing the coach into very tight spaces. He managed the narrow country roads without any problems. Well done.

For the first time, I understood the importance of Utah Beach as relates Cherbourg. Utah Beach, perhaps because of the relatively low casualties, get under-appreciated.

Mathias had a PhD level knowledge of the Invasion and added a great deal to the value of the Tour. The fact that he is French is a bonus.

I wish we could have seen the actual Manor at Brecourt. We all know the story well, from the Band of Brothers book and series.

This was unexpected and an example of the many, many stories of courage that emerged from the Invasion.

Matt is a consummate professional. He is knowledgeable, confident, and a problem-solver without drama. I have to imagine that he is a very-much valued ProCom employee.

Glad to see that Major Winters got such permanent recognition. He is a great example of the citizen-soldier.

9-day American Civil War Tour - March to the Sea review

I found all accommodations/presenters proficient (save Carter) and willing to please.

The only meal I did not like was the Italian food on final night; this was first time in my life I returned food to kitchen.

Debra was super--caring, full of information/fun facts--took questions from all quarters and answered or found answers. She was not fearful of saying, "I do not know."

I especially enjoyed Bobby-Jones exhibit.

only downside--rain--appropriate for cemetery tour. How did you manage that?

The lecturer went like a Gattling gun--did not segment for dispersion of information.

Very good ranger--answered all questions.

Presenters just fabulous as well as exhibits--first time for me at Naval Museum/Civil War.

Ranger was wonderful.

wow--what a joy to see/hear about the adventure. I did not enjoy the cheesy film shown on bus.

Delightful--I hope she had safe delivery of little ranger.

Her presentation attempted two wars--Rev and Civil--disjointed; it would have been better to focus on just one.

11-day Normandy to the Bulge review

Very Satisfied

Would have liked to know that we were to be "on the move" each day as much as we were before leaving the US. IT would not have changed my plans but would have liked to know.

Hotels were fine and clean. Hotel bar service at no hotel was great. I do understand why but being w/o transportation to another bar made us a tad "captive."

Avant and Ann Taylor were excellent too...

Great tour! A bit much for older participants, but I think your company choose most necessary and best places to visit. I DO understand there is much to see and you want your participants to get their money's worth (which we DID). I mostly kept up but skipped upper Mont-St-Michel and Lux city.

Generally, meals were excellent. way more than I usually eat. One beef meal was way sub par. One beef and potatoes meal was best (Dinner-Bastogne). One lunch restaurant in France (name ?...sorry) had ONE non English speaking server. He was a teenager and totally overwhelmed by our group. It was the fancy pink joint with linen on tables and nothing to drink for first 1/2 hour

New coach with John our "combat" driver...

Patton...YES!

Charlie was great with a wonderful sense of humor

Best local guide we had...

Too much walking for older persons

Again a lot of walking for older folks after the rigor of previous days...and I love Castles!

9-day American Civil War Tour - March to the Sea review

The "My Trip" link is an excellent idea.

Small room on first floor facing main road. Traffic very noisy.

This was very different from the first trip. We did mostly battlefields during A Nation Tested. On this trip we visited Forts and very impressive Museums.

Nice variety!

She did a fantastic job! Life happens....... In spite of all the personal problems that hit her at home - Debra continued to run the race through to the finish line! This woman can handle anything thrown her way! A true leader!

9-day American Civil War Tour - March to the Sea review

My wife and I had a wonderful time on the tour. Non stop activities from landing to departure. We would recommend this tour to anyone interested in the civil war or just seeing the south.

She was fabulous in all aspects of the tour. I would definitely tour with her again.

Long and too much history

Very informative, interesting, great local guides and we saw so much.

I thought we could have had something better than a hamburger for dinner in Bastogne after such a great lunch.
